      They sent me a letter indicating a debt. When I call to speak to someone why I have debt, they do not pick up the phone. Especially after hours waiting and emails sent, they do not pick up at all. I have no idea what the debt is for and who else I can contact to find out and find a resolution.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint against Professional Account Management (PAM) regarding ongoing and inappropriate collection efforts related to a resolved toll violation.PAM has issued Collection Notice #**************, referencing Toll Violation #*********, with an alleged amount due of $25.80. However, this matter was previously resolved with the Georgia State Road and ***************** (Peach Pass), as confirmed in official correspondence dated March 1, 2024 (Case #*******). The agency confirmed that the balance had been adjusted, and the case was closed.Despite providing this information to PAM, I continue to receive harassing and incorrect notices demanding payment.I request that the BBB investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure PAM ceases any further communication and collection activity related to this invalid claim. I am also requesting written confirmation that the account has been marked as resolved.Thank you for your assistance.

      I received a letter in the mail stated I owe ****** I have an account with Illinois state tollway and I have no outstanding balance Im up to date with a used balance.

      This dispute involves collections PAM is making on behalf of the Illinois Tollway. My father, who lives in ****** and has never been to ******** in his 78 years of life, was being charged with tollway violations in which a box van was pictured with a Kansas license plate that allegedly was my father's. Meanwhile, his Disabled Veteran license plate was sitting on his ***** Trailblazer here in ******. Undoubtedly, when the Illinois Tollway contacted Kansas to find out who the license plate was registered to, they either weren't able to obtain vehicle information or didn't care to. That is their fault - as is their convoluted and poorly functioning dispute process. We attempted to dispute it early on but website difficulties and inability to contact by phone rendered our attempts unsuccessful. We assumed (incorrectly) at some point they'd realize that they probably had the wrong guy OR the actual license plate owner would be found and they could sort it out. They did not - now we're in collections. I have been calling Professional Account Management for 2 weeks every day during my lunch break - the only time I have available during their open hours. No luck after 30 mins each time. My father is incapable of handling this himself (not to mention driving to ******** on a daily or weekly basis). So, I have been unsuccessful in contacting them (no email listed on their website). I think that this could be resolved easily but both parties -the Illinois Tollway AND PAM have embarrassingly poor methods of contact. We should hever have had to waste a moment of our time on this nonsense but I am willing to sort it out - if I could ever contact anyone involved. The level of ineptitude and medeival forms of communication involved have been mind-boggling. It took me 2 minutes to upload photos on this website. I didn't even have that option to try and dispute this from the beginning.

      Complaint Details:I am disputing the toll violations being collected by Professional Account Management (PAM) on behalf of *******. I had an active FasTrak account and used a FasTrak Flex transponder with the correct carpool setting (3+) during my travel. I was unaware at the time that a toll account balance was required at the exact moment of lane use. This information was not clearly communicated.I attempted to obtain my full account transaction history from FasTrak but received incomplete or inaccurate responses, making it impossible to verify the alleged violations. Despite this, I acted in good faith to resolve the matter by offering a payment of $49.75 the total of the base toll charges without the added $70 penalties per transaction.PAM denied my payment and is attempting to collect significantly more, which I believe is excessive and unjust given the circumstances and my proactive attempt to resolve the matter. I respectfully request that the penalties be waived, and my $49.75 payment be accepted as full resolution.Additionally, during a recorded call, ******* ******* authorized me to speak on his behalf in this matter.

      I am a E-ZPASS user. My ********************** was suspended and E-ZPASS mentioned that I owe them around 60 dollars toll. E-ZPASS told me to contact PAM. However, I try to call PAM many times, no one answer my call. I also never receive any bill/mail from PAM. What all I want to do is pay the 60-dollar bill that was claimed by E-ZPASS and get back my account. However, if I can never reach out to PAM, the problem can't solved. And there are many people suffering the same situation...

      I received a notice from EZ Pass that my account had been revoked due to my prepaid balance falling below zero (notice dated 3/3/25, I thought the previous notices were fraudulent). EZ Pass indicated that my account will proceed to the collection agency. However, I have not received a letter from PAM and am unable to speak with a representative after calling multiple times and waiting on hold for hours. It has now been over a month and I would like to resolve this issue. The debt is $76.22 (account revocation fee, lost tag fee) and I would be willing to pay, just unable to!! Any help is appreciated.

      Received multiple text messages about tolls I have attempted to call this company over and over by phone and you cannot reach a live human being. You stay on hold forever. I do not have all day during working hours to sit on hold on the phone continuously. Said he cannot get a live human being. There is no way to dispute these charges.

      I am trying to pay a debt to this collection company. I called about my $52.48 thruway toll debt. When I gave my license plate number to close the debt she said I had two more, and that I would have to pay approximately $80 instead. Both dating back over five years! I asked her to send me notice of the other two debts as I was completely unaware of them. She said they dont do that, that I must have already received them. Because I didnt, I cant pay online, but I could either give her my bank account number or mail a payment to a PO Box for a debt I dont even know if I really have since they wont send the collection notice. I refused to give her my bank account info for a mysterious debt and she hung up the phone. Unprofessional scam in my opinion.

      Received a bill in the mail from ez pass and called to find out my account went to collections since they never billed my credit card on file. $65 Im willing to pay but unfortunately this company does not answer the phone. Not entirely sure how they expect to collect money if they dont answer. Interesting business model
