These folks are scammers. Their agents misled me on principal payments to the auto loan and continued to take interest on my additional payments meant for principal. When I reached out to them about the exact issue, they said that's the way they operate. They've lost a customer and many more I'm sure in the future. I would like to start with the credit union reporting me dead FOR PUNITIVE reasons costing me thousands I assume in additional charges because averaging 3 credit scores for every purchase and each credit bureau slightly different 5 points or so at the beginning of the century meant the difference between prime and subprime mortgage (not with you) same on car loans etc. SORRY I got ill and legally discharged my debit 25 years ago (and you made at least double the modest debt) you wouldn't even give me a n underpaid job!! Wait until hubby and I post a review on how you rewarded us for paying our car loans on time, in full and earlyKitsap Credit Union

The **** lost a letter in which I had enclosed a check to my niece. So, to be safe, I stopped payment on that check. This is an electronic process. No human is involved. The system just rejects the check if someone attempts to cash it. For this they charged me thirty dollars! When I selected this option within my online account, there was nothing telling me that I would be charged anything. Once I saw the charge, I could not then withdraw my request for a refund, though I tried. I sent Kitsap a chat message from within my online account and they didnt even have the courtesy to respond. We have had several tens of thousands of dollars in accounts there for years. I would advise that you do business somewhere else.Kitsap Credit Union

I have a car loan with Kitsap and they claimed my payment was over 30 days late and reported it to credit bureaus. Ive been trying to dispute this false claim because I have this loan on auto pay. They keep telling these credit bureaus that the info is correct and it is not! DO NOT GET A CAR LOAN WITH THEM!Kitsap Credit Union

Kitsap Credit union is THE worst credit union I have ever dealt with. I have always belonged a credit union and KCU is the absolute worst. I use my card, and they blocked the transaction as fraud.... **************** Ferries is not fraud. I call the bank and the gentleman says I have to wait 48 to ************************************* I can call their fraud services line because they can unblock my card. I call there and speak with a young woman in ***************. She can't unblock my card. She can't even pronounce her words correctly. I call KCU bank back and I get the same gentleman. I ask him why he had me call that number if they couldn't help me. He said we have to you call them, so they know it isn't fraud. He then said he could put in a ticket to unblock my card so it will take 48 to ******************************* I get into the car and drive to a KCU location and get a new card. This is what is wrong with *******, NO ONE WANTS TO HELP YOU. KCU is the worst. They don't even deserve a 1 star rating.Kitsap Credit Union

I have an account for my car loan for KCU and the app is not user friendly at all neither is the actual website but its marginally better. I also have a savings account that was sitting empty and they had about $200 deposited into it when I overpaid my car payment and that money just disappeared one day. Not in either account so Im not sure what exactly happened there or why the money would ever go into a savings account if I was overcharged for a completely different account but I figured it wasnt much in the grand scheme of my car payment and wrote it off as inconsiderate and moved on. I dont know my account number and good luck to anyone needing theirs, they make it stupidly hard to track down and you can not set up anything through the app. I changed primary accounts I pay from to pay the car loan so it paid my car payment on the 21st this month and I wake up today on the 27th to an overdrafted account in my primary outside account because it diverted to the auto pay they had on file and deleted, even though I went in and removed all banking information from that account. It doesnt even have this banks information on file and still went through will overdrafting my account. I call to get it settled and am told basically unless I can make this phone call while I am at work, I have to deal with an overdrafted account until I have time during business hours (WHICH I ALSO WORK) to make a phone call that could be anywhere from 5 mins-5 hours so as soon as possible I will be moving to another credit union to have them carry thru my loan even at a higher interest rate. I genuinely think it would save me time and money switching to any other credit union when this one has been nothing but shady and unhelpful and purposefully hinders the users ability to access their own information and then holds payment info and still utilizes it when you no longer consent to it being used.Kitsap Credit Union

I would not back with Kitsap Credit Union. I had too many issues simply getting a phone call back from a supervisor about banking issues. I had to contact this bank to resolve a family members overdue/deliquent account who was overseas. I was told the amount and was able to call KCU bank and wire transfer a full amount loan payoff within a week. This is where all the issues started to occur. KCU rejected the payment, told me to make sure all account numbers and name was spelled correctly and try again. But during this process I spoke with 2-3 employees to make sure all information was correct. Again the payment got rejected and this is within a span of 2-3 days. Finally, I speak with another KCU employee and ask her to spell the name on file of account, and they had the name spelled wrong. The reason it got rejected twice is because KCU mispelled a name on an account. I understand mistakes happened, but all KCU was able to do in the end was refund a $15 fee, for my bank having to transfer an amount 2 times. Other fees had accumulated to this payment being rejected because of a mispelled name on KCU' part. I would not recommend this Credit Union to anyone. Honestly all the employees I spoke with, except for one woman seemed to not trained to explain simple banking information. Each person I spoke to except for again the one woman, would transfer my call, or could only tell me a manager or supervisor will call me back.Kitsap Credit Union

i wish i can put no stars but i can't, they **** i can't pay online because they don't like my bank ***** Fargo and that i have to validate it, I called and get the run around that it takes 3 day to do, well 2 months later still cant pay online and have to pay on the phone and get charged $25 fee to do.
