1 starLadies or Gentlemen: On May 23, 2025 at approximately 230pm I visited the Family Dollar Store located at 6 ********* ********** ***** Russellton, PA 15076. As soon as I went to checkout, the Cashier walked over to the potato chips aisle & begun throwing bags of chips on the floor, I assumed they were expired. However, the Cashier had a clear view of me waiting to be checkout. I waited several minutes as she continued throw bags of chips on the floor. So I politely place the cold items I had back into the cooler & left the store. In addition, the store has potential legal liability issues with the aisles being block. It's just a matter of time before the company experiences a slip and fall lawsuit. I propose that I acquire staffing on a contractual basis to come in after hours & stock your shelves to eliminate the block aisles. Please acknowledge & respond to issues presented to you.Review fromIsalliah B

1 starFamily Dollar Purchase 03/04/2025: - ******* Wireless prepaid cell phone - TCL 40 XE 5G - Cell Phone Price: ****** final w/tax: ****** - Calling Card Price: ****** final w/tax: ****** I am filing a complaint and requesting an investigation into the Family Dollar store located at ***** ****** *** Store #***. On 03/04/2025, I purchased a cell phone and calling card. Upon attempting to activate the ******* prepaid cell phone, it would not activate through the phone, and I had to call customer service. Even then, the phone could not be activated. I tried adding funds to the ******* account, but the card had no funds available. When I returned to the store for an exchange or refund, they stated that all purchases are final and no exchanges or refunds are allowed. I then went to **** *** to purchase a prepaid cell phone, but all their phones were out of stock except for one available behind the counter. Once purchased, the phone was already activated without an account set up. I contacted ****** discovered that the account had been open since January 2025. I also contacted *******, who stated that the phone was not registered as a prepaid phone but sold as a service only. This discovery indicates that store owners allowing these sales are compromising their customer information and more. I am relentless in pursuing justice and accountability for all parties involved in compromising my identity. All of my *****, social media, bank accounts, and credit accounts have been compromised after purchasing these phones. Furthermore, they were able to disconnect, intercept, and reroute my calls from those devices. I am requesting a thorough investigation into Family Dollar, **** ***, ******, *******, and **** ** ******* to uncover how all of this corruption is tied together.Review fromLois L

1 starDo not shop at the Family Dollar on SW **** *** ************ **** ** **** If you walk in with a purse, they treat you like a thief, I was told I had to keep my bag in my car as soon as I walked in the door. I told the clerk that it was my purse and that my wallet was too big to carry in my pants pocket so I needed to keep my purse. She says d it’s not allowed. I have been in several Dollar Stores (including that one) and have never been treated like a thief until today. I went to another store and they had no problem with my purse. They even helped me to my car with my many bags. I hope the clerk who treated me like a criminal loses her job. She’s not fit to work around people.Review fromPreston S

1 starI will never shop at Family Dollar again. I have several times in the past. They hire predatory parking enforcement with long criminal records. We ran reverse look ups on the number on the ticket and the # my daughter had send the apple pay too Last night my daughter met her sister went to this Beat the Bomb place at **** ******* **. The parking lot was full so my daughter parked next door. When she came out there was a boot on her car and a large man standing by it who told her she had to pay $*** to get it off. She wanted to call her sister. He told her not too. He asked if she had apple pay and she does. She had to apple pay him $*** to get the boot removed. I understand and accept that my daughter may have parked somewhere she shouldn't have. (I have been towed twice in my life). Something seems really sketchy about this though. I googled **** ****** *** ******* ********". Doesn't seem to exist on ******. Family Dollar I understand your need to keep people who aren't your customer at the current moment out of your lot but if yo hire people who intimidate young girls for exorbitant amounts of money I can no longer frequent your stores and will tell many this story.Review fromTarsha S

1 starThe manager is very unprofessional. He called me a derogatory name. I asked could I get my receipt he stated "when it comes out." He argued with me while customers were in the store. He ALWAYS have an attitude like he doesn't want to work. The name that he called me is a female dog. He should not be working in customer service. I am waiting for the district manager to return my call. I will not patronize this business very unprofessional.Review fromBrigitte J

4 starsHello, Sir or Ma’am. It seems the turn around is fast for the hiring different employees. They like playing music but have a hard time with professionalism. I am grateful to be able to shop alone without any strangers following me and with people who I am more familiar with for lots of great deals on food plus more! I also think that the employee should be able to hand me my grocery bag because I don’t work here but it’s always more than asking, “How are you?”Review frombrianna m

1 starThis location is a high traffic area. The customer's complain a lot with the homeless being around the business selling drugs not to mentioned the high theft in the store. The manager of the store is not complying with safety for staff, the parking lot in the community is always nasty of trash doesn't look good at all. The customers are tired of the loitering in front of the the store and panhandling .The rate the store going with the lack of customer service and the poor skills of being a people person where you work shows a lot and the customers see that as well not to mentioned can't keep staff at your store as well ..It's definitely unfortunate...Review fromMichael W

1 starBought a heater for my office from the family dollar on Garner Rd in Raleigh NC. The heater did not work. Tried to get an exchange on the same day within a couple of hours of purchase and was told no exchange on electronics. I have the original receipt and it's in the original package. This is unacceptable. I am also the consumer protection agency for recourse since this company seems uninterested. Mike ******** leaving one star because I have too. Poor customer service and poorly made products. Patronize at your own risk. This takes me back to the days when they sold irregular underwear and t shirts. I thought the quality had improved but was proven wrong todayReview fromBenjamin M

1 starOn 10/22/2024 I went into the family dollar at broad street to purchase a few things to prepare a meal. After returning to the register with my items, I felt a strong need to use the restroom as I had been waiting on my commute to the Family Dollar store. I then placed my items at the checkout and advised the clerk that I had to run to the restroom, I will be right back to pay for my items. Then proceeded to the rear of the store where the restrooms are located. Once I reached within 3 feet of the males restroom, I was startled by a young lady who yelled at me what are you doing back here? I replied, going to the restroom ma’am. She then replied, You are a WHOLE MAN and you can use it outside. You cannot use this restroom!!!… I then replied, this is a public place, this is a public restroom, and I am a paying customer. She replied, you are not a customer because at this point I’m refusing you service. you seen the sign on the door!!! I replied what sign and proceeded to look on the door for the sign. After seeing there was no sign she advise me that someone removed it. I replied well I’ll just pay for my things and leave. As I approached the register she followed me with a phone and called the police on me saying i refused to leave the store. I then proceeded back to my vehicle where I had a accident messing my clothes and my car. After arriving home to get myself cleaned up, I called the store and requested for the number for Corporate. The then gave me the wrong number. I called this number and it was some life line program for medical alert. I then called the store back and advised she should give the correct information because it’s mandatory that I speak with corporate. She then hung up on me. I didn’t get any sleep last night as I had to be up to drive back to mobile to file my complaint via another store location.Review fromDonna H

1 starI had such a bad experience at the family dollar in Oakforest Il. What’s frustrating is the fact the it is hard to contract management to address my concerns. The assistant manager Tara at this location is very rude
