I had a water leak in my kitchen that destroyed my oak floors. They came out and mitigated the damage and removed the wet flooring and cupboards and some wet wallboards. They were really helpful in assisting me to work with my insurance and referred me to an amazing rebuild contractor. I would highly recommend this company.

We had a water leak in our laundry room. American Standard provided water mitigation and repairs to wall and floor. The insurance investigator looked at the damage. They worked with our insurance company and the insurance company provided us with payment. While the workers were doing the repairs, they discovered an additional leak in the laundry room. I was told by the American Standard representative that they would work with the insurance company to include the additional repairs in the agreement with the insurance investigator. Received call from American Storage asking that we pay for an enclosed invoice. It was for a couple of thousand more than what was originally approved by the insurance company. I asked if the insurance company had approved and was told that it had and that I would be receiving the money shortly. I went ahead and paid the invoice. Later found out that it hadn't been coordinated with the insurance company. I was then told they had assumed it was but assured me that they would contact them and rectify the situation. It has been more than 6 months of excuses as to why they hadn't addressed the issue yet, but that they would work on it immediately with the insurance company. The insurance company has not heard from the in the last 6 months. Obviously, I should not have paid them on their word that it was going to be covered by the insurance company. American Standard has stopped answering the phone and does not respond to my emails or messages.
