    I got a message saying I won a ninja creamie and only needed to pay shipping $7.95. I looked through the fine print to be sure i didnt see something saying Id be charged more money later because scammers do that a lot. I saw nothing on there. Then I never got a email confirmation at all. Then my bank account was charged $79.95 for a model car supply company and I called the number and they said I agreed to pay that and they emailed me coupons equaling $125 (I never got any emails from any of the company names they claim to represent). I told them I never approved of the charges and I wanted a refund. They said theyd be generous and offer me 40% back (what a joke!). This is a complete SCAM and I was stolen from and I dont have money to spare at all. This company should be shut down for all the people theyre scamming. Ill be filing a dispute with the bank also now.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Bonanza and sorry to hear that your recent transaction did not work out as expected. Bonanza is an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers to transact directly. Bonanza does not produce, house or ship any items, nor does Bonanza accept payment for purchased products. Instead, buyers pay sellers directly. This means that ******* is unable to issue refunds, since ******* did not receive funds for the item(s).

    We see that you have been in contact with our team at *******************.

    If you have not already done so, we highly recommend that you contact PayPal to open a dispute for a refund per the instructions we provided in our email to you. One of the reasons that Bonanza requires sellers to accept PayPal is that PayPal provides a level of buyer protection should something go wrong with your order. Filing a dispute with PayPal will remove funds from the seller's account while PayPal awaits a response from the seller, forcing the seller to act. A dispute on PayPal will count against the seller, and if the seller is unresponsive to multiple disputes, PayPal may take further action against the seller's account.

    For your financial security, PayPal does not permit Bonanza to file a dispute on your behalf. Since your personal financial information is private, PayPal will only allow the account or cardholder associated with the purchase to file a dispute. We've included information below on how to start the dispute process:

    If you completed your purchase by logging into a PayPal account:
    File a dispute with PayPal online: **************************************************************************
    *************************************;
    If you completed your purchase by manually entering a debit/credit card using PayPal's guest checkout:
    File a dispute via telephone*: ************** or ************** or online: ***************************************************;
    *Please have the debit/credit card number you entered on PayPal handy when contacting them so that you may quickly locate your order. Say "Representative" to speak to a live human for assistance.
    The PayPal payment ID for your order is: 6EY17002W6505442P

    Additionally, we recommend leaving this seller feedback about your experience so that other buyers are aware of their shortcomings. Here is a link to do so: **********************************************;

    If you are unable to reach a resolution with the seller and/or payment provider through the process above, please let us know at ******************* so that we may continue to assist you in escalating your dispute to a claim. We hope this matter is resolved soon, and we apologize again for any inconvenience you've experienced.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Bonanza. Bonanza is an online marketplace that connects buyers to transaction directly with sellers. Bonanza does not produce, house or ship any products. If you purchased an item from a seller on Bonanza and have questions about their shipping policies or promotions, you will want to contact the seller directly.

    To contact the seller, log into the Bonanza account you used to complete the purchase. Hover your mouse over the "Account" link in the upper left-hand corner of any page, then select "Account dashboard" from the menu. Click the "All purchases" link in the "Recent purchases" bar. Locate the order in question, then use the "Send them a message" link under the seller's username to send them a direct message. The subject line will include your username and order number so the seller can easily locate your order and offer assistance.

    We searched our records and are unable to locate any Bonanza account associated with the email address provided in this complaint. If you purchased an item outside of the Bonanza marketplace, you will need to contact the website you ordered from directly for more information regarding your purchase and/or payment.

    I was scammed out of all my money by someone claiming they were a hiring manager for a company under Bonanza.com! The job was supposedly to help merchants improve their *************** rankings. This is done on a platform where employees are assigned 38 order tasks a day. For each order, u are temporarily purchasing items on the site so that you can leave a 5-star review for the ******************** Any money spent is immediately refunded to ur Bonanza work account, along with ur "commission" (1% of the purchase price). But u can't withdrawal any money from ur work account until u complete the entire 38 orders. During these orders u can come across larger orders which they call "special parcel quests". These orders supposedly give u a higher commission than regular orders (5-70%). On the first or 2nd day, they allow u to make a little bit of money so that u can see that u are getting all ur money back, plus a decent commission. This way u believe that the scam is real, and that u really will make a lot of money. But then, when u get ur first special parcel quest, the item might cost $1000+. So u have to deposit the amount of the item from ur own personal bank account to ur Bonanza work account to temporarily purchase the item. At this point, u are already convinced that u will get ALL ur money back, plus LOTS of commission as soon as u finish all 38 orders. So u make the deposit & continue on the rest of ur orders. But then u get an even higher special parcel quest for an even higher commission! Except now u don't have enough money to complete the order. And u can't get back ANY of ur money until u CAN complete ALL of the 38 orders! But u still believe u are going to get ur money back once u do, so u figure out how to get another $3000 to deposit. Then u continue on......& get another special parcel quest. & everyone u supposedly work with, are all happy for u & act envious. It's a pretty elaborate set up! They have a chat group of fake employees working with u too.

    I opened an account to sell items on Bonanza in late December 2023. This was a trial membership I paid half the cost of their normal monthly rate. I cancelled the membership shortly after opening the account. The membership was closed 2 - 3 weeks after opening the account was opened. You are still able to log into the account after cancelling the membership. After cancelling the membership, I deleted all my items on the account that I had originally posted to sell. I had not accessed the account for around 5 months until I noticed a charge from Bonanza. This was the full monthly membership cost which was a little over 40 dollars. I then researched my bank statements and found that I had been charged 43 dollars every month for the last few months. For a membership that I cancelled, deleted all the items that I was going to sell and then did not access the account for months. I reached out to ******* and they simply responded that they cannot do anything but that they verified that the membership was cancelled. I had already cancelled the membership again after the account still showed it was active. I explained that I had already cancelled this membership had not accessed the account in over 5 months and only had recently accessed the account because of the charges on my account. I reached out twice after their initial response and they still no longer respond.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your comment. We see that you have an active account in "vacation" mode which was last access on June 20, 2024. Vacation mode allows sellers to temporarily remove their listings when they are not available to ship purchases to buyers. This is not the same as cancelling your account.

    Bonanza memberships are non-refundable. If you do not complete the cancellation process, your membership will be billed until cancellation of the membership service or account are complete. As you mentioned you are still accessing the account, the account was not cancelled.

    Learn how to cancel a membership on the following page:

    *************************************************************************************************************

    Information on how to cancel your account is included below:

    **********************************************************************************************************

    Until you complete the cancellation, you will retain access to the features provided in your membership.

    We see that you currently have an open ticket with our team at ******************** We recommend continuing to work with our support team via that channel for further assistance.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have attached screenshots of the cancelling process again. I was not able to upload every screen shot but it shows what is needed.  The only email I have received stated that my card would not be charged anymore due to cancellation.  This was attached to the initial opening of the claim. That i would still have access to the account but the membership would be cancelled.  I accessed the account today to take screenshots and download information to upload to this claim with the BBB.  That was it.  I have not accessed this account prior to 06/02/2024 for months.  I only accessed the account on that date to send email and try cancelling again. Today was to get screenshots.  After you sent this response, I went back into the account again and cancelled.  Including screenshots, after cancelling for the 3rd time, the status still shows benefits expiring on July 3rd. Which was the same information provided in the email sent on June 3rd.  I responded to that email twice, and never received any response.  I think two weeks to get a response is more than enough time.  Again, I cancelled end of Jan. of this year.  I cancelled again June 3rd after accessing the account due to the charges I was still getting.  Between that time frame I never accessed the account, I deleted all my items in Jan. of this year.  There are two items on there that are not active that only got imported due to the connection with my **** account.  So, after those two cancellations, conformation from your business, you are starting that its not cancelled just on vacation mode.  I cancelled again just now, and the status still shows benefits expiring and nothing about vacation mode.

    Hello,

    The *paid subscription* has been cancelled and the benefits expired on July 2, 2024. Please refer to the screenshot provided by the user, as well as the screenshot uploaded to this response.

    Note that sellers are not required to have a paid subscription in order to sell on Bonanza. While the paid subscription has been cancelled, the selling booth is still active and is is currently on "Vacation mode." Vacation mode means that buyers cannot purchase items, however the account is an active account. The booth can be viewed at the following link:

    Sellers are able to cancel their *selling booths* and/or *accounts* by following the steps on the following page:

    I am rejecting this response because: I cancelled the subscription in January. This is why I did not access the account for almost 6 months, and only then due to the monthly charges that were still being taken from my banking account.  If you go to the reviews even on their own website there are numerous cases like mine. Where you are offered a trial to use the subscription they offer to enhance sales, but then customers (sellers) attempt to cancel and there are issues with that actually happening. The first response stated that I still had a subscription and needed to cancel, only on vacation mode, next person responded my subscription not paused, and subscription expiring. It took me four times going through the cancellation process to have this actually cancelled.

    I am also aware of not having to pay money to use their service to sell on their website. This is about the trial they offer, or using their subscription to assist in sales and when you end that subscription or trial there are issues. If there is nothing that can be done this way. I will just add my review on BBB and all other sites to review companies with my experience. At some point I hope BBB looks at all of the reviews and issues people are having with this company. Most of the reviews begin with this company being a scam/fraud company.

    Sincerely,

    I've been selling on Bonanza marketplace for 5 years and during my spell as a seller, I was off and on subcribing their membership programs; I realized over and over once you sign up for their membership the traffic in your booth drop drastically and consequently your sales which is contrary to what is often advertised. Recently on March 8th, 2024 I signed up for their top tier program called Titan which cost $200 a month and thought this time things would be different; during the whole month I didn't get much traffic in my booth and therefore any sales; In a month of April realizing that I was not getting what I paid for, I canceled my membership but was surprised that in May I was still charged $200; I contacted Bonanza, and was told they did not have any record of my cancellation and was advised to do it again which I did; I finally got a refund for the month of May but prior to getting the refund , I opened a dispute case of $200 with my credit card company for service or item nost as described. I was surprised that ******* retaliated by suspending my selling account which I find really ***** for a corporation like Bonanza. Yesterday I was trying to access my account and was still getting an error message; when I contacted their help center, they sent me a cookie cutter message that online marketplaces like to send to those who push back against their corporate greed; the message is as follow:****** (Bonanza)May 26, 2024, 5:07AM PDT Hello, Thank you for contacting us. Our system is preventing us from opening an account on Bonanza for you at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. It is our priority to keep Bonanza the safest possible marketplace for our buyers and sellers to use. Due to security restrictions, our team is unable to provide further details involved with this action. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me but still think the chargeback which led to my acount suspension should have been  clearly stated in the email I received from Bonanza support along with the steps to remedy the situation. If I had not filed a complaint with the BBB, I would not have known the specific reason that triggered my account suspension.
