I kept getting notices that I was not on their cheapest plan and that I could save money by switching so I did. IMMEDIATELY my bill was increased, so I called and spoke with someone that just lied to me and said it was just a catch up???, now months later the bill is still higher than it ever was before and I can't change back. This should be illegal.

APS is a scam, and are price gouging, taxes and fees change monthly, makes it pretty difficult to budget never had this problem with SRP, it's a shame that you can't choose a utility company depending on where in the valley you live

Ive called multiple times to see how my bill is the same amount as a 4 person household (I have 1 person in my house, wfh, and at 4 p.m. Im usually gone to the gym so Im not using power). Somehow almost every month my bill is the same as my friend who has 4 people in her household. Im pretty sure they are just estimating and averaging everyones bill.

APS is a total SHAM. I have Solar Panel that I have leased through ***** since 2017. My monthly payment is $120.00 a month, so it's affordable. I still had to pay APS their silly taxes and fees of around $28.00 that they charge, even though I wasn't actually using any of THEIR electricity. In the Summer APS did charge me an additional charge for using a little bit of their power, because the Solar company must allot you only so many Kilowatts per month and when those run out, you are forced to use APS's. Usually I only had to pay about an extra $30 per month during the Summer months May, June, July, August. So I paid $120 +$28=$148 for 8 months of the year and $120+28+30=$188 for 4 months of the year. This last Summer of 2024 APS made changes to s**** SOLAR CUSTOMERS over by adding extra charges to our bills because we were saving too much money having Solar Panels and APS just had to find a loophole to charge us more! Now we have a Solar Rooftop charge and even higher taxes and fees plus other bogus fees added. So this Summer of 2024 my bill was $120 for Solar and over $200 for APS! Mind you, I'm the only person in the home and I work full-time so I'm not home all day. During this Winter I'm having a nice window Air Conditioner installed through the wall with ****** BTU'S in my family room, and a ****** BTU in a back bedroom. I will not be running my 4 ton rooftop A/C next Summer. APS is a terrible, money grubbing company without any shame

The company charges such expensive prices. We decided to get solar. To activate our solar that is installed we had to wait up 10 business days. Well the 10 business days came and went and i was going to call on Monday to see why the tech didnt do his job. Then while Im running errands in town on Saturday morning, I get a notification theres someone at my door. Oh guess who, the APS tech that is there on a weekend. Huh, not business day. He couldnt do his job because I wasnt there. So now we have to wait even longer to get our already installed solar turned on. Im sure, with great assumption, that the new tech will come back on the 10th business day.

My family and I lived in *******, ** and built a certified energy star home. That made no deference and we had never seen such high electric bills. We went as fare as switching up how and when we used are A/C units and nothing we did made any difference or helped. We kept our temp set at 78 all day and turn down the A/C to 76 at night. Then we tried setting the A/C to 80 all day and again turning it down at night to 76. We thought ok this is going to make a big difference in our next bill. Please listen to those who are thinking of moving to AZ think twice and stay away. The cost of living in AZ is outrageous and APS energy cost is offensive. every bill was between 450 and at times close to 600 every month. Why, and how does the State of AZ allow this to take place. This is not right. This gets better. Remember AZ can stay in the 100s all the way up to Halloween and that is no joke. Its as if you just do not get a break. From the high cost of living, the high cost of APS energy bills. The State of AZ is allowing APS to get away with muscling the consumer and taking advantage of them.

Today I received service from a lovely lady named ******. She went above and beyond to help me, to make sure that I was valued, and heard, she gave me all kinds of options and even helped me in my current rock and a hard place situation. at the end of the day, we have to remember that these people are human too, and there are individuals that stand out for going above and beyond helping people. She restored my faith in people. Thank you, ****** for all that you did to help me in my times of struggle!

APS IS A SCAM THEY CHARGE YOU MORE IN DUMB FEES THAN THEY DO IN YOUR OWN ELECTRIC USE. THEN YOU GET BEHIND BECAUSE OF THEIR CRAZY CHARGES AND THEY MAKE YOU PAY IN PERSON FOR A WHOLE YEAR INCLUDING MORE FEES JUST TO PAY IN PERSON AND MAKE EVERYONES LIVES MORE COMPLICATED. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND SHOULD BE LOOKED AT AS WE ARE FORCED TO USE THEM IN SPECIFIC AREAS. THIS SEEMS CRIMINAL TO CHARGE SUCH RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS AND THEY HAVE ALL BAD REVIEWS NOT ONE GOOD ONE. STOP FORCING US TO PAY DUMB FEES AND FORCE US TO USE THEIR SERVICES. SRP DOESNT DO THIS!

APS is price gauging all of us here in the state of Arizona and unless a petition gets out there to try and do something about this nothing will be done. I have solar and am still paying over $200 bills on a 1500 square foot home keeping the thermostat at 81 degrees, and this c*** about being on a 4pm-7pm plan is just ridiculous, this is when people are home from work and cooking and need to use more power, these so-called plans to save you money are Bull Crap!!!!Something needs to be done!!!!
