On October 13th my pell grant and my student loans disbursed to my student account when I noticed my account had not updated with these funds I called and was advised it was a system error that cause a hold to be placed on the account for no reason at all and to call back if it didn't post by Friday, Friday I called back as the funds still did not get posted, told the same things and to call back Monday, this continue to be the case until Thursday when my account was finally updated but the funds still have not been disbursed and they are stating to wait 3 to 5 more business days for them to post. Once these funds post it will take an additional 3-5 days for my refund to be sent over for direct deposit and then another 2 business days for it to arrive in my account. This will put me way past the 14 days they are required to issue my refund. I am not the only person this is happening to nor is this the first time this has happened.

I enrolled with Strayer and only attended a couple of classes, never went back due to personal issues. Now I have been billed for over $700 and have spoken to many representatives brining up the issue that I should not even been charged if I never even took the class fully. Why would I need to pay over $700 for classes never even taken?!?!?!?!? Strayer only wants their money and has no sensibility to waive fee for services never even used by student. If they want students to return, they would accommodate so student would re-enroll; not take advantage of them. For some $700 is not a lot, but for most of us it is a lot. Now it has been affecting my credit for few years, regardless of how many times I explain that I never took classes. I want this balance CLOSED and removed from credit reporting agencies!!!!!This is not an acceptable method of handling a business, especially one that supposedly services those who want to learn.

I became s student with Strayer University in 2017. I have earned 7 grad funds credit. My credit was taken away when I took a break from my major classes and started taking my alternative classes through ****** which is offered for free through Strayer. Once I completed my courses through ****** and began to try and get back to my main courses, I was told that I couldn't use my Grad Funds. Instead, I was told that I was eligible for a Scholarship through Strayer. Once I received the Scholarship for Winter 2020, I was told that it paid for 90% of my schooling and I would be responsible for the other 10%. At this time no one informed me that if I took the Scholarship that I would lose my Grad Funds. I have four courses left before completing my Degree and I feel as if it's wrong for me not to be able to use my Grad Funds when I earned them. Not only that, I was not informed the proper way about this scholarship. I need my Grad Funds in order to complete my Degree. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!

I took out fasfa goverement aid student loans to pay for my winter semester at this school. They are now saying I owe them at first, $4,600, then now $3,200. They are bullying me into payment for something I cannot afford hence why I took out student loans in the first place. They claim that they "overpaid" my refund amount, even though it was exactly the amount I was expecting and signed up for. Now, they are withholding my degree until I pay them this money that I do not have and cannot even use my degree to WORK in order to be able to afford it. That is WHY I needed student loans! To pay back LATER. But they threaten to ruin my credit and send it to collection agencies. I have a case open with fasfa, but they are moving so slow with it that Strayer is going to send my "debt" to collections if I dont pay. I worked hard for this degree and it all feels like a complete sham. Please tell EVERYONE never to go here.
