I will never shop at a Menards again! This incident occurred at ****************************************************************************. I went to the store to buy lumber. I approached a team member, and they said I would have to get a cart and go outside and get the lumber and then bring it in and pay for it. I was buying 10-foot long 2x12's and wasn't crazy about the idea of having to grab them and load them myself. It was 90 degrees outside. I approached the building only to find that I have to go upstairs and find the wood myself. When I found the wood, the shelf was 2-3 feet from the rail, and I have a very difficult time safely pulling the lumber out. I then had to carry it back downstairs and load it myself. Needless to say, I was sweating profusely and severely out of breath. I had 3 forklift drivers watch me pull the wood. When I was preparing to pull my last piece one of them asked if I needed help. I felt like I was going to pass out and clearly had overextended myself. I am not in the best shape in the world and have asthma. I got everything taken care of and went to the gate to leave. Apparently one of the pieces of the lumber was 8'ft instead of 10' and the man at the gate said I would have to go back put that piece back and get a new one. I was so exhausted that this caused me to start having a panic attack. I drove to the pickup area and explained to the manger what was going on. I told him I was not able to go back and get the wood up and down those stairs again. I just wanted them to unload the wood and I would go home. The manager made a smart mouthed comment, and it made me angry. I was hot, out of sorts, and in a panic state. I was less than friendly and kept insisting that I just wanted the wood unloaded and wanted to go home. The manager said I was throwing a tantrum and I could unload it myself. I told him if I had to do that, I would drop it right where I was parked and leave. He threatened to call security and I said call them now. I hate MenardsReview from Charnette M

While shopping within this facility on 10/14/23, I was racially profiled while shopping with my husband. It was raining outside, i had a hat on my head, and jogging pants, also 6 months pregnant. My husband had a relaxed look as well. We decided to do shopping for a light in our house because were remodeling. Upon check out I left my husband with the cart and went to the card station to pay for the items the cashier rang up. I noticed a white woman worker at the door on the phone( later I found out this was the manger). The cashier told me the total of the items and I paid. I didnt think anything of it and my husband and I left. Two security officers stopped us in the parking lot. 1 was aggressive and the other was pleasant staying it was his first week. I was informed we didnt pay for 2 items, I asked how and the cashier rang us up, this was impossible for us to be stopped and spoken to this way when I had no idea what or why this was going on. This is a predominantly white neighborhood and as we stood there I said this is embarrassing as the agrees officer claimed we were stealing repeatedly. He then elevated his voice as he was speaking to me and my husband, directly told him he would not speak to me that way as I was 6 months pregnant. The items the cashier didnt not pay for I gave them back and the Security Officer proceeded with calling the police because he couldnt handle the situation which escalated the situation even more. I called the police as well to get a complaint on file. The white manage I later spoke of, was loud in the store, repeals said we were stealing and hiding items in our cart (this was impossible, we only had 6 items). I called the store the next day? No one called me back, called the security company, spoke with a manager and didnt receive a call back. even the simplest communication could have been better to understand in this situation. Customer Service Issue at Menards, I needed help with a trimmer so they call the expert Bill. Bill walks up looks pass me and asked the guy that was helping me "Whats up? what do you need" with a look like on his face as if , he doesn't have time for this. So I say 'Good Morning" to Bill, he still doesn't look at me and never responds back, so I say it again and he still doesn't respond and still asking the guy what does he need. This is usually when I walk away but since Bill was in such a hurry to get out of there, I decided to make him stay. I tell him what I'm looking for a trimmer with metal blades, he informs rather briskly that they dont come with blades its an attachment. Okay I pick out some plastic blades and tell him this is what I want. "well thats not going to work on a battery Trimmer, you need a gas trimmer " It's obvious he is just trying to get out of there as fast asp, so I ask him well what Trimmer does this work on? He looks on the back of the attachment and almost says they dont carry the right brand but at the last second sees Troybilt. So I ask where's the Troybilt trimmers. So I pick out one but its not in stock and this is the moment when Bill realizes I am here to purchase a Trimmer. His attutude changes. It was if selling an attachment was beneath him. I purchase the Trimmer which I am not happy with but I tore up the box it came in just to get it out and cant return it. Monday I attempt to utilize my 11% rebate but lo and behold the rebate expired the day before. Needless to say I give Menards a D- on my experience. The only reason it wasnt an F is because the 2 guys before Bill were very nice.Review from Kim A

My mom bought a washer and refrigerator at the same time from mernards a little over a year ago. Right off the bat the washer didn't work so they sent someone to fix it 2x. Then her refrigerator went out her freezer part will not work they sent out somebody to fix it. It's never work from the minute she bought it the maintenance guy said it was working and nope will not freeze anything she is 80 yrs old and they refuse to fix it.

Beware of Menards subcontracted delivery service (****** delivery) in **************. I bought $1,600 in fencing and trusted Mendrds delivery. On delivery, the owner of the delivery service that Menards subcontracted damaged my gutters. I have everything on Ring Video. After claiming it was all the responsibility of the homeowner to file a claim, he tried to drive away without providing me with my paperwork. I contacted his insurance carrier. They have been very nice; however, they stated in an email that the owner of *** ** Delivery has been unwilling to cooperate. Menards should do a better job of vetting who they select to sub-contact for deliveries. If you are purchasing from Menards in *****, ****, and need something delivered.. beware of who is delivering it. Do not trust *** ** delivery.Review from Devon M

My family and I were almost hit by a forklift driver while in the store. He drove into the same aisle as us, no spotter, driving fast, driving in reverse (without a load). I complained to the floor manager (*****). He did not respond positively - instead became defensive. The next day I spoke with the store general manager (*****). Instead of having a response, He literally asked me "what do you want me to do about it". I then called the Human Resources department - Nothing. Out of three Managers none addressed my complaint.Review from TJ C

They need to stop posting final price after rebate when you get no money back after the "rebate"Menard's advertises products with a before and after price with the rebates. After looking at the fine print you save no money and the final price is a lie. You get no money back after the rebate, but instead get store credit.Review from Catrenia D

I bought paneling from this location and paid for it and they were suppose to pull it and save it for me as I had a pick up order that said later this week and they didn’t pull it and sold it! When went to be picked up found out it was gone and the general manager Mike was not very nice and didn’t want to help with a solution. He said I can give you an instore credit. He told us to go find it at another store. So now I had to call around to find the product I had already bought drive an hour to get it and an hour home and use my own gas! He didn’t want to help at all! I called to talk to him and he said I gave you an instore credit! Very unsatisfied about how he handled this and treated me as a customer. Truly don’t feel like a valued customer or that he should be a GM if he can’t help people
