Their response to a service call on a Sunday was very prompt and knowledgeable on the diagnosis. They were able to confirm the problem I suspected as being the control board. I would have paid the original quoted price as fair and reasonable and provided a deposit. The problem was shortly after the technician left, he called back saying his parts supplier indicated the part cost was double and required additional programming for my refrigerator model. He did not provide a firm cost but estimated it would be double what he originally quoted. Concerned, I called the manufacturer’s parts department for confirmation the next work day and got a different story. The part was actually much less than quoted and required the simple entry of a code, which should have been well known by a suitably qualified technician for that manufacturer. I did not let them proceed with the repair.

I never write reviews but this company has taken years off my life regarding the amount of stress & dishonesty I encountered. If you are looking for a repair company, do not give this company the time of day. We hired Premium Refrigerator Repair to service our Northland fridge which stopped working in May 2022. Charles who was the technician came to assess the issue and inspected our fridge, recommending that we replace the capacitor as well as various other items such as the timer, heater, & T-stat as they were getting old which we agreed to replace for over $2,200 After replacing and repairing all their recommendations, the fridge worked but was loud (they said it was standard noise), vibrated, and started dripping water/icicles from the top vent of the freezer. The technician Charles came out over 7 separate times, each time saying if this doesn't solve the problem, I don't know what will. Loved the confidence but hated repeated results of the issue never being resolved. I asked for a new technician & the call center said they would give me one, I asked who, and they said the same one I was already using. They had every excuse in the book - including vacation, health issues, etc. where no one was ever accountable of getting me a resolution. Kamal Sharma and the company then attempted charging us close to $800 for labor & parts (after spending over $2,200) to replace a drain pan & tried saying this was an issue they identified early on which was a lie. They also didn't even look at the issue the last time their solution didn't work to figure out what could be the cause, instead drawing a picture for the reason for the drip without inspecting the fridge again. This attempted charge contradicted the contract which they guaranteed 90 days of labor under warranty which they were attempting to charge us for an issue they cause & couldn't fix. Kamal kept providing the same lies & refused to provide his attorney's contact information. We are pursuing legal action
