      I bought a Farm and Fleet Platinum battery with a 3 year replacement warranty. That battery lasted about 9 months, I was able to return it for a replacement. That battery barely lasted 7 months. When I tried to return that battery the staff was less than professional and I was flatly refused a replacement. The 2nd battery was well within the 3 year free replacement warranty. I was never given any other option for a replacement. I had to pay $300 for a new battery out of my pocket. I then wrote a complaint to Farm and Fleet stating what happened. I was told a manager had to make the call about the battery replacement, that was an option that the person at the desk never gave or told me about. Then the customer service person offered me a $30 gift card as compensation. I had to eat a $300 plus dollar battery replacement cost and $30 was supposed to make me feel better.

      Still not impressed. I contacted the Farm and Fleet customer ********************** **** and was told I would receive a refund. I was never asked about what item I had or how much it cost. I received a refund for roughly half the value of the battery and a $30 gift card. I guess it is better than nothing, i never received an apology for the way i was talked to on my original visit. The supervisor that handled the transaction was great and the young lady working the other counter was friendly. The young man who originally turned down my request for a refund was also there. When the supervisor left the immediate are he threw the plastic binders with the customers paperwork at his coworkers and made some less than professional comments. I have been a loyal customer for close to 40 years and I will never return.

      Our apologies, when we first looked into this, it was mentioned that the platinum battery that was having the issue. We see that it is the platinum battery. Please return to the store and we will give you the remainder of the refund. Also, thank you for the feedback on our associate. We will be reviewing the video and will coach him as necessary.

      Bought a platinum battery for my truck. It came with a 3 year warranty. On the second year it stopped working in the northern ******** winter. I took it in for warranty and they told me the battery froze so the warranty is void. Ive never heard of this practice before and after I went somewhere else to buy a battery I asked them about the warranty if the battery froze. They laughed and asked if I was serious. This seems like a predatory practice. That is bordering on fraud.

      I'm sorry to hear you are having troubles with your battery. Upon purchase of your battery and on our website, we state the following: 'A frozen battery is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Car batteries contain a mixture of sulfuric acid and distilled water.'

      Purchased a cord reel on October 5 from the ********* store which showed a quantity of 1. Within an hour I received an email that it was out of stock and the order had been cancelled. At the time I understood that can happen so I let the situation go. Fast forward to today and I received the ad that the item is on sale again/still so I went to the online ordering and it showed 1 available in ********* so I ordered it. Within about a half hour I received an email that the order was cancelled due to it being out of stock in *********. This time I call the online ordering number to question how I could have 2 exact same orders cancelled due to zero stock in the same store. The *** explained that it must be out of stock and when it shows 1 he usually doesn't believe that it's actually in stock. So I asked to speak to the supervisor who basically said "Yeah, that happens & sometimes it's a glitch & doesn't get updated for awhile." As I'm talking to her I refreshed the ordering screen & magically the quantity goes from 1 to OUT OF STOCK. When I brought up the question of bait & switch she quickly defended the situation & said it wasn't bait & switch-- just a system error. Keep in mind that on the order screen where it says OUT OF STOCK it is showing all sorts of other, higher priced items. No offer to ship the item from a store that did have stock (which there were many) to ********* and no offer to ship free of charge. Like I said, if it had happened once I understand but happening again (and who knows how many other customers were duped into purchasing a higher priced suggested item) makes you question their integrity.

Your order was canceled because of insufficient inventory.I am very sorry our online inventory compared to physical store inventory was inaccurately portrayed. I understand how frustrating it is to need an item and not be able to get it. Please know we are constantly trying to find better ways to keep inventory up to date. This particular item is also a clearance item, which means inventory is very limited. Although every attempt is made to have an accurate inventory count at all times, there are times when the inventory count for the online items may be different than what is actually on the floor. In addition, in store shoppers have an affect on the inventory count as they are actively shopping while the order is also being placed on line.Please be assured we never captured funds from your order, and as soon as the online order was canceled, the system reversed the initial authorization, which does take a few days to fall off your purchasing account.I would be happy to offer to waive the shipping costs for this item if you would like to place an order to ship to your home.       ONLINE PURCHASE HORRID!I ordered a chainsaw online from Blain Farm & Fleet Chippewa, which the page stated had the item in stock. After a period of time, I received an email that the item was cancelled. I called them and they stated they had none on hand and the web page was wrong. I asked how long I would have to wait for the purchase to be credited back to my card, and was told if I didn't receive it within 3-days, to contact them.I needed this chainsaw, and am not going to place another charge on my card until this is corrected. I will NEVER do business with this company again. Small things are important, and how they fix those problems determine a company's care for their customer.Do not trust their webpage or anything you have been told or promised. Go to the store in person and buy it if available.

      We bought a water softener from the Blain's Farm and Fleet, *********. The moment it was connected it spread resin beads (dangerous cancer causing plastic) in all our home plumbing. It clogged all our faucets, showers, toilets, washing machine, dishwashers etc. We immediately called the store, talked to the manager, who was absolutely customer unfriendly, said that absolutely no return or replacement of the item. We had to shut down the system and buy tonnes of bottled water to drink and cook, since the plastic beads (they are millions of tiny sand-like plastic) if ingested are dangerous to health! At the time of writing this we are still stuck with it sitting idle and shutdown in the basement because they won't take it back! Not to forget that we paid the store $791.24 for this!

      I had a flat tire. I called Blain's Farm and Fleet and talked to a very friendly woman who found the tire I was looking for and told me that I did not need an appointment just bring the tire in. I brought the tire there and a service guy took all the information and the tire with rim and told me they would call me when it was done. I shopped for about a half hour then had a few cigarettes outside. After an hour and twenty minutes a different technician asked if I was the one waiting on the tire. When I said yes he asked if I had an appointment. I explained what I was told on the phone. He said he couldn't help what theyu told me on the phone and that a tire being dropped off without an appointment would take 3 to 5 days! Now I'm a little upset that the management can't get this straight, I'm much more upset by the factr it took them almost two hours to tell me. Read the reviews. The store is very friendly but horribly managed. Go anywhere else!

      I didn't receive my entire order. When I call them they say they will look into it and get back to me. It's been 2 weeks now and several calls and no answers. It's pretty clear that I'm going to be out $70. If you don't receive your full order you aren't going to. Order at your own risk. It's clearly their fault by the way they packed my shipments. They just stuck a shipping label on the original manufacturer boxed and didn't tape them at all.

      Today 3/12/2022 in Janesville, wi I brought my tandem axle trailer to farm & fleet with a flat tire. I bought a new tire and rim but there service dept would not change the tire out for me. So in their parking lot in 18 degree weather and a strong wind I had to change my own tire with a tire iron! Not happy with their service!

      Upon further review of this incident, I spoke to our ************************* and they shared with me that at the time ************** was requesting us to change the tire there were not technicians available. However they did offer to change the tire later when the technicians were available. I was told ************** declined that offer and did it himself. I do apologize we were not available at the moment ************** needed assistance. Sometimes it's difficult to take care of walk in customers in the moment due to other scheduled commitments.

      My complaint occurred in the automotive department. A PT cruiser was in their shop for repair of a nail in the tire. The young technician pointed out there was scalloping on the rear tires. He said that he inspected the suspension and concluded it was worn out bushings on the watts linkage. (It's a system of links that hold the wheels in alignment with the body) All this evaluation made sense if the body was moving back and forth it could cause abnormal tire ware. We agreed that I would schedule the link replacement and the required alignment to be done in the near future. The first clue something was amiss was the rear tires were not scalloped however worn more on the outside than the inside. The wear was more indicative of wear that occurs on the front tires. That wear may have well have occurred during the last tire rotation. Since I have been a auto shop teacher in the past, I decided to evaluate the bushings by removing the entire watts linkage. The rubber bushing were not lose but still firm and all intact. I took the removed watts linkage back to Farm and Fleet intended to speak to the young tech that worked on the car originally, unfortunately he was not there. One of the technicians at the counter looked up the record the proposed repair. He said he would speak to the manager. The manager did not bother to talk to me. Rather he had the tech tell me he personally remember the car and he verified there was movement. Basically sent me on the way. I took the linkage to another alignment business to get a second opinion. His evaluation was the bushings were fine. I also showed him the tires and his comment was that they looked as though they had wear from running in the front and did not observe and scalloping. Because there was no discussion with the manager who said he verified the movement, I have to conclude they either trying to cover up shoddy work or the auto department is trying to sell unwanted service.
