    I canceled an automatic renewal. Received notice that my cancellation was received (see attached). My email confirms the account expired as planned. Was then informed that the company charged my card for renewal by a representative solving a document issue who transferred me to customer service offshore. ******************** will not refund my money despite speaking both customer service and their manager.     I was using registered agent service through legal zoom. My business entity, *************************, registered in the state of ******* was disbanded. Unknown to me, my credit card statement showed a renewal for registered agent services from legal zoom on June 8th for $499 for 1 year. I check my statement once per month. Upon becoming aware of this i called to cancel the service immediately since the entity no longer exists and I do not require a registered agent. Contrary to their stated guarantee posted on the website of 60 days purchase money back, my request was rejected. I am being forced to pay for a service for 1 year, for a business entity that no longer exists, with my personal credit card that was on file. There was no warning, no communication from legal zoom of this charge, no receipt either. Not considering renewals as purchases to get around honoring their 60 day refund policy is highly unethical. This is registered agent service, a passive way to show that a company is operating in another state, its passive, there is no financial burden to legal zoom for my cancelation, where there is great financial burden to myself.

    I am trying to get a refund on a subscription I though was cancelled. It is impossible to get someone on the phone with customer service, I've been on hold for 2 hours and hung up on. I was told this subscription was canceled last year and they continue to bill me despite.

    I signed up for filing my business ONLY - I combed through the wording to make sure I wasn't signing up for anything else. I then submitted the payment for my business filing, and was charged 3x more than it said it would, and signed me up for a PAID subscription I did not want or need.I immediately called Legal Zoom's customer service, who told me they can't remove my debit card information from their system, and they can't cancel the subscription until next July. They said they took it off autopay, so the subscription would lapse, but they can't totally take my card out of their system.Not it's almost that time, and I received and email letting me know they'd be auto-drafting my account AGAIN for the subscription I don't want. Then I contacted support who told me they can't cancel it, but that I received that email and then took it off auto-pay myself - which is completely untrue.I ended up threatening legal action - and all the sudden, they can cancel my subscription.I will be watching my account like a hawk in July because I don't believe they won't come up with some other dumb reason to charge me.This is false advertising, bait-and-switch - this is FRAUD. And I just don't want anyone else to have this happen to them too.

    How can BBB be considered reliable when you give this company an A+ rating? Do you not read the information on the internet? This companys business practices have been a continued source of issues for small business. LEGAL ZOOM IS A SCAM. 2,years ago I contacted customer service to cancel, they just charged my credit card for 2 years for a registered agent in **. I tried contacting them again today with no joy.Bbb has received over 1400 complaints, the majority are the same as mine.

    My information was used to form a business entity in my state. I have no knowledge of this business or any of the filings. There is a long string of "coworking' space address' that were used by Legal Zoom to file this. The corporations named "**************************************" is the registered agent. This entity is held by "*******************************" which is the entity operating under the legal zoom name. I am listed as the organizer of this new entity. The principal place of business is a non existent address.

    On June 12, I was charged $199 from LegalZoom. I did not approve of this purchase and I had already filed a dissolution service of my business with LegalZoom. Per their website, they cancel subscriptions when a person dissolves their business. I am trying to get a refund for the money they charged me when I have canceled their services. They refuse to give me a refund and tell me that there will be no charges going forward rest assured, I am very upset about this as I do not have that extra money and they will not file a grievance or return that money to me.

    I tried to register my llc through legalZooms website and was charged $499. I contacted legalzoom by phone and was told it was not successful because I was not signed in to my legalzoom account but they charged my bank account anyway. While on the phone with sales ***resentative and signed in to my account, he instructed me on what to do as I followed the steps. He told me immediately I make the payment I will then receive the forms. LegalZoom charged me again $400. I waited and didnt receive any forms, called back and the next sales *** told me they didnt see any orders from me and wanted to take me through the same process to charge my account which I declined. I have emailed them the two transactions which are pending in my bank account. They acknowledge it as charges done by LegalZoom but dont want to decline the authorization so my bank can release back my funds to my account. All I want ********************** to do is decline the authorization immediately for my bank to release my funds as my bank has told me it could take weeks for it to expire naturally.

    I filed for a business account from **********************. I also registered for a registered agent and then was determined that I didnt need that registered agent so contacted them immediately and asked them to cancel the subscription and not charge me for the subscription. Which they said they hadnt charged me and would cancel it so it wouldnt charge me. A couple days later I realize my card was charged for $249. Later on I realize my card was charged so I contacted LegalZoom and told them they charged me for the legal They argued with me for multiple days stating they never charge me. A couple days later I received a email from them stating where they found they did charge me so at this point they were telling me that they were going to refund my money this was on May 29. It has been 10 business days and I have not received my refund. Ive contacted them multiple times regarding this information and they are still saying the money was refunded, but I have spoken to my bank and no money has been refunded to my account. Ive been dealing with LegalZoom for weeks and I am not getting any help.

    I went on to Legal zoom to set up an llc was given a price of $579.00 which I split into payments of $193.00 Then I got a charge for $249.00 then one for $199.00 and also owe the additional $193.00 of the original deal. I was never told any other amounts. when I call to cancel give me the run around. This is a scam business!
