In December I went for VA state inspection and it failed due to a bad front passenger tire. I had to go to a meeting that day and said I will return in few days to get it replaced which I did. When I returned, they quoted me over $1000 for 4 tires due to not having 4 of the cheaper option, I asked if I will be ok driving if they replace only the front two. I even told them I have a long trip over 1000 miles that week and need to be safe on the road. They confirmed with YES and changed only my 2-front tire (near $500). Two days later less than 220 miles since we passed inspection, we got stuck in the middle of Ohio on a Friday night due to the back tire being completely destroyed. We had to call road assistance; get a hotel room in the middle of nowhere and wait till the morning for a tire shop to open. Next morning at Walmart they refused to change only 2 tires on an AWD car. Their policy is to change all 4 tires due to different brand/ware can cause a complication to the car. Something I never knew and Kia didn't inform me of. We ended up buying 2 new tires ($220) and changing it ourselves at the parking lot so we can continue our trip. When contacted Kia to report how bad both of my back tires were (that the metal was seen (photos sent)-they responded very brief and careless. With issuing VA state inspection pass they put mine and my friend life into danger and overcharged me for service that now cost me way more. I contact them again and asked to do something but despite the promise a manager Christopher Prevatt or Michael Torress will follow up with me and reimburse me-this never happened. Do the right thing by at least follow up with your customers when you say you will do it. I cannot tell how disappointed and upset I am of this kind of unprofessional service. They put our life into danger, and this is not acceptable! Wish they failed me for all 4 tires instead of taking my money and letting me drive stating I am safe to do it, when I wasn't! So irresponsible

When the customer came in for the state inspection their front tires failed inspection. The rear tires were measured at 4/32nds which passes inspection. They were recommended to replace all 4 tires as although they passed inspection, it wouldn't be terribly long until they would fail inspection. Certainly, long before a year when the next inspection would need to be done. They declined the work. In order to pass the inspection, they did the minimum required which was the front 2 tires. They were advised the rear tires were "cupped" (uneven wear) which is a symptom of misalignment which is why we recommended they replace all four. When they chose not to do the rear tires, they assumed their own risk. Tires at 4/32nds do pass inspection and are considered safe by state standards. Without any visible damage to the tire there is no way to predict when a tire fail. Road hazard, potholes, curbs, etc. come into play to damage tires as well. I am sorry the customer was inconvenienced in any way, but they declined the work we recommended and by state standards the rear tires were still deemed safe.

PART 1: On March 23, 2022 my husband put a $2,000 deposit down with Beyer Volvo Cars Falls Church on a 2021 Ford Mustang GT VIN#1FA6P8CFXM5112940. Due to our work schedules, we were not able to come down to pick up the car until March 30, 2022, but our salesperson George M**** said with the $2,000 deposit the car would be held until we got there. After back and forth with both George M**** and Mike M**** (Sales MGR) to get paperwork, add car to insurance, and also to send our licenses etc. down we were all set to purchase plane tickets. Plane tickets were purchased on March 24, 2022 through United. Flight details were sent to George M**** so that he could arrange Uber and to have the car ready. He confirmed all of this by email on March 25, 2022. We also confirmed that we are good to go, have the car, and could sell my husband’s car. So we sold his car on March 25, 2022 and now we were all set and ready to go. Copy of the payment being secured and the insurance was sent to the dealership as well during this time. On March 28th, my husband had 3 missed calls from Beyer Volvo and woke up to the 4th call which he was able to answer in time. The salesperson George M**** and General Sales Manager Max A***** called to inform us that the car we are flying down to get was stolen along with three Volvos. My husband was in complete shock and Max offered deposit back and airfare. My husband stated he would call once I got home. At 4pm we called Max back and we felt bad they had 4 cars stolen, and apologized to Max and inquired about refund. We asked how the cars were stolen and Max said when they arrived in they found broken glass and they are close to the port and that’s probably where the cars end up. We said with technology this is very odd and he said “I lost 3 other cars as well”.

We purchased a 2020 Volvo in September of 2021; we have yet to receive our registration and tags. When we originally inquired about the length of time it was taking to get our tags and registration we were told it was due to covid.-19. In January of 2022 I looked into the matter; I was told by Delaware DMV the dealer never applied for the tags or registration. I have had to constantly call the dealer to inquire about the registration and tags. When I send them what they ask for it gets lost or to the wrong individual. Three weeks ago I sent them my entire insurance policy. My insurance company has emailed them a letter detailing dates of insurance along with the year, make ,model, and vin. Today we were asked for our insurance id card. If I hadn't called them today they would not have followed up. I have had to do all the calling and inquiring about the status of my tags and registration. I don't know what it's going to take to finally end a purchase of a car.
