Do not make the mistake that I did by hiring Villa Building Maintenance/Economy Building Maintenance/******************** I hired ***** from Economy Building Maintenance, also known as Villa Building Maintenance with website: ******************** to repair my gutters. He responded quickly to my request and came the same day. But that was the only positive experience with him. He quoted me $1300 for cleaning and repairing all the gutters and another $200 for roof patch work which he also screwed up.He acted very nice and honest but he turned out to be a rip off artist. He only addressed a few leaking spots and left several areas untouched. (I only found out when I checked some of the gutters that I could reach, after he left in a hurry. Despite this incomplete job, he still charged me the full amount.When I called ***** he promised to return and finish the work, but now he has not answered my calls or responded to my messages since. He is missing in action. I wish I had read the reviews on him first. ****** learned!! I strongly advise against hiring this business. They are unreliable and unprofessional. Save your money and avoid the frustration do not hire *****. He goes by the names Economy Building Maintenance, Villa Building Maintenance or ********************. I hope which ever God he believes in, if any, that He have mercy on *****. Karma will prevail... I am sure I am not the only one that he has ripped off.

After attempting to fix a **** apparently from the roof, dripping into several rooms in the house, the owner of this business recommended complete replacement of the back roof.Soon after the leak continued after he was paid more than 10K. We called him back and he finally came and saw gaps in the new roof he replaced. We had inspectors in that took photos and saw daylight in several places from the attic.On coming back, the owner said he was going to get items to fix the gaps in the roof. He never came back and refused to respond to phone calls over several weeks. Meanwhile the leaks continued. I finally called his phone from a separate phone number and he picked the call. He was obviously avoiding my call.He says he was sorry but he couldnt afford to fix the poor roof job and leaks into my house. He never called again, came back or refunded the 10K payment. He says something about losing his license, so couldnt work anymore but I didnt believe him.We have since have several contractors in for a proper diagnoses and to fix the leaks, costing us several thousands of dollars.

Really fantastic service full team was very professional, friendly, on time and did an absolutely fantastic job. They were also easy to get ahold of and very responsive. They were working on two skylights at double ceiling height and completed the job to a high standard they really know the product and what he is doing. We would highly recommend Villa and will definitely use them again.

Villa replaced two broken vents for me and fixed my leak, Very happy with the service and price

My wife contacted Villa Building Maintenance to assess a possible issue with our skylight. Their employee showed up and recommended that we replace the skylight as it was cracked and was >20 years old. We agreed with his recommendation and he advised us that it would cost $1,350 to purchase and replace the skylight. We also asked that he have a look at the roof while he was up there and quote us on the costs of any recommended maintenance; he provided us some pics of things to be fixed and quoted us a price of $1,100. After he left I researched the cost of the skylight he purchased which was approx. $300 ** **** *****. Which means he charged us $1,050 for his couple of hours of labour. I should have researched the costs in advance of providing my approval to replace. I had a reputable roofing (A+ BBB registered) company come to my house to quote me a price for the maintenance work that Villa was going to charge me $1,100 and their estimate was $500 (they also mentioned to me that their cost to replace the skylight would have been between $600 and $800 depending on the skylight purchased). I feel, based on my experience, that Villa has taken advantage of me and was trying to do so again with the maintenance work so I am writing this review to share my experience with others so they have awareness of my experience. As the old saying goes ... 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.' Needless to say Villa will never do work at my place again and will not be recommended by me to any of my neighbours, friends, or family.

He left the garbage on the roof and on the ground, he just failed to clean up the mess that he made....They broke a driveway light and did not seem to care about it...** *** * ***** *******...his work was not even near a 100%....** ** *** ** ****** ******, as he said he would clean up after the cheque was cashed and he then said he would not have time now to come and clean up because he said he did not know when he would be back in Burnaby, he said maybe next month...such a man should not do these things to paying customers...he also said that l did not pay on time, which was a LIE...he was given a cheque on friday and on Saturdat when he left....
