      I stopped by this morning to see if Jung carried two specific plants I wasn’t able to find at the greenhouse I usually go to. I saw one other customer , it wasn’t busy. A young woman was outside on the phone watering plants so I went inside to ask the woman about the two plants I was looking for, she told me to ask someone outside, did not offer to call anyone to help. The young woman on the phone was the only person I could find outside and she continued to talk on the phone about getting her car fixed and also continued to ignore me. I waved at her and asked if she could call someone to help me, I told her I had two quick questions. She very rudely said, “WHAT?” I asked her about the plants, she pointed to an area for one then told me I’d have to look around for the other plant. I asked if she could check about the other plant, she told me “we Don’t have a list” then pointed to an area for the other plant, I wasn’t sure where she was pointing and asked for clarification, she very aggressively rushed past me to the table, yelled at me and said, “THEY ARE LITERALLY RIGHT HERE!!” I told her she has terrible customer service and asked her name, she again very aggressively and rudely yelled at me telling me her name (I think, Hanna or Megan) and said “I AM THE MANAGER, WANT MY BUSINESS CARD ?!!” .. I walked out and will never give Jung any business again and will share my story with anyone who listens. I should not be verbally abused by the store manager for asking for assistance!

      They sell several highly invasive plant species which are coded as invasive or noxious weeds in some states. So disappointing that companies still do this.

      We carefully curate our plant selection to bring our customers a wide array of plants that work in many climates. We cautiously regulate where these plants are able to be purchased and block orders from states that do not allow those plants to be sold into. We appreciate your concern and know you have a great respect for the environment as we do as well.

      So I ordered A rose from Jung. The rose was 24. dollars and I paid 45. dollars for shipping 8 days later I called to find out where my order was and was told that it was back ordered at no point did anyone contact me to let me know that it was unacceptable. They had my email but sent nothing. I have two acres of land that need A lot of plants. It said that Jung will not get my business

      I am sorry for the Customers Disappointment. On both our website in in our catalog is the following statement! Shipping Region Lookup Live plants, bulbs, shrubs, and trees are shipped at the best time for planting. We do not ship plant material prior to March 1st to prevent damage due to cold temperatures and to ensure healthy plants arrive safely. Shipping begins in the warmest regions and continues as weather permits throughout mid-summer. Please use the region lookup tool below to determine the approximate shipping time for your region.The reason the rose was on backorder is because it is not yet shipping time for his area. I do see that this order has been cancelled and refunded.

      Unfortunately some error on my part for not reading guarantee, however, I've purchased from **** several times and this years order was for quite a few fruit trees, one tree had very, very few hair roots but I planted it anyway and waited because sometimes it takes a while to grow new ones. Well nothing happened and I called for a replacement and guess what I missed the 90 day window. I've never heard of such a short guarantee window as some trees may grow and not come back the following year. Buyer beware of this company because if they were truly reputable they would stand behind their products.

      Called Customer to discuss the problem. Entered a replacement order for the tree that had failed to grow. Our Guarantee does state that we should be notified within 90 days of Shipment if there is a problem with any plant material. We have made an exception in this case.

      I had ordered MIXED BALLERINA BEGONIAS , 3 packs and only got red and yellow begonias when some grew. Out of 12 only 4 grew and they look nothing like the ones in their pictures. One walk around my yard and you will see that I am a very good gardener with lots of exotic plants from all over, so you can imagine my disappointment with their bulbs. I spent 3 months growing them in my greenhouse and trying to get them to grow. At some stage 4 bulbs produced plants but they were very weak plants and have never been able to catch up to plants I bought from big box stores and nurseries. After 3 months in the greenhouse they were transplanted to the outside next to my water garden where they were just a failure in my book. I feel Jung Seed knowingly falsified their info on their website to sell poor performing product.I have zero interest in any of their other products and I know they dont give refunds when its been over six months. I will eat this experience but will let all fellow gardeners know what garbage they sell on all of my social media sites.Sincerely the Crypt Keeper

      Customer ordered 12. ***** Begonia Mixed Ballerina on 01-04-2023 The bulbs were shipped on 03-14-2023 There was no further correspondence from this customer.It would have been nice if this customer would have reached out to us to discuss the problem that she was having with the Begonias.

      My mom ordered me raspberries and they came and almost all but one lived. Great! We also ordered a pear tree. It had no real root and didn't make it. After many calls she was able to get a replacement but not the same tree (different variety and size). I decided to order fruit trees and a willow and a viburnum this year. The trees came with the package open and moss everywhere inside. I gave the benefit of the doubt and planted and watered. I live on top of natural springs and have a pond, marsh and a creek and various springs on my property. I bought a weeping willow to help with water in the yard. We had one on my street as a kid growing up and I know these water thirsty plants will seek out water. I planted it by my creek and watered it about every day too just to be sure since it is a new plant. Customer service repeatedly told me the water loving plants that never grew was because I didn't water them. After multiple attempts to explain I farm, I grew up with a mother famous for gardening, that I have lots of water and catch water too to be resourceful and save my water bill, I was passed off to the horticulturist to again be mansplained it was my fault the tree and bush are dead. TERRIBLE customer service. Took my love of gardening and farming and makes me regret the trees I have because they remind of this terrible service. I was offered a credit for the viburnum and had to pay shipping and handling if I wanted a replacement so I just bought seeds thinking that is the safest. So disappointed with them. I live in a farming community and could have helped grow their business but instead I unsubscribed and recycled their magazine. Do not buy from them. Buy from someone local who can probably order and guarantee your plant.

      On 04-10-23 Customer ordered ******* Viburnum American Highbush and 1-22526 ********************* along with other items. They were shipped on 04-28-2023 and delivered on May 1. 2023.Customer sent email on 06-02-2023 saying her Highbush Virburnum is dead. We requested pictures and forwarded them to our Horticulturist for his advice. It was suggested that customer should prune the Virburnum and perhaps give it more water. Customer stated it was hot and dry there. The Vibrunum was sold out for the season, so a Credit Voucher was created per our Guarantee. GUARANTEE - A credit voucher will be issued one time for any plant materials which fail to grow, provided they have been properly planted and cared for, according to our instructions and we are notified within 90 days of shipment receipt.Shipping charges are not refundable.There was no mention of her Willow ******* ***** in her contact with us.

      Do NOT buy plants from this company. They substiitute another color or variety without asking and send them to you if what you ordered is out of stock at the time the order is filled and ships. Worse, they put the correct label for what you ordered, not the substitution, on the plant. You will only know if you read the packing slip and see the note at bottom that they made the substitution. Or if you plant them and wait until they grow and bloom and see what they sent you. We ordered two Coral Miracle bare root rose plants/bushes. The note at bottom of packing slip said they sent Pink Miracle instead. The plants are labelled Coral Miracle. We have a huge number of pink roses. We did not order or want Pink Miracle. Jung does not normally refund either. They offer a merchandise credit. I called and told them the substitution was unauthorized and they could either credit back what I paid for the two rose bushes or I would call my charge card company and do a charge back on the order. They agreed to credit the money I paid back to the credit card I used. I consider this false and deceptive practices and fradulent and will not do business with Jung Seed Com,pany again.

      Customer placed an order for ******* *********************** she received roses there was a notation on her packing slip about the roses being substituted.This was an error. This message was a carry over message from last season that should have been cleared out, but unfortunately was overlooked.It is Company Policy to notate on the tag of a plant if it is a substitute for another plant.The tag was correct and the customer did receive what they ordered - ******* ****************************** to customer to notify them and apologized for our error!Customer also received a refund for these ********************** - they can keep refund.

      Please do not do business with this company. Their customer service is awful and they do not stand behind their products. I ordered 5 boxwood last year and they were small and 50% dead within a month. I lost 4/5 within the year. I emailed the company 2 times within the replacement period with no response from them. I finally called but was told I did not meet the replacement timeframe with the call. I forwarded both messages within the timeframe. They offered 50% replacement value so I took it. I ordered 2 rhubarb plants and some seeds with my credit. One rhubarb plant looked bad but I planted it to give it a try. The other plant is growing and looks good. 2 weeks later I called for replacement and they denied me stating that I didnt fit the protocol for replacement because it could take 4-6 weeks. The plant is showing no growth whatsoever. What a horrible company!

      Contacted Customer and came to agreement to replace 5-Buxus Little Missy Boxwood in spring 2024 at no charge as well as to issued credit for the Rhubarb that did not grow.

      I truly wish I would have read these reviews prior to buying two plants from Jungs. One of them was beautiful, the other was small and certainly did not look it's best when I received it on April 17th. I didn't want to put the plants outdoors right away because the weather was cold and windy, with rain, sleet and snow for most of the remainder of the month. I tried to nurse the small plant until I could get it outside. However, by May 1st it was looking worse than it had. I reached out to Jungs, for either a refund or a replacement. They would not do either, instead they blamed me and told me that I "had not done my part" to take care of this plant (Because I had not planted it outside when I first got it) I'm sad, because I have had total respect for Jungs, and had bought many plants from them throughout the years. Because of their poor customer service, I will NEVER purchase from them again. There are plenty of companies out there that truly do guarantee their plants. I will use them.
