      I applied at Avenue5 complex, *******************************************************************. I paid the application fees and a $200 deposit. Unfortunately, I was not approved and was denied. When speaking to the leasing agent I was told the deposit would be refunded in 2 weeks. Today is May 18, 2022 and I still have not received my deposit refund from my application that was submitted on April 24, 2022. As I submitted a application for a apartment it should be common sense that I am looking for a new apartment and would need the refund back as soon as possible for my future move. I have called the ************** more times than I can count and contacted the ************** via email - UNFORTUNATELY I have not received any response to my calls or emails. This is highly unprofessional. At this time in life everyone is experiencing cash issues and need the money they work hard for. Hopeful that this post gets their attention. Thank you ***************************

      Weeks ago and for several times I called the leasing office to let them know that my upstairs Neighbors have dogs on their balcony and they connect a hose to the water connection from the property next to my apartment where the neighbour clean every day their dogs residue, all the feces, and pee goes all over my patio and my furniture that I had move aside because already have destroyed some of my pillows, and a decor carpet. I have to clean everyday and spend money on products to take care the flies that go all over my patio at all times and I cant open my patio door because it smells and flies get into my apartment, its just disgusting and I hate having to deal with this situation. Today I had my dog on my patio with his leash to avoid him from jumping, and I went to pick up my kids from the school; on my way back ************************* from the office called me upset and treated me so bad, her reasons were that she received complains from some residents that my dog jumped out my patio but he was tied and unharmed, but she called the police and the animal control. I let her know that I was on my way there but she stars screaming and treating me terribly and unfairly. She said that she will go the legal way because I break the lease agreement, I asked her why she was screaming and treating me unfairly and been so rude. I asked why she doesnt act the same way when I was complaining about the issue with my upstairs neighbord, but she hang up the phone rudely. I took care my dog and I headed to the office to talk to her and understand why she was so mad and rude to me, but she kept screaming and telling me that she was handling not only my problem, that she got other complaints and she was frustrated. Concluding that she didnt want to talk to me and I was making and scene, again she left me stranded with a word there; when I notice, she went outside to hold the office door and draw me out. I was trying to get to a solution with her but she didnt change her manners.

      Please recognize and understand that if you would like to enjoy your apartment and enjoy some quiet time, this is not the apartment complex for you. If you would like apartment staff to help you with anything besides maintenance, this complex is not for you. If you do want cleaning fees, and other fees no matter what effort you put forth, then move right in. Office staff does not respond in a timely manner, they do not care about the concerns you address with them, especially when it comes to noise. Since their building was built for commercial use first, they cannot have nor enforce a noise condition. Therefore, you have to live with noise from neighbors who drop heavy things and wake you up at all hours of the night. I have a service animal that assists with a disability and they did not offer much more than an apology and suggest that I speak with the other tenant. Be careful moving out too, they will not answer emails at their convenience and blame it on something personal and expect you to understand their position when they don't care to understand yours. When asked about charges, they do not respond and sell the debt off to a lying collection agency. Gas is high, cost if living is at a record high and still, they have to get their money, right?Maintenance is the best part of this complex. Do yourself a favor, just keep looking and spare yourself the constant noise of emergency vehicles and noisey tenants that can do whatever they want whenever they want. You won't get your much needed sleep, thats for sure!

      Avenue 5 and Zinc Apartments do NOT provide a luxury gated community. There is not enough parking in the complex for the number of apartments available, there are non-stop emails from management concerning vandalism, closure of amenities, threats to tow vehicles, children running rampant through the complex shooting paint *****, vandalizing amenities, being unsupervised damaging property and vehicles. The management team is highly unprofessional in their correspondence and fail to communicate amongst their own team. I was served a 5 day pay or quit even though I paid my rent a day early. I asked for an apology and verification - and they failed to respond despite their error.

      We lived at Satori (an avenue 5 apartment) for a year before moving out BEFORE to the end of our lease. The entire time our appliances flipped our breakers. AC, coffee, the fridgemost appliances flipped breakers. Avenue 5 (management) agreed to cut our rent by a few hundred dollars a month since we couldnt use appliances and have had MANY issues. They said they would do it until the problem was fixed. Let me say this now: it was never fixed. After one month they said nope, its fixed. This was after a master electrician came out twice in less than a week (the third or fourth time he came to fix the same problem). One time, Satori never let us know, he just showed up. ** his words, the problem would not be fixed until the entire breaker was replaced, which was illegal. It was never getting fixed. We spent MONTHS trying to fix our problem and multiple problems around the complex. They *never* were. Satoris solution was to tear apart our entire apartment (master electrician said F*** THAT, it wouldnt help). The last time we talked to them they demanded rent for all the months they had conceded plus extra. We have been in contact with the **** PRESIDENT of Avenue 5 and still nothing. They offered to let us out of the lease early, which we gladly accepted. Fast forward 3 months after we move out and an A****** of a billing agent calls me the day after our original lease ended, demanding $6,000 from us. MUCH more than what they had conceded each month while not fixing all of our issues. They said they changed their mind and now we have to pay. WHAT. We had fixed this issue months prior and are now taking a hit to our credit & rental history for no reason.Oh I forgot to mention that arson attempt (avenue 5 refuses to acknowledge it but is residents used 15 extinguishers and a fire truck from DFD to out it out. There also no cameras (they refuse to put them in), no security (known *** traffickers have shown up on balconies of si

      These apartments are infested with roaches. My apartment is unleveled and has hard flooring. The trashcan continuously over flows. My mailbox has been broken for 4 months And the parking isn't any better they have a $6 dollar parking fee for guest and residents a $20 dollar fee. Very unprofessional
