Life insurance claim check was issued in the amount of ******* and deposited on 4/10/2024. It was returned unpaid on 5/15/2024 leaving me overdrawn. Upon calling the company on 4/15/2024, I was assured a replacement check would be overnighted and as of the evening of 416 nothing has arrived and when I called the company earlier today, they had no update on whether or not the check had been issued and no tracking number.Business response

Trustage is denying my payment of $1000. For my hospital stay between 11/01/2023-11/08/2023. I was rudely hung on by the female employee when I told her that my insurance paid for 8 days. I wasn't rude to her or anything. I was also recording the call to. I also had a problem with their bank who is ***** Fargo. Which is behind the trouble I am receiving. They had no problem paying me the first $1000 from my first hospital stay. This female I was speaking to knew I was right. Because my insurance paid for 8 days that is why she rudely hung up on me.My insurance paid from 11-01/2023-11-08/2023 they requested this information and they still refuse to pay me.Business response

Need statements ASAP for ******** approval and they have given a deadline to avoid possible denial or delay in approval. Need Statements for ******** approval and requested them emailed. Was told they have to fax and/or mail them. Fax takes 3-5 business days and mail 7-10 business days. They are not available on their website or via email. Faxing and mail are less safe and too slow, ******** has a deadline and I have simply asked for this information via email or on their secured website. This information should be easily obtained and able to be available within minutes. If they would just fax it immediately, that would be more acceptable.Business response

I inquired about TrueStage Life insurance. An insurance Company By CMFC Life Insurance.I never signed up with them.They have been sending me bills through the mail. Now Sending me Past due bills. I called them and spoke with a rep informing them that I never signed up for their life insurance, and that I do not want their life Insurance. The rep would not take NO for an answer. I told the rep repeatedly I DO NOT NOR HAVE I SIGNED UP for their life insurance. He still would not listen. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They hung up on **** have written emails and sent letters to this company to stop harassing me. They continue to call and email me several times a week.I'm being harassed by them. on 01/27/2024 my husband fell and hurt his back took him to the hospital they did a exray a and found a mast on his spin and one on his lung they did surgey on 01/31 2024 to fix his back and found that he we in stage 4 cancer he was fine before he fell we had no clue that he had stage 4 bone cancer at this time he died on 03/02/2024 now I'm out money because of it being CANCER AD&D insurance is BIG SCAMBusiness response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint because I am unable to read a PDF.This business needs to write its reply on the BBB website. I do not know why it chose to reply in PDF format. Who do they think I am??? I am not a business. I expect a reply on the BBB website, and if this business will not do so, then I suggest it does not want others to see their reply. Why not??

I got the Policy on February 28th,2024 and this morning its March 13th,2024 which means Ive only had the policy for 14 days and they have took out 2 months worth of payments and also are scheduled to take another payment on April 3rd,2024 I contacted them about it and the lady said I had to pay for February I explained I didnt have it but for 1 day in February and only a total of 14 days as of today Why was I being charged 2 months and then going to be charged again in April,Meaning I was going to be charged a total of 3 months for a policy I would barely have a little over a month come April,She couldnt help so she gave me a supervisor that basically told me the same thing,So this company has way over billed me Just like most of the Complaints that are Filed on the BBB,So I want my money back and the policy Cancelled but cant seem to get that done eitherBusiness response

2-15-2024 this is a life insurance company that we was to buy but decided against it. and asked for a cancellation . and instead of a cancellation they hurried and put the payment threw early threw our bank and it over drafted our account and i tried to contact them per our bank to get this cancelled after the agent was already told to cancelled it . and to get my money back. and instead i am getting the round around. i need help with thisBusiness response

I have called Trustage for explanation of life insurance monthly premiums increase on morning of 2/19. Once I found out that pay out amount does not change but price increase happens every 5 years from last July, I decided to cancel the policy. The agent I spoke with told me that he would cancel it that day. I told him not to deduct any more money from my checking account. He suggested me to contact nfcu. Since it was a holiday, I messaged nfcu through my banking app.Then this morning I noticed there was another deduction from yesterday. I called nfcu and they stopped the future payments but this transaction from yesterday wasn't stopped nor dispute. I was told to contact the merchant. I called trustage right away and requested to dispute the charge. Then agent said there's it issues and can't do anything. Now I'm stuck with the charge. Everytime I call, the agents are not helpful and rude. I need a help.Please contact the trustage and tell them to credit back the amount they deduct. I have been paying monthly over 21 years and I don't want to lose any more money to this company. Thank you.Business response

Trustage company have a lot billing problems they never send out the bills to so my payment got behind and I keep calling to pay the bill and they told me I had to wait until they send me a from to restart the policy and it made the policy to get more behind so I go the papers and sign and mail back to them I keep calling keep call them to see if the got the papers the never call you back are call to let you no if the have the papers so I can pay for the insurance back pay but I happen to get one of the ladys told me the cancel my policy because of some diagnoses I have which I had since I been with the insurance for 2 years now the told me because of the diagnosis they cant insure me which I had the same diagnosis for 8 years when I taken out the policy the call me and went over everything before they approved the insurance then you pay the money and now they cancel me and would give me my money back but I will still be cover my car until july8, **** the cancel me they should send me back my money they should have told me they couldnt cover me two years ago they made a lot mistakes on the part now they trying to say its something else yes the payment were let but for them to go this long and make of something else we went over a these things they ask me all the questions over once I sent the application in to make sure everything thing were right some one just made a mistake and they just saw the mistake the maid I never seen a life insurance issue that cancel your policy and *** seen you your money back and keep you cover for a whole year later this must be some kind fraud I will cal my lawyer to look into the company and call the insurance commissioner off because something is no rightBusiness response
