Preventative care is over-billed resulting in charges of >$650 co-pay for routine mammogram when it should be covered at 100% by insurance. When I contacted my insurance, I was told it was not billed correctly as preventative care by the facility, although it should have been. They have contacted the facility and the **** ***** has not been adjusted.

I received a bill. I PAID the bill. I have an email receipt. Yet, I keep getting bills. The "billing questions" number is an automated system that continually requests the same private information and hangs up on you eventually no matter what option you choose. The Pay By Phone number won't accept my account number and then hangs up on me. The "*****************" website refuses to authenticate on multiple browsers. There is NO way to get a hold of an actual person to confirm that the bill was paid. The system hangs up on you.

A handful of the staff is great. The rest of the staff is nothing short of a nightmare. I go to urgent care reporting chest pain, cold sweats, and dizziness. The staff took an *** and stated that it was OK but worried about the other symptoms. I arrive at the *** which looked likes a scene out of movie with sick patients, and nurse tells me that they need to check vitals and do the ekg again. No idea why but they said they needed to. I get it checked and the nurse, NOT ME, the nurse advises me to go into the corner to draw blood. A male nurse came by and says he will draw my blood in 5 minutes. Thirty-five minutes later I'm approached by another nurse to tell me that I don't belong here. ***? I tell him I was advised by the *** nurse to sit here and he says since I am not supervised, I cannot sit in the area. How the heck am I supposed to know that? He says he understands where my place is in line (FIRST) and I will get called. I get called by the people that take X-rays and I come back and multiple other patients are going before me to get their bloodwork complete. I waited hours upon hours just to be put in the overflow waiting area for hours again, knowing that my bloodwork and X-rays were complete (nurse told me) and a doctor couldn't take a couple of minutes to diagnose me. I spent over 6 hours for nothing. I did not receive a bed or a shared room. The total treatment that I received was a second EKG (because the nurse said it was mandatory), a blood test, X-Ray, and a print out from the doctor and you now charged my insurance a bill of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! I have to pay almost THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS for pretty much nothing. I want an itemized bill and I want you to look at this now. It is CRIMINAL what you have going on at Cedars!

This is re: Cedars Sinai Spine Center I have visited this office multiple times in the past. This time, following a visit to a doctor, they have charged me almost $400 in "facility Fees." I was not informed beforehand that they have decided to charge facility fees at this office. This is not fair and not ethical. I need these facility charges reversed.

I am filing a complaint regarding Cedars-Sinai Medical Centers failure to provide critical security footage and cooperate with an ongoing police investigation related to a hit-and-run incident in their parking lot on September 9, 2023. My vehicle was hit while my mother was undergoing surgery. The incident was documented as Report #************* by Cedars-Sinai security.**** ******** from Cedars-Sinai informed me that the incident was captured on video, and the offending vehicles license plate was visible. However, I was told that footage could only be provided to the ****. After filing a report with the ***** both I and the **** attempted to obtain the footage, making over 30 calls, but Cedars-Sinai was slow to respond. Eventually, they provided only one video that failed to clearly capture the license plate or include footage from critical cameras covering the entrances and exits of the parking lot.On July 30, 2024, the **** confirmed that they only received a single video despite Cedars-Sinai previously claiming they reviewed additional footage. The missing footage from the entrance and exit is vital to identifying the vehicle. It is unacceptable and a serious safety concern that a facility of Cedars-Sinais scale does not have the capability to properly record the license plates of vehicles entering and exiting their parking facility.I escalated the matter to **** ******, Chief Investigator at Cedars-Sinai, who insisted that all footage had been sent. However, the **** confirmed they received only one video. On September 10, 2024, I sent further evidence showing cameras at the parking exit that should have captured the car, but I have received no response from Cedars-Sinai.

I have been a patient of Cedar Sinai for several years now but this will be my last year. This past February 23, I was told by a doctor to get a blood draw as I have done many times before. Usually my blood draws sets me back around $100. I was not made aware to expect any different for this blood draw. This month I received a $1,786.43 bill for my blood draw. I requested an itemized bill but this did not provide me with any more insight into why getting a blood draw at their hospital is so inordinately expensive. This bill will be out of pocket for me if I am forced to pay it. If I had been informed of how expensive it would be, I never would've agreed to get the blood draw in the first place. It feels grossly deceptive to slip in these extra charges for something I have gotten done before at a completely different price at Cedar Sinai.

I booked an appointment with my doctor, ********* ********, for the preparation of my IVF treatment in 2014. Since then, there has been no concierge treatment that my husband and I already paid for with $50,000. The staff was supposed to transport me to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for an in-person check up, security, hotel accommodations, airline flight, and other accommodations I might need. During COVID, things changed. But the hotel accommodations and car service was not adhered to for emergency reasons. Because I experienced a burglary and theft occurred, I would like the airline tickets, the hotel near the hospital, gym, and car service paid for with my account on file, so my IVF can be done soon. I need contact from the hospital staff to ensure a refund or travel via **** airplane to emergency room.

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy for monitoring of a chronic condition on July 17, 2024. On July 2, I reached out to Cedars Sinai through its portal regarding preauthorization and an estimate of my costs. On July 12, I received a message on Cedars Sinai's portal from an individual with the title of "Insurance Verification" stating that they were contacting me to "go over your insurance and your out-of-pocket costs." The amount noted was $2,122, with a $112 anesthesia fee. I paid the amount in advance as requested and received a receipt the day of the procedure. Weeks later, I received an additional unexpected bill for $740 - an extra 30% of what I had already paid. After inquiring, I was told this amount was an addtional "providers bill" and that Cedars Sinai had no knowledge of how my prepayment was applied. I called Cedars Sinai, and was told by a representative that I should reach out to the billing department to request a "courtesy" exception from the additional bill. More than a week later, I was told by Cedars Sinai that the physician was an independent contractor that billed seperately from the facility and that Cedars Sinai had no control over this bill. The physician who did the procedure was a Cedar Sinai employee who, from my understanding, is a part-owner of the facility where the procedure was done.Reviewing my insurance, Cedar Sinai claimed more than $10,000 total for this basic procedure. Had I been correctly informed of the true total amount of the bill, I would likely have elected to go elsewhere. The fact that Cedar Sinai allows affiliates to use its portal to provide quotes, and then disclaim any responsibility for those affiliates and the quotes they provide is extremely disappointing.

On October 24, 2023, I established care with my new primary care physician. His office billed it under preventative. When my insurance provided an EOB, they said that I had ***ed out on preventative services, so the provider needed to run the claim through again as a regular claim. After working with a 3rd party advocate on my behalf for months, I was just informed that Cedars Sinai billing refuses to send the claim back through to my insurance. This is illegal. I had already met my out of pocket *** for last year at that time. They think by billing me directly, they will get more money than my insurance will pay them. That is illegal and unethical.
