I will start by saying APS is affordable, which is a good thing. However, they are NOT good at processing online payments. They say they had to return your payment because it couldn't be processed out of my bank account. BUT when I log into my bank account there is ALWAYS enough funds to be seen for my bill to be paid. However, no matter how hard I've tried, APS can't be reasoned with. They only care about what they see. Anything you say is ignored. I now have to pay in cash all the time because they can't get it together. The only reason they have 2 starts instead of one is because they apparently have the decency to not shut off your power in the summer here in AZ even though you have what THEY call "late payments." I put that in quotes for a reason. This circumstance I am in is something that has been done to me by APS multiple times.

Constant power outages in ******** with no reasons given to as why. It's essential homes have power to cool in the Summer heat, and yet that's when they SCHEDULE power outages as well

Im not one to write BBB complaints in fact I believe this is my first. APS charged me for electricity usage for a property that I didnt own or have possession of. Regardless of the proof and documentation showing that I had zero access and responsibility/ownership to the property. The lack of empathy and broken policy did not allow the workers at APS to not charge me. I was charged late fees and required to pay for about 4 months of service for a property I had no ownership over. Even though this was clear as day and was clearly documented I could mot get pro rated or get the fees removed. Had this been mentioned to me when I stated service at my new home I wouldve canceled it the same day. Instead I was not told and APS continued to bill me.This is wrong and bad business.

Unexpected charges! I have solar for 5 years never paid more than $35. All of a sudden my bill is $140. APS said for some reason my solar completly stopped producing for 2 months then miraculously, after I called them to complain & have them figure out why, it just started working again all by itself! I'm no electrician or solar tech, but this is very fishy! Solar doesn't just stop producing entirely then miraculously just start producing like nothing was ever wrong. If there are others out there with solar experiencing the same thing we need to get together & fight the APS machine! It cost me $270 that they have no intention of making right! If they are doing this to every solar customer they are making some serious bank. We have no recourse as APS simply states that it's your problem to prove not ***** ********* nothing you can do about it!If there are solar experts/electricians out there that can explain how solar can just not work for 2 months then miraculously start working with no assistance from anyone please contact me!Thinking of class action as I was told by someone in the corporation commission that this situation has been reported to them by many solar customers!

Profit pursuit and punishing individual consumers while not substantially investing in or subsidizing an abundant relatively free resource center while subsidizing traditional fossil fuel power is a travesty and oligopoly behavior at its finest. They will incentivize cool rewards.
