1 starWinco on *********** in ********** has an egg police on duty. He was checking how many eggs people are buying because we have an egg shortage. I went there with somebody who was buying a case of eggs for himself and I was buying a case for myself. They were on one cart. The egg police snatched one case in the most rude way possible and add it to another case he probably took from someone one else. I said we are paying separately. He said, just one case per household, who said we are a household?! Two people buying eggs in a separate transaction is not permitted? Is it America or a third world country. Third world country it is. I told that person on register #** I can just come back and buy another case at another register, now I am leaving a store without a case of eggs beca Of his stupid policies! He said he is not going to sell it to me. Dumb idiots work at Winco on **********************. Loosing money, customer and respect, a word that cashier new nothing about.Review fromDesiree L

1 starWinCo is the worst store ever they don't except credit card the only thing they except is debit or cash and if you don't have either one your screwed. They have a sign but not really big to where you can see it and the stuff isn't in the right place and it's not easy to find the stuff you need. It isn't organized really well. You have to go all around the store to find what you need. They aren't as organized as most groceries stores. I rather shop somewhere else then at winco. If you need help finding someone there isn't anyone to help you because they are preoccupied with stocking or cashier. I always thought that customers were suppose to be first but ********************** is proving that they don't show customers the satisfaction of shopping at that store. The carts are put in its place and you have to bag your own groceries. At least other stores are willing to bag your groceries but winco doesn't do that they don't help customers take their groceries to their car or help the customers out at all. This store is the worst store ever.Review fromTessa G

1 starAt 7:30 this morning I needed to get formula for my son and the Similac advance. They have locked up and the other formulas they have on the shelves so I took my donuts and went to the register and I went to customer service with the gate was still shut I asked Somebody, if they work there and she replied in a rude voice and said we dont open until nine is there something I can get you and I said yeah two cans of formula and then she replied back to me rudely what kind I said well Similac advance the blue one the only one you have locked up because the other ones are on the shelf and I told her she didnt have to be rude. Shes getting paid to do her job and then she acted like a b**** and other people told me f*** you that work with her and told me to leave. It would not sell me the formula and they act like theyre too good. I will never go back to store and I hope nobody else does either cause I treat them like s*** and they act like them better than everybody but they work at a grocery store.Review fromKatya F

1 starThey now have poles on their motorized carts so you cant leave the store with it. As someone who is disabled this makes it much more challenging to get my groceries to my vehicle. I refused to shop there and took my business elsewhere.Review fromRobert W

1 starI just shopped at Winco like i have for years. The woman at the register was so rude i have decided not to shop there ever again! I called customer service and they were even *****!! I shop in the self serve section because some employees are working and are obviously sick! I don't like other people touching my food. The response from them was you have every right to shop elsewhere! I noticed the stores are not as busy as they used to be and i can imagine why!Review fromWJ R

1 starLacey *** Overly angry security guard engaged with my eldery patient while I was taking him shopping. He was aggressive to over a vape he. He had a hole in his *********** kept falling out. He told him Im so sorry it keeps falling out I didnt know I was holding it but thats not what that man wanted he wanted to be angry. The guy got into the disabled mans personal space & demanded it go in his pocket. Man said he would NOT use it numerous times & the guy still engaged in an aggressive manner I finally asked the guy to walk away & stop being so unprofessional, I did get angry after asking him to walk away several times, we had agreed numerous times to his requests. He then started to say Ill kick you out of hereWe walked to customer service before anyone even asked us to leave. He continued to engage, asst ******* told me he agreed that was not ok & aggressive of the security guy to do my client! Hes 67, has had a stroke, has limited mobility to even try to get away, was in a scooter & put the vape in my pocket once he was near me. The security guard was aggressive finger pointing & agressive speaking at the senior man. Acting like a puffed up badge holding homeless man. He looks very unkept I didnt even know he was an employee. Then when I went to ask for an actual ******* or DM to call me the guy stopped there on his cell pointing at his phone like he was threatening me with the cops. he was the one aggressive and in our space throwing his hands & pointing. Very scared for anyone who is more triggered than me with PTDS in these situation. And god forbid he angers someone who can fight back next time.Very disappointed in this store & the behavior of a man who should be protecting people not scaring the costumers and harassing an old disabled man. We drive 2 hours to come shop at Winco because of the prices in our rural community. And now we have to go someplace else today cause I was too uncomfortable to even stay in that store to finish shopping. .Review fromBonnie D

5 starsI love WinCo! I shop there for at least 95 percent of my groceries. It is a very different vibe than your typical grocery store. They have a huge selection and are always well stocked. It seems like they are stocking 24/7 and sometimes the ******* is blocking the isle but they always do their best to make room, even stopping for a minute or two so I can reach what I need or get past. They are always courteous and helpful. I am stunned by how many really bad reviews I've read here. It is always busy at "my" store, sometimes even a bit crowded but every employee I've encountered has been courteous and helpful. The prices are dramatically lower than any of the other grocery stores in my area. I really want to thank EVERY employee at the *********** store in ********* from the bottom to the top. It seems clear to me that management has figured out something.Review fromAaron J

2 starsI shop at WINCO almost exclusively, as they have lower prices and stores near my several work locations. But I shop most at the store on 21st south in SLC. That store is getting pretty ghetto. I have seen shoplifters taken down by security guards on many occasions. Once, as I was leaving the store, I narrowly escaped injury as a driver plowed into my cart, knocking it over and spilling my groceries all over the road. Still I return to shop there as these incidents are not the fault of the store. I am sure that it is difficult to find quality workers for this "war zone" location, but until now most employees have been friendly and accommodating. But today, was a different experience. Today, I was careful to chose a check-out line with a light that was on. My cashier was a very large, imposing, and unusually slovenly cashier with painted red hair. I had waited, as the last customer in her line, for about 5 minutes as she lazily made her way through the dozen or so items being purchased by the customer in front of me. When she noticed me, she seemed surprised, but then reached over and turned off her light. Then, after waiting for a few moments more, she informed me that I would have to go through a different line. I only had a few items so I asked her to check me out. She refused. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told that he was hanging out in the back of the store. After several minutes the manager shuffled up. He seemed young and had a strangely vacant look on his face. I thought maybe he would make a point to speak to to the cashier about it. He said "I can't do anything about it, she's on break now." I thought he might offer some sort of solution. But he just stood there with a vacuous look on his face. I suppose it is my fault for assuming that WINCO still gives a damn about customer service. I suppose I will still shop there but I will also change my expectations. If I want lower prices, I'll have enter the WINCO war zone.
