Really bad customer service. I really wanted to support Aero Precision, and I do have a 300 BO build with an upper that I ordered through Opticsplanet. The quality and build is great but my recent experience was really bad. I ordered another 300BO upper, and realized it wouldn't be compatible with my suppressor. Within 30 minutes of the order I sent an email and also attempted to call the customer service line which was already closed during the business hours. My phone call with them the next morning, they stated its already on the truck and the order could not be cancelled, and that they would submit a return to sender but if it does get delivered I would be responsible for the return cost. Not a huge deal but even that is pretty unacceptable. Short story, the return to sender went through, the package was delivered back to them and instead of seeing a return of my money to my credit card, I get an email saying that I have a store credit that can be used. That is shady. It should default to go back to the customer's original purchase credit card. Trying to call them is a very long hold. Being from WA state, I was hoping to continue supporting this company but this is a shame.Aero Precision LLC

Hi Noah.My apologies for any issues here. Our standard process is to ask the customer if they would prefer money back or store credit. We have many customers who are planning to turn around and buy something else, so store credit is an easy option to avoid having to pay credit card fees all over again. We do not default to store credit without confirming with the customer. If this happened, it was by mistake. We will be reaching out to you to correct this issue and make sure you get your funds back directly. We would appreciate the chance to correct our mistake, and hopefully earn more than 1 star.Thank you for understanding.Review fromAaron J

2 starsI bought an out of spec M5 upper receiver that damaged 2 separate barrel extension lugs. They don't have a number to call, only a slow ticket system. Their warranty looks troublesome to me as I used the receiver. This is EXTREMELY frustrating. A lot of money down the drain because of their faulty receiver.Review fromMike C,

Terrible. You would think customer service would be available to dealers who spend THOUSANDS of dollars PER order. This company only cares about selling product and never shipping it to their dealers, me in this case. *** holiday was advertised at 15% off top tier, sitewide. Sounds great right? Nope. Placed my order with my sales rep over the phone on June 20th. Tried reaching him over the weekend via phone and email to get the order placed before the presale ended. No response, so we just placed it that Monday. I get a call from ***************** on Monday, June 20th, to get the order placed. He answered the phone a few times that day to help me get it ordered, very impressed. More than an entire week goes by with no shipment update. I call and email my rep multiple times to see if it can be upgraded to a faster shipping time to make up for the very slow processing time, and never got an answer other than, "yes, I received your email".Yesterday, June 27th, I get a shipment notification.I click the link and it shipped ***** ground. Ok, now here's the best part...Expected delivery date of July 9th. Which is days after the ending of the *** holiday. Why the heck would I place a $5,000 order for a *** holiday if I cannot sell below map? Am I supposed to hold on to the merchandise forever like a GameStop shareholder? Absolutely livid with Aero and this new sales rep.During this entire period, and as I am tying this, he couldn't even respond to my email but he can send out four promotional emails every day? "EPC's dropping now!", "M4E1 lowers hit the portal bro, get them before they're gone!". After every email I received about jumping on the portal to order, the more sour the taste I got for Aero Precision. I did a chargeback, you can pay for return shipping or stop shipment.Very disappointed. My old sales **** ***************************** was great. He'd always answer the phone and emails. Ill just spend my money at ***** now on. Reps are way better.0/10Aero Precision LLC

Hi *******. We are sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. We have recently gone through some major transitions to our new facility and this has set us behind on shipping. I believe our sales management has reached out to you directly to rectify this situation. If there's anything further we can do to assist, please let us know. Thank you.Mike C,

I was just going to ask BBB to remove this review because I received some free merchandise from Aero Precision.I thought my experience could not possibly be any worse, but it got worse. I did the chargeback for this order with my credit card company, and the charge was reversed. I get a call from Aero notifying me that ***** would pick up the package I did the chargeback for. I was content with this, because not was not my merchandise. ***** picked up one package on July 7, 2022. The other package was rightfully stopped in transit. Today, I get an email from **************** that the chargeback was disputed and reversed by Aero Precision. I DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE MERCHANDISE! IT WAS RETURNED TO YOUR COMPANY BY ME AND A ''RETURN TO SENDER'' REQUEST THROUGH AERO PRECISION!Now I am stuck with a $4,000 charge that I need to pay, because of Aero Precisions lack of internal organization/communication.Can I just have my money back? It was essentially stolen from me. Really not cool at all.I hate leaving bad reviews, I am a business owner myself. But this is absolutely unacceptable. I have never had such a bad experience with a business before, To say I am disappointed and furious is an understatement. Pretty much speechless at this point. I guess we live and learn.Review fromA. I received a complete upper with clear defects on the upper receiver, sent pictures, and they acknowledged the issue. But upon acknowledging it, they then asked me if I wanted a credit for another blemished upper receiver. How does that make sense? Why would I want another upper receiver with the same issue I already have with the one I just bought as new. I wish they would abide by the Aero Precision warranty. Or have the integrity to fix what was sold to me as new with unmistakable defects. Just as a reference, this is how much cerakoting costs near me. They do an amazing job, I had them do the lower the flawed Aero Precision is on.http://www.engagearmament.com/cerakote/Aero Precision LLC

Hi *******. I believe there is miscommunication. When a customer receives a blemished product by mistake, we will either a) offer store credit back to the customer due to the defect or b) replace the item. We are offering you store credit because of the defect, not offering you store credit for another blemished upper receiver. The store credit is to make up for the issue with the product you have in hand. This store credit can be used for anything you want and you keep the product you have. As an alternative option, we are also happy to take the product back for a refund or exchange. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please reach out to customer service via the ticket and let us know how you would like to proceed.A. S.

Their customer service it terrible and they routinely provide incorrect product information. I can't find a wrench to fit their Atlas ***** M5 handguard. They have told me a "standard" barrel nut wrench would work. Well, I've tried 2 "standard" barrel nut wrenches that didn't fit. They have also referred me to an AR15 armorer's wrench twice that won't even fit around the barrel extension of a 308. Yet, they tell me that's what THEY use.And my first ********** is the most unreliable AR I have. All their parts are highly over rated. Better off with pretty much anything else.Aero Precision LLC

We do apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this matter may have caused. We see a total of 4 helpdesk tickets regarding this matter created on 05/06. It does appear one of our representatives was able to respond to you same day, informing why we do not include a wrench for the M5 Atlas Handguard. To go a little more in detail for you, when the product was designed, we took into consideration our customer will most likely possess this common tool (AR15 Armorer's Wrench). However, we are sensitive to the need for an explanation for how to use the tool properly, seeing as there are many standard AR15/M4 wrenches on the market. I would like to work towards having a video sent to you to show how to properly use this wrench with the handguard/barrel nut purchased. You should have this email to you shortly. Thank you for understanding as we work to assist you better.William P

Almost everything in the business response is false. There were 4 tickets created on 5/6 because nothing happened the first 3 times I clicked the submit button. As far as someone responding the same day? Nope, 3 days later was the first response. As far as them explaining why their R-ONE handguard doesn't come with a barrel nut wrench? Nope, that never happened either. As far as a "Standard AR15 Armorer's Wrench" fitting that barrel nut? Nope, the majority of them don't fit at all. Do I need a video showing how to use the tool? Nope, I've built 5 AR's and have swapped at least 8 barrels and handguards. All I needed was to know the correct tool. To their credit, they did list an AR15 tool which I thought was wrong because I already tried 2 AR15 Armorer's wrenches even though that's the wrong wrench for a ****. But when I asked if that AR15 wrench would work with their **** they never responded.Review stands. Horrible customer service and even the person who replied here has been wrong about almost everything. We'll see if Aero finally got something right when I receive this 4th wrench.
