I bought my blendjet blender from ******. It came in a pack of 2. Both were in the massive recall because the batteries could catch on fire. I did everything the company asked me to do so they could send me replacements. I then waited for my replacements. I never got them. I reached out to the company and they told me to keep waiting and will send me them when they have some to send. But of course I still get emails to buy the blendjet on their website. If they can still be selling them. They need to replace the ones I bought since it was their recall on their itemInitial Complaint

Blendjet had a general recall: This was the letter I received from ****** (also received one from Costco).Recalled item: BlendJet 2 Portable Blenders Recall description: The recalled blenders can overheat or catch fire and the blender blades can break off posing fire and laceration hazards to consumers What to do next:** you have already received this item, please stop using it immediately and contact BlendJet at ************ for a free replacement of the BlendJet 2 base unit For more information about this recall, visit our Product Recalls help page or Product **************** page ** this item was given to someone else, please notify the recipient as soon as possible and provide the links above I have reached out to Blendjet twice within the last 12 months with the same response stating there is a supply chain issue. Given the length of time since the recall I am stating this is bad faith on Blendjets part. They have had ample time since 2024. I have submitted my replacement request dated January 9, 2024 with Order #******* and #******* for two separate units. This has been over a year and 4 moths with no resolution. My blenders have been rendered unusable as Blendjet requested we showed proof of the destroyed recalled part via photo. I am requesting BBB to help render a solution to this problem. My Blendjet 2 was part of a recall and had to make the Blendjet 2 inoperable and send pictures to the company to verify for replacements parts to be sent. I've contacted Blendjet 3 times over the issues my product was having. The issues were the base wouldn't hold a charge nor would it blend. I've tried troubleshooting the problems like they say to on their website to no avail. Each time I've contacted them, their automated system contacted back. I purchased a BlendJet blender that was recalled in January of 2024. I was given instructions to break and send pictures of parts and they would send replacement parts to make it safe to use. The parts have yet to be shipped. I have contacted them twice since the recall and have been given generic answers and was told they are still working to get replacement parts. I see that they sell new ones all the time but haven't taken care of the original problem yet. I never got to use my BlendJet before the recall happened. On November 22, 2023, I purchased two BlendJet 2 portable blenders on sale at ****** for a total of $54.65, excluding taxes and fees. I later received an email notification that certain BlendJet blender bases were being recalled. A link was provided to check if the blenders I purchased were impacted. One of the two blenders was impacted, and I followed the prompts provided by BlendJet to order a new replacement base. I was instructed to cut the rubber lining before disposing of the base. Proof of this step was required in order to process the replacement order, which I placed on January 11, 2024. That day, I received an email confirming that my order is being processed (order #*******). Below is the timeline of events that followed:January 15, 2024: I received an email stating that the order was delayed March 2, 2024: I contacted ********************************** to get an update on the replacement March 5, 2024: I received a response from BlendJet stating that there were supply chain issues causing the delays but that I should expect to receive a base "as soon as possible"June 25, 2024: Still haven't received the base. I write a follow up to BlendJet, this time requesting a refund June 25, 2024: BlendJet responds that they don't issue refunds. Per BlendJet, "we experienced some unforeseen issues in our supply chain, however replacement base kits have started shipping out in early March. We are working to try to get the replacement base kit out to you but we are unable to provide you with a timeframe on when it will be delivered."April 11, 2025: Almost ******************************************************************************************* a refund.I am kindly requesting your assistance in resolving this matter. The desired resolution is the delivery of the replacement base, as promised by BlendJet. I purchased a pair of Blendjet 2's from ****** in September of 2023. In mid 2024 I received word that one of the blendjets was being recalled due to issues with the base kit igniting. I promptly reached out to Blendjet and placed an order for a replacement kit via their website. Blendjet sent out a notice in 2024 telling us that their personal blendjets had issues. If I remember correctly, it was a problem with the blades, possibly breaking. I sent in a request to have two of them replaced because I had to blendjets with the bad parts. This happened in January of ******* November of 2024, I sent them another email asking when the replacements would arrive. Below is the response I received from them I have not heard from them since. It's been over a year now.
