    *************************************************************** ************************ I was in discussions with her about my wedding cake and through poor communication, transferred her $20 MORE then her asking price. Over the next few days I sent her 2 different e-transfers to try to provide her the correct amount. However, due to the bad communication, mainly on the cake owner's end, she decided to punish me and changed the original price that we had agreed upon, in addition to upping the price by $40 if I sent her an e-transfer the next day. This came without any warning and proper communication.
    Through back and forth communication to understand the price differences, I was blamed for the poor communication between us instead of her finding an appropriate solution to resolve what should have been a minor issue. *************************************************************** **************. The cake lady was very nice until she completely switched on me and became the ************** business owner that I am reporting on today.

    The customer gave us a hard time during the order ( during May - September 2022) time lengths. And failed for the late payment 1 week before the wedding.

    I was not in communication with Trang the owner of Sugar Peony in May 2022 (July - September 2022 are future dates), our email conversation started on June 10th until June 17th. My wedding was also June 25th, meaning we were in communication 2 weeks and more before my wedding. I have email conversations to prove this.

    On June 10th I sent Trang an e-transfer for $490. Over the next 2 days, we decided on the amount of $470 and we're figuring out how to give me the extra $20 back. We had decided that I would fix the e-transfer. On June 16th, Trang emailed me asking to confirm payment, I emailed back saying I would the next day. I sent her another e-transfer for $465. I had forgotten about the agreed upon $470 amount as we had over 20 emails at this point. Upon Trang's next email, I quickly made the fix to the e-transfer for the right amount, however, due to my human error which was not an attempt on my part to pay her less then what she was owed, Trang decided to charge me $8 more, without warning and over $40 more if I gave her payment the next day. The issue is all of this came without warning and clear communication. It was also done out of spite and punishment since Trang blames me for her missing out on 2 cake orders while waiting to confirm mine.

    I was never rude or difficult as I can prove in my email interactions with Trang. It is also not rude or difficult to ask why there has been a sudden price increase without warning. I also informed Trang that I would be posting a ****** Review and reporting her to the Better Business Bureau, which is where we are now. I also informed her, that I would not be replying to anymore emails from her as there was nothing left to discuss. I got 2 emails back from Trang that can easily be classified as ********** as they had pictures to mock me, and Trang called me a "BIG MOODY" and a "Kevin" which I can only assume was an attempt to call me a "Karen".

    Trang created a problem that was non-existent and/or could have been solved quickly and easily. Instead she decided to attack me, and punish me over what I consider miscommunication and basic human error.

    I truly hope Trang can reconsider her business practices as she does make excellent cakes, but I do not appreciate the utterly unprofessionalism 2 weeks before my wedding.
