Microsoft through MSN posts current events stories and they encourage you to post your comments. They will not allow me to post my comments. I have zero violations. There is no way to contact them to tell them what is happening. Most of the comments I make are about ***** running for president. They have a filter which lets you know if your post is not acceptable. I have not received any of those feedbacks. It appears to me that they do not want to hear about how I feel...in an open forum...of why I think ***** is a bad candidate. Once I started posting in the past, nothing went wrong. Now that people like my posts, the censorship happens. I want people to know that the so called free speech only applies if the ones running the show, Microsoft, feel offended by someone's differing opinion. Microsoft has ignored me with no explanation.Review from Rod F

I have been going through this problem with XBOX FOR MONTHS! Microsoft customer service no one to contact the website doesn't load page not found for support. MY ACCOUNT WAS HACKED AND I WAS BANNED INDEFINITELY FOR IT. I GOT AN EMAIL STATING IF I CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS IT WOULD BE FIXED. LESS THAN 3 DAYS LATER I WAS HACKED AGAIN AND NEVER REINSTATED. I SIMPLY JUST WANT MY ACCOUNT BACK AND TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE EMAIL ADDRESSES ON MY ACCOUNT. I GEEL LIKE NO ONE IS HELPING ME BECAUSE EITHER NO ONE REPLIES UNDER 48 HOURS, OR I DON'T GET CONTACTED AT ALL. THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM IS HORRIBLE. JUST CALL ME TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE PLEASE!!!Review from Brian B

I redeemed ***** reward points and got ripped off for my purchase of ultimate game pass. Now no one will help me or even respond to my emails and messages! I have talked to 3 different people from support and none could help me. They sent me a link that nobody responds to or replies back to me!Review from Darrel S

What do I think, not *******'s appalling that a company can take your money annually and be absolutely useless when you require assistance and no one does anything about it. Where is the BBB?I talked to several of my colleagues and they all had nothing but negative comments in regards to Microsofts lack of customer service. They don't even pretend to care. Lying when it suits their agenda and cutting you off when you ask to speak to a supervisor/screen share. Minus 1 star rating.d.s.Review from Carlyn S

I wanted to post a review based on a recent experience with Microsoft. I purchased a subscription to Office 365 and am in my second year with the subscription. This past week could not access my word documents with an error message saying it was not syncing. I tried what I could on my own then reached out to Microsoft for technical help. I am supposedly entitled to that because I have a paid subscription. It took multiple tries to get either a phone call back or a chat. The woman that called me back, after 3 attempts, ****** *., was helpful but at the end of the day clearly did not know what she was doing. She did manage to uninstall Microsoft 365 and then said she would call me back, today at 8:30 a.m. to re-install. She didn't. I asked for a call and the agent that responded hung up on me as I was giving her my case number. After many phone calls, attempting to get help I pretended I wanted to buy something and got help through chat. Two hours later I was able to install the product I had paid for. In total this whole debacle took 6 hours. It was incredibly frustrating and I cannot believe that a company is allowed to get away with such appallingly bad customer service. Helpful when they want you to buy something, not so much when you ask for the technical support they have offered because you bought something. I will be looking for alternatives to this product by the time the subscription rolls around next year,.Review from Eric B

Microsoft customer service no one to contact the website doesn't load page not found for support can't log in to half of their services and there's a problem with getting reimbursed for billing they either do or don't but there's no way to know there's no one to contact there's no website to go through and they're automated system just sends you in circles back to the same menu just trying to log into Xbox live or gamepass now.Review from Ever C

I am highly upset that I called Microsoft on 07/10/2023 on the night that I purchased Microsoft Office 365 and it would not work with my PC. I called and spoke to a gentleman that I advised that I wanted a refund. He advised me that I would need to go to the Microsoft site to request the refund and I did and I was never refunded. Until today, Microsoft keeps trying to request payment for the yearly renewal and keep in mind that I have never been able to use this product. I called them this morning and spoke to a woman named ***** that was very rude and would not allow me to speak. She kept talking over me. I do not like that Microsoft does not train their overseas employees how to properly conduct a phone call. It seems that those employees are stressed and just talk to their customers any kind of way just because they do not want to use their soft skills to empathize with customers. She did not even know how to walk me through the steps to once and do all cancel the renewal of the product. For a company that is owned and operated by a CEO worth billions, service needs to be way better instead of getting piss-poor service.Review from Reese L

Does Microsoft even have a customer support division anymore, or did they turn it all over to an automated system? Just reading a handful of the comments on here I can see I'm not alone -- People keep getting screwed over by automated policies with no flexibility, and there's no way to get a fair human review or response. Here's my complaint specifically:Microsoft first banned and then completely disabled my autistic son's account, which has caused enough headaches and heartaches, but then to add insult to injury I'm still being charged every month by Microsoft for an in-game subscription of his. I'm not able to login to the account to cancel the subscription and Microsoft support ignored my email (ticket #SIR18943249) raising this concern.Besides this blatantly fraudulent billing practice, their policy of permanently disabling an account without the possibility of appeal (or transfer of digital assets to another account) is just plain unethical -- I invested a lot of money and my son invested a lot of time into his game accounts, which is all completely lost now. Shame on you for this, Microsoft. This started back in April and since then I've contacted them a number of times (#SIR18923861, #SIR18935412, #SIR18943249, #SIR19337246) but have received no meaningful answers. They clearly do not care about their customers or the fairness of their business practices. I guess we'll just have to sit back and wait for our $20 checks from the inevitable class action lawsuit. In the meantime I've filed a dispute with my bank to stop the recurring charges.Review from Lynn M

I have been trying to download the product Office 2021 that I paid for. When I try to redownload it I get the error message that says something is wrong on their end I need to try again later. I have followed 4 hours worth of troubleshooting steps from their website. At every turn I'm prompted to download and pay for Office 365 when I've already paid for Office 2021. When I try to open Office ****************** to Office 365.Review from David D

I have been using the STOCKHISTORY function in Microsoft Excel for over a year with no problem. Now, every entry into a worksheet gives me an error: "Excel ran out of resources while attempting to calculate one or more formulas. As a result, these formulas cannot be evaluated." Apparently Microsoft has been getting data from another provider (my limited understanding) and that provider may have changed their data feed. In any case, I used to think that Microsoft would own up to supporting their users and the functions available in their programs. I have now found that is not the case. Apparently they are unable to fix this. I've used ** programs for over 30 years, now I find Excel and their support about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. My solution, reluctantly, is to either move to ****** which, at least, may have some amount of reliability, support and capability of supporting their customers or creating my own set of programs to do my stock analysis. Right now, for me, Microsoft Excel is less useful than the abacus I have in my garage. At least the abacus doesn't stop working and display an error message that I have to click on EVERY TIME iI MOVE A BEAD. And NO, clicking on the 'OK' on the error message is NOT 'OK'.
