I would not recommend this cleaning service to anyone I know and care about. As new homeowners, we’ve had the pleasure of hiring various companies to assist with our home projects. Unfortunately, our experience with The Cleaning Authority was profoundly disappointing. They failed to deliver the promised cleaning services and did not remedy the situation, despite being given a second chance. It would be unreasonable to extend ourselves a third time. It honestly feels like this company has taken $580 from us, adding unnecessary stress during an already challenging time. We would have been happy to part with $580, plus a tip, if the company had delivered on what we hired them to do. That’s why we sought the service in the first place. This expense seemed worth it to ease some of the burden that comes with moving. In hindsight, it would have been far better for our mental health to handle the cleaning ourselves rather than deal with this company. Additionally, the last email (shown in the attached photos - *** ****** *** **** for this location) was never responded to, and it has now been over two weeks without any communication. Their likely response, claiming that “this clean was not guaranteed,” seems to be an excuse to take payment without delivering services. This includes not fulfilling the terms outlined in our contract, such as conducting a walk-through and providing the basic services promised in their move-in ready clean. Based on previous responses to negative reviews, I would not be surprised if the owner makes a remark about the frustration in my communication with the company. In fact, the company went as far as to pit my partner’s and my own communication against each other, attempting to gaslight me into believing my partner thought the cleaning was sufficient. I was, however, sitting next to him when he made the follow-up calls, clearly expressing his disappointment and noting that a final walk-through was never offered.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!! Not fully sure what they did in 3.5 hours. I asked for a deep clean for new owners when selling my house. They sent over two cleaners. The house was empty of all furniture, so no dusting, etc. They did a general clean of the half bathroom upstairs. Never touched the inside of the cabinets had to clean those myself. Did not vacuum upstairs, had to do it myself. First floor did not go into any of the bedrooms, hallway, etc. Cleaned the bathroom on first floor again never touched the inside of the cabinet until I pointed it out during walkthrough. The front of the bathtub was never cleaned, the handle and spout in shower had to be re cleaned by myself. I had to redo the toilet as well as parts of the floor. Mirror, light shades never touched. They never cleaned a single window, the baseboards fortunately were already done in the living room by my son because they did not clean any of those. The kitchen sink and behind the sink still was dirty. I had to have them come back because they never cleaned out the refrigerator , stove, microwave and cabinets like I asked. I was charged $550 for a job that I had to go back and redo most of the work! On top of that I had to clean all the windows. I called to complain , was told to calm down by woman on phone and maybe she would be more apt to help me. I was told a manager would get back to me, have not received any contact. I thought I was hiring a professional cleaning business to provide a professional service. I do not expect perfection, but I was told during the initial consultation that cleaners were thorough in a deep clean. I was told they used things like toothbrushes around fixtures and that they prided themselves on details. I saw none of this!!!! Find a better cleaning service.

We have had good experiences with TCA. We have bi-weekly cleanings and only once there was a problem, which was immediately followed up with the offer to have things re-done. All other cleanings were well done. There is the part where they send new people every time, but as long as they clean well, which they do, I have no problem with that. Their workers are ever so nice and very polite. In the beginning their was a quality control check quite often, but that has disappeared. But again, the workers are practically always nice and polite and work hard.

We hired The Cleaning Authority for a bi-weekly cleaning & struggled from the beginning but kept giving them additional chances. Every other week something would go wrong - the spray they used on the kitchen counter would be all over the kitchen cabinets & I'd have to wipe the cabinets down, the floor wouldn't be cleaned of all our dog's slobber, the stainless appliances would be streaky. I tried working with them, but the issue is that every cleaning, new people are sent so it's basically starting over. This week was the breaking point. They do a "deep clean" every week and this week was the bathrooms; they flat out didn't clean the floor of our half bath and didn't get behind things or in the corners in the full bath. The pictures show what the wipes looked like after I re-cleaned - and I had to spend hours re-cleaning nearly the entire house. We are not having them back.
