    I was double charged for a surgical procedure by Women4Women and have not been issued a refund. I had the procedure more than 12 months ago in January 2023, but have been in a back an forth with the billing department mainly since December 2023. Back in January 2023, I was charged $1100 to my credit card for a surgery that was then billed to and covered by my HSA. When I called for a refund, they told me it would take several months, and to not call back, they would call ME when my refund was available to see if I wanted it mailed or for pick up. I waited patiently until the end of the year and when I was fed up, I called again in December only to be told they had no record of my refund and they had changed who was in charge. The nice lady then boldy lied to me and said I would have my money in 6-8 weeks. It is now just hours before MARCH 1ST well over the promised timeline. I have called since then just to be put off, dismissed, and lied to by members of the billing *********** me false deadlines. I am very patient and polite with these team members as I know they are humans too, but I am simply done waiting around and have chosen to take action against this business. It is embarrassing to keep someone waiting this long for a refund, and worse to continue to lie about when it is coming and move the deadline each time I call.

    A NIGHTMARE THAT COULD AFFECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE. I receive VA *********** directly through the *******************************. I selected Women4Women for a VA ************** referral for gynecology. At that time, Optum was scheduling the appointments and sending the referral/billing instructions to the referred provider. When I took off work and went to my initial appointment at Women4Women, that was scheduled by Optum, I asked the receptionist if they had the billing instructions. I wanted to ensure that they knew how to **** the VA for veterans who are referred through VA **************. The receptionist informed me that they did NOT have the billing instructions on file so I asked to reschedule my appointment because there was no way I was going to be seen as a referral from VA ************** if they didn't know how to ****. So I rescheduled an appointment for late April 2021 and contacted Optum to request that they send the billing instructions again. A day or two before my rescheduled appointment, I called Women4Women to ensure they had at last received the billing instructions from the VA. The receptionist on the phone said they did indeed have the billing instructions so I went to my one-and-only appointment at Women4Women.Eight months later in January 2022, I received a **** from Women4Women stating that their claim with the VA was denied and that I was responsible for paying for my appointment. I called the VA and was informed that Women4Women failed to **** within the six-month window in which medical providers are required to ****. After a few back and forth phone calls with the VA over the course of ~6 weeks, the VA rep informed me that not even insurance companies will pay after six months and that medical providers know this and know that its the providers responsibility to **** before the 6-month window expires. She then said that Women4Women will most likely write-off the balance on my account. I logged into my patient portal for Women4Women and
