Four tickets to see ***** **** and **** ******** were purchased on February 3rd, 2023. The concert was to be held on April 29th, 2023, but was canceled on short notice. A refund was not given. Several emails were sent to the theatre and an email was send saying a refund would be given 21 to 30 days. No refund was given. No phone calls were returned and after a while, no answering machine at all. I did not report this sooner because I was hoping it could be resolved with the theatre. I am hoping you can help me get this resolved. The Order ID is: **********

On March 4, I ordered 2 tickets for a ***** ****/***** ******** concert at the Cameo Theatre in ******** ** (scheduled for 4/29/23) for a total of $173.26. My order ID is *********** The show was canceled. I received notification of the cancelation on April 27 (which was a second mass email --- I was not included in the first notification email a week prior). The email indicated that refunds would be issued within a timeframe of 21-30 days to the original payment method. As of this report, I have not received my refund. I have attempted to call the venue (which seems to only be open during an event) and gotten no answer. I have emailed them using all contact forms available on their site. I have received no response. I feel I have exhausted all avenues of contact. I want my refund!! It has been 3 months since this show was canceled. Sincerely, *** ********

I purchased tickets to a concert that they canceled then kept my money. They never returned anyone's money who purchased tickets and it evident from all the complaints on line. This, I have found out is common practice for this venue, as they have done this recently for another concert and kept the money of thousands of people. I have attempted contact through email, phone, and online. They have since blocked all customers who contact them asking about a refund. I have contacted several local news stations trying to get a story done about this place. I sent an email the the city manager as well. Why is this being allowed? Why is it ok for this company to literally steal thousands of people's money?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  The venue did finally issue a refund, so I'm sure receiving a message from BBB had alot to do with it and I am very appreciative. Thank you.  Regards, **** ****

In Feb, 2023 I purchased 2 tickets (for the amount of 173.26) to the Rock Rebel street concert. This concert was cancelled. I have not been refunded my money as of yet. Business will not answer phone calls or emails. Now they have announced the business is for SALE.

My husband and I purchased tickets to the Rebel Rock Street Show on 2/3/23 from Cameo Theater. The concert was for 4/29/23 at 6:30. According to the phone recording at Cameo Theater a refund would be made within 30 days. I contacted the Cameo theater through e-mail and explained our credit card had been stolen and we had to get a new one which I told them the name of the bank and the information so if needed they can verify. I received an e-mail back and it said they would mail a check to our address. We have never received the check and have tried to call the Cameo several times always getting a busy signal or voicemail. I have also emailed several more times with no response. I would like to get my refund since it is already 7/17/23 and the concert was cancelled around 2 weeks before it was supposed to happen in April of 2023. I also seen on **** the Cameo was going up for sell so I would hope all ticket refunds would be complete before that happens.

I have been seeking a refund for a canceled high profile concert that was to take place several months ago at the Cameo. It was ***** **** and there was a lot of publicity around it. I purchased 3 vip tickets at a total cost of approx $350. The concert was subsequently cancelled and the cameo said all tickets will be refunded. Now, several months later, I still have not got my money. I have made numerous attempts via email and phone and I never have received a response from them. I could never actually talk with a live person. I know there is a lot of people in the same situation from social media and chat on the local news website. Now, I understand, the cameo is for sale and people are worried that Mr. Buchanon has no intention of refunding a lot of people. He should never receive a business license in Virginia again, in my opinion. Thank you **** ******
