My cash loans keeps harassing myself and my husband (Jonathon Graham) about a $1000 loan he supposedly took out 12 years ago. We have never taken a loan so this is not our debt. When we asked the mediator for a copy of the loan we were told they do not have this information. This company continues to harass my husband by calling his boss and I repeatedly.Initial Complaint

Two of my family members were called from ************ stating that they had documents that I needed and had been returned to me. When I called the number, I was told this was a collection call for My Cash Now stating I owed over 2000.00 from a loan I took in 2017. I have never received, nor have I ever requested from this agency. I was given an offer to pay out of court, I told them to file, and they said they would be in touch with a court date. I have never had this show up on my credit reports or received any communication from this company or my cash now until today. I know nothing about this.Initial Complaint

I got a call from a ************ number today, from ROC company from a Sara stating that I needed to verify my address. I didn't answer the first call. When I called back they asked me for a case number which I said that I didn't have one. So, they looked me up by my phone number. They tried to tell me I had a civil case opened because I owed $4,837.50 to Mycashnow. They claimed that this loan was opened Sep 15th, 2015. They also said that the loan company sent out multiple letters to my address to try and fix the problem. I told the company I never even heard of this loan company nor have I gotten anything in the mail. He then tried to tell me that an officer would try to reserve me with my subpoenas on being sued. I asked well where is this so call court going to be at? He then said I would have to wait until I got served. I asked what was the original price of this said loan. He could not answer this question. He gave me a long number *************. Not sure what the number was for.Initial Complaint

This business called stating tjey needed to do a address verification. They then said I had a debt from mycashnow and was attempted to be served at an address I lived at 25 years ago. They said det with legal fees, etc was $4,000 and wanted to give payment options to handle before I was taken to court. They wouldn't disclose the year it was from, but they had my social. I did very thorough credit repair a few years ago and this debt was not found anywhere. This company trying to scare and extort money from people is criminal and they should be arrested. This type of exploitation should not be allowed.Initial Complaint

Someone took out a loan in my name. I've had my identity stolen and I tried to get the information about the loan and they keep hanging up on me. They are threatening to take me to court so when I say send the court papers they hang up. I never heard of this app not have I ever gotten a loan from them.Initial Complaint

Just last week a number with a 930 area code claiming to be a mediation firm in Atlanta. Except their number lists as a scam on my phone with a location in Indiana. They claim that’s because I have an Indiana phone. As well as they claim I took out a payday loan with 123 cash now on April 2019,but refuse to give me any sort of invoice or paperwork. They also claim the only way to get any type of information is by paying them money. They also claim that I will be going to court and have a warrant out for Said payday loan if I don’t pay them by 7 pm on that day. Now I don’t ever recall taking out a payday loan from a 123 cash now so immediately I call the bank. The bank says there is no record of a 123 cash now from April 2019 cause the accounts been closed since 2019 to begin with. The lady I spoke to was very persistent on not giving me any information other than an old address and bank account. Saying if she wanted to take my money she could because she has all my information. She claims there’s no in person payments claims there’s no website cause it’s a private business, and only wants payment by an authorized debit card. On April 22 2024 after I told her I’m not doing it she said “it’s still gonna go to court and you will lose your wages will be garnished good luck” then hangs up immediately. Their number was 930-243-1835 by the way. My only thing is if this was legitimate why am I just now hearing about it in 2024 why not 2019. It’s been 5 years and I have no record of a 123 cash now or any third party lender on my credit report. And I’ve had a collection on my report before and I never went through this trouble they have put me through. Calling my work and my family, and my boss continually saying court court court. Like I have no problem paying a debt off but I’m not gonna send anybody money unless I know the legitimate details of the situation. just hearing the words well we can’t give that out cause it’s a breach of contract. On 4/18/2024 ******* ********** **** left a voicemail on my cellphone. Saying that they had received a complaint about me in their office. To avoid legal action I needed to cal their immediately. If I don’t they would move forward with legal action. I called left two messages that evening. Expecting to get a return call the following morning. I called (678) 992-5209 was transferred to George E******. I attempted to ask what and why I was being calling. He informed me that I had violated FTC wire transferring laws. I owed My Cash Now an online payday company 1,383.00. The only option I had was to make immediate payment arrangements, make settlement payment of 968.34. I tried to explain that to Mr. E******. That I knew nothing about this. I didn’t know anything about a company by the name of My Cash Now. He had my correct date of birth, SSN and a former employer’s name. I explained to him I hadn’t worked at the company in over twenty plus years. Also advised him the my Identity had been compromised by various companies and a former employer. I could provide copies the notices. He only demanded payment. So I agreed to make the settlement of 968.34 under duress. After making the payment I never received the Release.Initial Complaint

Was contacted 4/18/2024 by Raymond C******* Account Representative Toll Free # 888-320-8168 He is claiming to be with a 3rd party collections agency called Strategic Mediation Services. He is claiming back in 2011 I took a loan out of $685.10 and never paid it off. Now after all these years with interest they want to collect over $1800. I didn't take any cash advance so I was almost positive this was a scam but he had all my information. He had my previous home address as well as my current address as well as my employer, name of my bank and last 4 of my SSN and birthdate.Initial Complaint

I keep getting calls from MyCashNow sharing a lot of my personal information and claiming I took out a loan with them in 2015 that I failed to pay back. I have not done Bussiness with this company and the lady who barely spoke English stated they will be serving me with papers at my home to be in court. She sated if I didn’t pay the $630 and go to court I will be required to pay all court fees and triple the cost. When I disagreed she said they’ll see me in court and hung up.Initial Complaint

Just received a phone call stating they was trying to collect a debt from me for mycashnow said I took it out in 2018 and I never did saying I can pay 900 dollars or they will see me in court and it will cost me over 2k I never borrowed and money from them I looked online about mycashnow and see there is alot of people with similar issues with these people now they are harassing my sister at her business with phone calls and threatened to take me to court and come after my belongings
