EZ pass violation Number: T117781812637 Violation Date: 12/02/23 Violation time: 10:46am Notice Date:6/19/24 Verified toll was paid on said date and time with my current EZ pass account.Called EZ Pass and stated nothing they are able to do as its been passed to collections (PAM)Called PAM to dispute charge, and no one answers the phone, in queue for almost an hour several times before having to move on. Who can wait in queue for over an hour....No email, only way to dispute is blindly by mail.If you provide a phone number to call and provide an option to speak to an Agent, then you should be able to get through to an Agent at some point.Business response

I have been trying to contact this company for over 2 weeks to pay a debt from ez-pass NY. I have gotten no letters in the mail so I have no account number to do anything online with. All I want is a call from someone so I can clear this account upBusiness response

Received notice of collection for a unpaid toll fee june 15th in mail. Letter is dated june 7th from "professional account management" for a toll violation for a vehicle/license plate i dont own. Notice states if i want to dispute it i have to contact them in 30 days.. ive called no less then 5 times... Longest time on hold almost a hour.. no one answers the phone. At this point i believe that to be intentional. It almost has to be. No other way of contacting these people. .. they dont have a email address on notice. Typical collection company c*** doing what should be illegal.Business response

I received a notice on 06/07/24 dated 04/29/24 about tolls not paid. I paid that on 06/10. I called PAM customer service, and they told me that my account was closed, and I asked to have it reviewed because every time I tried to obtain a copy of my registration was sending a message that I have a flag on my plate. The customer service agent, told me that I had tolls from 2021 and 2023 that were not tied to my account. Well, I am willing to pay the toll amount but not the administrative fees, I was unemployed from October 12, 2023 until June 6 this year. I do not have that amount of money. I paid almost 800 dollars in tolls to be able to renew my registration. I am also requesting a copy of those tolls, the customer service refused to do it. She said I needed to go personally to the office in ********, I live in **********, **. Thank you so much for your time.Business response

I got a debt collection notice for the toll that was already paid off. The PAM account number is ******** and the Toll Violation Number is T7123987. The a53383mount due is $44.00 but this amount was already paid off to Bay Area Fastrak. I tried calling Professional Account Managements customer service number and I can never get connected after repeated attempts.I think this is a scam but need BBB assistance to confirm. I see over 400+ other complaints from people all over the **.Business response

Ive been cited twice by ******************** for being parked on ******** between the hours of 7-8am on Thursday and or Friday. I intended to pay citations but they went straight to DMV registration fees totaling $700 at least in citations. PAM LLC on top of that also bills me a letter with 6 citations on Salem St not k owing where or how the other four came from. That is another bill on top of my vehicle registration fees. Totalling $1400 alone in double fines. ******************** has really over exhausted myself and my vehicle maintenance period.Business response

I received my first toll violation notice and disputed the balance via email with CASE NUMBER *******. I expressed my frustration at receiving the notice and having to pay double the original amount all because this company was not posting transactions in a timely manner, sometimes MONTHS later, considering I always reloaded the card when it went negative within a week of it doing so. They accepted this and reduced the balance to $741.90 which I have made payment towards. This was in April. Today I received a COLLECTION notice in the amount of $1574.55 (Violation number ******** dated 05/27/2024). Contacting this company to dispute a balance is impossible. I have spent over an hour on hold with them and apparently you can't count on their email responses because they turn around and do something different. Why would they send me to collections when a month prior I made this arrangement with them? I am still getting payment plan notices as well!Business response

I LIVE IN ******* AND DO NOT DRIVE THE *** ATTACHED TO THIS COLLECTION NOTICE. I HAVE SUBMITTED PROOF VIA MAIL PER REQUEST FROM PAM TO INCLUDE MY VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER AND PROOF OF RESIDENCY. THIS COMPANY CONFIRMED THEY REMOVED THIS INVALID COLLECTION NOTICE AND THEN AFTER 1 YEAR, THE COMPANY RESENT A NOTICE TO MY DAUGHTER'S ADDRESS AFTER I CONTACTED THEM VIA PHONE OVER 3 TIMES CONFIRMING THIS IS NOT VALID AND TO CEASE ALL COMMUNICATION.Business response

*********************** RESPONSE IS FALSE! AS STATED IN MY COMPLAINT, THIS COMPANY IS VIOLATING THE ***** AND HAS DONE SO MORE THAN 5 YIMES IN REFERENCE TO FALSE TOLL VIOLATIONS. THIS COMPANY HAS NOT SENT ANY CORRESPONDENCES VIA MAIL REGARDING RESOLUTION, INSTEAD, I HAVE AT LEAST 4 HARRASSMENT LETTERS TO INCLUDE FALSE ALLEGATIONS OF A FRAUDULENT UNOWED BALANCE OF "OVER 2500.00!!!" THIS COMPANY HAS RECEIVED EVIDENCE THAT THE ALLEGATIONS ARE FALSE TO INCLUDE DOCUMENTS THEY REQUESTED--WHICH THEY LIE IN THE RESPONSE LETTER CLAIMING THEY NEVER RECEIVED PROOF. DATES OF PROOF SENT ARE NOT LIMITED TO MAILED VERIFIED SUPPORTING REQUESTED DOCUMENTS TO INCLUDE A COPY OF MY VEHICLE REGISTRATION. I HAVE SPOKEN TO UPPER MANAGEMENT PER MY ESCALATIONS TO INCLUDE *****-SUPERVISOR WHO ASKED ME TO SETTLE FOR 800, THEN A MONTH LATER, CALLED ME FROM PAM ************ ASKING ME TO SETTLE FOR ******, I REFUSED AND TOLD HER I WILL NOT PAY AN ACCOUNT THAT IS FRAUD! SHE THEN CALLED ME A FINAL TIME TO OFFER ANOTHER AMOUNT OF ABOUT 150 TO CLOSE OUT THIS FRAUD. I AGAIN TOLD HER "NO" I REFUSE TO PAY FOR AN ACCOUNT THAT IS FRAUD! THIS COMPANY IS AGAIN IN VIOLATION AND THE RESPONSE TO BBB OF WISCONSIN IS NOT TRUE AND ALL PARTIES ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE COLLECTIONS ACT. AS STATED PAM WILL NEED TO VOID AND DISMISS THIS FRAUD IMMEDIATELY AS THIS IS FORWARDED TO MY ATTORNEY AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE.

ON 6/29/24, PAM SENT A LETTER TO POB 759--VIOLATING THE **** LAWS AND THE CEASE & DESIST ORDER AGAINST THEM! I CONTACTED THEM ON 7/2/2024 INFORMING THEM OF THE FINAL WARNING TO CEASE ALL COMMUNICATON- THIS COMPANY NOW SENT A LETTER OF A BALANCE OVER ***** IN WHICH IS FRAUDULENT! I HAVE CONTACTED MY ATTORNEY AND THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE!

I received a letter on 6/14/2024 from this business stating I owed them $105.55 and it was past due for a toll fee of $5.55 with an admin fee of $100. Upon farther investigation I see this toll occurred in January of this year. I never once received a letter for this toll before 6/14/24 so when I called this business around 4:20 pm on 6/14/24 I spoke to ******* and she wouldnt tell me what the $100 fee was for until I blatantly asked her if its some kind of late fee, thats when she admitted it was. I told her I never received a letter before 6/14/24 and asked to speak to a supervisor because it was unfair id have to pay $100 for no fault of my own. The supervisor- ******* refused to wave the late fee so when I asked if they could tell me the date the original letter was sent out I was on hold for awhile before ******* got back on the phone and informed me they were unable to find it I said yes because it was never sent to me. This $100 late fee is being charged unjustly to me for no fault of my own but actually this is a failure on Professional Account Management for never sending the first original letter to me so I could pay the $5.55 toll. I told the business I will gladly pay $5.55 for the toll I owe but I will not pay $100 for their shortcomings and failure to send the original bill. I do not want a settlement I want the $100 late fee waved.Business response

About May 1, 2024 I received a notice of Assignment of a ***************** indicating an unpaid Georgia State toll issued 02/24/2024. The notice included a picture if a SUV and a vehicle license #.I responded with a copy of my vehicle license #, not the one in the notice, and vehicle model, not the one pictured. I also indicated I had not been in ******* for at least 10 years.I just received another notice that PAM was unable to process my correspondence and I should send the same information. At this point I suspect this is a scam. Nothing connects with the true facts. The letter has a symbol stating member of the BBB and a statement they are licensed by the ******* of ******** but I can't find either to be a fact.Business response
