Business representative won't stop contacting me. ******* ******** was declined his offer for debt consolidation, became insulting and gave a backhand insult. He was told once to stop harassing me and three times to stop contacting me. Then he tried to turn it on me and told me to stop contacting me, which I did. Is this the way Americor does business? To harass people who decline their services?Business Response

I reached out to Americor in an effort to assist me with some credit debt that I owe. We both agreed that they would withdraw from my account on the 3rd and 17th of each month an amount of ****** twice per month totaling ******. Three to four times now they have broken their agreement and has taken from my account earlier than agreed and has caused an over draft in my account each time. I have reached out to Americor twice to request that they desist from continuing this practice. I was promised that it would have been looked into and have it stopped. To date it is still continuing and again have caused another overdraft in my account. ********************** has displayed a total disregard to the challenges they cause and continues their practice of early withdrawal which put me at a grave disadvantage. I solicited their assistance to help me save money, however the opposite is occurring as they are causing me to lose money.Business Response

Americor Funding, LLC (Americor) is in receipt of ***************************************** 22363184. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to his concerns. By way of background, the customer enrolled and executed a Debt Resolution Agreement on June 28, 2024. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. ******** concerns and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Mr. ******* enrolled in Americors Debt Resolution Program on June 28, 2024, with four debts totaling $10,083.00 and agreed to make bi-monthly deposits of $125.16 into a third-party account, scheduled for the 3rd and 17th of each month.
At the time of enrollment, ********** was provided with a Deposit Schedule that incorrectly reflected the deposit dates. On August 1 and October 1, 2024, withdrawals were made from Mr. ******** account.Although these dates were part of the initial schedule and no objections were received, we realize this was an error. Upon receiving Mr. ******** complaint,we conducted an internal investigation and discovered that the deposits should have been scheduled for the 3rd and 17th of each month, as originally intended. We regret this oversight and have since corrected the Deposit Schedule to ensure all future transactions align with the correct semi-monthly dates.
Additionally,we acknowledge that Mr. ******* incurred a $35 bank fee due to this erroneous withdrawal. We deeply regret any financial strain this may have caused. If ********** provides documentation of any additional fees related to this error, we will gladly reimburse him for those charges.
We sincerely appreciate Mr. ******* bringing this matter to our attention and are committed to preventing similar issues in the future. We are reviewing our processes to ensure such errors do not occur again. We thank Mr. ******* for his patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.

Americor Funding, LLC (Americor) is in receipt of Ms. ********* BBB Complaint 22306696. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to her concerns.
By way of background, the customer enrolled and executed a Client Retainer Agreement with Advantage Law on September 11, 2024.Americor provides administrative and support services to Advantage Law customers like Ms. ************************* debts were enrolled totaling $13,967.00. The customer agreed to deposit $186.91 bi-weekly into a third-party account for the purpose of accumulating funds to negotiate with her creditors and to pay the fees. The customer agreed to a fee of 29.5% to be paid upon settlement (or if the settlement requires payments, upon the first payment) of each debt. Fees are calculated at the time the agreement is first executed so that they do increase while the agreement is ongoing.
On September 13, 2024 a welcome email was sent to the customer. Part of that email reminded her to stop any auto payments or automatic bill pay payments from going out to her creditors. Upon receipt of that email, the customer realized the program was not for her. She did not want to stop paying her creditors. However, the terms of the Agreement provide: Debt Resolution is only suitable for persons who are in a verifiable state of financial hardship and are unable to pay or continue to pay the minimum monthly payments to creditors without adding to their financial hardship. (Agreement, Section G(iii)).As a result of the foregoing, the customer immediately requested that her plan be cancelled. Her plan was canceled on 9/23/24 prior to receipt of the customers first bi-weekly deposit. The customer did make a placeholder deposit of $102.00 on September 13. If she has not already received it, this will be refunded back to her.
We hope this helps to clarify this matter.Initial Complaint

I sent Americor $****** on June 5th, 2024 to start a relief program. On June 7, 2024 I contacted *********************** at Americor and canceled the program. I was told I would receive a refund of ****** in about (11) days. I have called repeatedly since June 7th and I keep hearing it be 14 days. I did a contract with this company for debt consolidation with the understanding that I could opt out at anytime. I email *************************, (CSR handling account) my cancellation request on 5/4/2024 in order to stop the draft fro being withdrawn out of my checking account and he told me he took care of it. Well I get an email yesterday that my checking account was drafted for the amount of $405 which caused my account to be overdrawn. This person is not a client of mine nor my firm. My suspicion is that he hired a firm called Advantage Law Firm, which is a debt settlement outfit. My firm is called Advantage Law Group, which has been practicing employment law almost exclusively for 25 years. I have repeatedly asked the owner of that firm, ***************************, to change his firms name to avoid confusion that has previously resulted in my getting phone calls from his clients and correspondence related to his cases and now a BBB complaint, but he has refused. I am considering legal action at this point.Customer Answer

Americor Funding, LLC (Americor) is in receipt of Mr.Aldrichs complaint (#*******). We appreciate the opportunity to review and respond to any concerns.
Based on the Complaint number it appeared that this complaint is very old so we checked our files and learned that this matter was resolved months ago.
Accordingly, we emailed ****************** at the email address listed to inquire if there was something else and he responded as follows:
***** I think you are right when I filed for some reason your business came up at the BBB and they filed the claim against I am assuming Americor. I think the reason for the confusion was the addressI am not sure why Americor address came up but once I saw that the company that ****** works for was located elsewhere I let the *** at BBB know that the business was wrong and she revised it. It has been settled so I dont know why they continue to contact you. I apologize for the mixup and you can forward this response to anyone who contacts you about this matter. Signed an agreement with this company and later decided the same day to cancel. I wrote both the associate that signed me up and client services with the attached cancelation documentation. The agreement states that you can cancel within three days of signing the agreement without any penalty. I have received no confirmation or response. When I tried to call the client services number on the website, the phone call says it will connect you to an associate and just hangs up. I tried this several times and I'm still receiving emails about my account without confirmation of cancellation. This seems very suspicious. I do not trust this company. The initial associate was very pushy. i do not recommend.Business Response
