I was pricing Health Insurance quotes and entered my information to compare rates. Instantly, I received back-to-back text and phone calls from agents. It is none stop text and phone calls throughout the day from Mutiple numbers. I am constantly being spammed and I need it to stop. Quota Wizard won't stop calling me and harassing me every 5 minutes. I've told 10 people to take me off the call list and I continue to get calls (now from different area codes). I appreciate your help, but I am rejecting this response because it's been over 48 hours and I am still getting called countless times from QuoteWizard. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would like proof I am on the do not call list. I've answered a few calls to ask politely to take me off and the person on the other end of the line just hangs up. This is completely absurd, unprofessional, and I feel like I'm getting harassed. They call me between 8am-9pm ET which is also completely unprofessional. This needs to be resolved, so please let me know what the next steps are. Thank you for your understanding.

I have been harassed nonstop via text and phone calls by more than 40 different phone numbers. The texts are addressed to a ****** for health insurance and a *** for debt management. One of the voicemails said they were responding to my QuoteWizard request. THERE IS NO *** OR ****** AT THIS PHONE NUMBER. I DID NOT REQUEST ANY HEALTH INSURANCE OR DEBT MANAGEMENT INFORMATION FROM QUOTEWIZARD. I have never heard of QuoteWizard until these past two miserable days of being harassed incessantly, sometimes being called WITHIN THE SAME MINUTE from different numbers. I have contacted a lawyer to see what my legal options are. I refuse to give you any further personal information other than my phone number because clearly youre selling my information. I DID NOT give any personal information to Lending Tree or QuoteWizard. I NEVER gave any personal information to either of these organizations for any reason.
I AM STILL RECEIVING DAILY TEXTS AND CALLS AND AM BEING HARASSED NONSTOP. I now have had MORE THAN ***************************************
QuoteWizard and Lending Tree better REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM ALL THEIR DATABASES. I don't care if they claim they need to keep my information for legal reasons. I DID NOT CONSENT to giving my number to either of them, therefore THEY HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO RETAIN MY INFORMATION.

I am rejecting this response because:I never gave any of my personal info to Lending Tree or QuoteWizard. The most obvious proof that they never received my personal information is they do not have my real name, just my phone number. They know nothing about me and are texting/calling a ******* and "***," neither of whom are me. QuoteWizard and Lending Tree DO NOT have a legal right to retain and sell my personal information to anyone.
I DEMAND LENDINGTREE AND QUOTEWIZARD REMOVE ALL INFORMATION THEY HAVE ON ME, INCLUDING MY PHONE NUMBER, FROM THEIR DATABASES IMMEDIATELY. THEY ARE RETAINING INFORMATION THEY COLLECTED WITHOUT MY CONSENT. You never obtained my information legally, therefore you do not have a right to keep it. Keeping it is only keeping proof of your continued violation of the TCPA.
Your no-contact efforts have also failed you because I am still being harassed daily from your scam artists. From 9/16/23 to today, 9/26/23, I have been called and texted by more than 100 different phone numbers from multiple area codes and short codes. Most of these people are aware of their behavior as they send messages along the lines of "I'm sure you've received many calls and texts by now..." which feels like extortion-level harassment.
Your websites provide NOTHING OF VALUE TO ANY HUMAN BEING. You exist just to cash in on legalized harassment. I'll be filing a complaint with the *** next. May the government shut you down.

QuoteWizard has conducted additional research on the matter addressed on the consumers complaint. As previously stated, our records indicated an insurance inquiry was requested on 09/17/2023. The inquiry was through a ****** search that led the consumer to **************************************************, which is owned by QuoteWizard, a subsidiary of LendingTree, LLC. That is why some of the calls/texted received from our network partners stated they are responding to a QuoteWizard request. See Contact Us at bottom of the website for additional reference.
As previously stated, by completing the insurance inquiry form,the consumer gave consent for QuoteWizard to share the contact information entered with our network partners for the purpose of providing the consumer with information about the product and services they inquired on. Even if the phone number was previously registered on the Do Not Call list, the consent voids it.
Our records indicate the phone number is the only item that matches our record with the information provided on the BBB complaint. We cannot validate if the contact information in our system is the personal information for A W as they indicated they will not provide any additional information.We cannot provide any contact information to the consumer to verify what we have in our system is their personal information as it would be a privacy violation. However, a subpoena can be submitted to ************************ from law enforcement or from a prosecutor/lawyer requesting additional confidential information.
As previously stated, QuoteWizard cannot remove any consumer information from our database due to state and federal record retention laws. The phone number has been added to our internal Do-Not-Call list and confirmed with our referral agents they have ceased all communications to the phone number as of 9/21/2023. In additional, it is unclear if all the calls/text received were truly from the QuoteWizard request on 9/17/2023. With the incase in scam/fraud, its a possibility QuoteWizard/LendingTree name could have used illegally and/or the phone number could have been used to completed other insurance request forms owned by other companies to cause the additional calls.QuoteWizard hopes the additional information is beneficial and apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused.Initial Complaint

On 9/13/2023, I provided some personal information to QuoteWizard.com via a phone call from ************ while submitting my details on their website. I was expecting they would recommend insurance providers who were a good fit to my needs. I was placed on a conference call (unbeknownst to me that they were still on the call) where all the information I provided to ***** (and also *****), who stated she was from AllState working on behalf of an Insurance Agent, who would contact me back. She asked weird questions like how long it's been since my roof was replaced. I've yet to receive a call from an AllState Agent. Also, they've seem to have given or sold my information to numerous agents, some of whom seem to be very shady. I have been swamped with spam calls, text messages and emails. Several or all of the contacts have been from bogus numbers or email addresses, so I cannot even block them. I am asking QuoteWizard.com to do the following: (1) immediately stop providing my information to anyone else, (2) instruct all agents already provided my information to not contact me, and (3) delete my personal information from all their databases immediately.Business Response

LendingTree has seen an increase in online and phone scams using the LendingTree name illegally. In these scams, the LendingTree name is used as a front to request either money or personal information. Often these scams make promises of credit in exchange for Advance fees, Upfront fees, or Insurance payments. The consumer can protect themselves by learning more about preventing identity theft (****************************************************************) and/or about how to protect yourself from mortgage scams (*********************************************************).
