    I cancelled an auto payment from legalzoom.com in 2020 and have a copy of the e-mail acknowledgment. I received a letter from a collection agent demanding I pay my yearly fee for 2021. I noticed online that others have received this same letter from ************** collections.

    On June 3, I paid Legal Zoom to create an LLC: *************************************** My order number is #*********. On June 4, I received an email from Legal Zoom telling me that there's an issue. In a separate email, they reported that "The word 'Investment' is problematic'. In their website's account portal, I see the message "Info needed for your LLC". On June 4, I replied to the original email asking for clarification, because the word "investment" doesn't appear anywhere in my LLC's name. It is now June 11, and they have not responded to my request for clarification, despite multiple requests follow-ups.

    Where do I start. I used Legal Zoom to open an LLC the end of February 2020 and then Covid Pandemic hit. Needless to say the business never opened. I paid them $239 for "Rush" dissolution which they did absolutely nothing. I have since filed all the paperwork on my own with the state to terminate the llc and they continue to charge me $249 Registered Agent fees and do not allow you to cancel unless they have proof of a new Registered Agent...how do I give them proof when the business never opened and has been terminated? I keep changing my credit card companies and they somehow keep getting my new credit cards to charge, how is this legal? They keep charging and I keep reporting them as fraud to my credit card companies. And of course you can't get ahold of them over the phone...case in point as I type this I've been on hold for 30 minutes, which is after being on hold for 30 minutes to only be disconnected. I will never use legal zoom for anything again, this is ridiculous. I don't want anything from then other than close my account and never contact me again

    Legalzoom is a scam. I ordered the a*****package with professional tax help. I have never received any documentation nor can i find any existence of my company anywhere. I called them and they keep leaving me on hold transferring me from person to person and even just hanging up on me. They did this until after the 60 day mark to tell me i cant get a refund because the time is passed. That was in November of 2021 and to this day(june 2022) i still see nothing about my company. Tax season came and went with no help. I called and emailed them every week telling them to refund me for the service and they refuse. I tell them to stop charging me and they refuse. I just noticed that THEYVE BEEN CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD $80 a month for 4 months since i told them not to charge me anymore. SCAM

    I have called numerous times about their registered agent service. The business in question no longer exists. Yet, they insist in charging me the yearly re-occurring fee. The business has been dissolved by the state and is no longer a viable entity, and I had previously provided that proof from the state to Legalzoom, yet still the registered agent service charge is being pursued. There is no way for me to cancel this nor remove any payment methods..

    It has been almost impossible to cancel my account with LegalZoom. I've contacted them via phone\email and I've spent over an hour on HOLD where I would eventually hang up because nobody would answer. Strange because when they needed money from me they answered immediately. Like the phone numbers are being monitored(my conspiracy theory haha). Anyway.. Their website is no help either as to how to cancel my account. It's an endless loop and meanwhile, there is no way to keep them from charging me again for a business that I've closed down. This account must be canceled ASAP. I reviewed other complaints prior to making mine and I'll have to say this pattern matches what I had gone through with VIVINT. I had to eventually file with the BBB to get resolution. I'm doing the same here. I have the documents that prove dissolution of my company, no reason for them to hold me hostage like this.

    I Filed my DBA through LEGALZOOM the 1st time and it was filed wrong on their end. I was advised to file on my own by their customer service representative, I'm which I did. I was told that everything was good to go and they would publish it and I would recieve an email about it. Never recieved the email. Had to call back 4x in order to get them to figure out why it was never published and it is now too late for the publication to take place. I am now having to refile my DBA for the 3rd time on my own due to the lack of progress that legalzoom was suppose to take card of. They have denied my refund now because of the fact that they now have filed the publication (even though it is denied because it is past the due date for the DBA). This is a joke!! This is a mess up on your end! I deserve a refund for having to file and publish on my own and the publication not being filed when it was suppose to. I expect a refund and response back from legalzoom.

    I initially paid ******** of dollars to LegalZoom to START a 501c3 nonprofit organization. At no point did I ever sign up for recurring services, or anything that would bill me later. It was only an upfront charge to do all the paperwork and filing needed to get it started in the state of ****** at the time. Then, they wait a year and charge me $*** for LegalZoom to be my registered agent. I did not want them to be my agent and I did not sign anything saying I wanted them to do so, and when I told them I don't want that service they never refunded me. I am demanding an immediate refund of my money because I have spent the last YEAR looking through all of my paperwork to see if I ever signed anything that would imply I am agreeing to these charges. THEY DON'T EXIST. Make LegalZoom show proof I signed up for a $*** additional charge a year later, WITH NO WARNING, or make them refund my $***.

Attached are the conversations showing they refused to acknowledge my business relationship with them after hours and hours of back and forthing on the phone and through attempts to contact via the website/email (since I work full time and cannot spend eons on the phone waiting for someone to decide to talk to me). I DON'T WANT A SINGLE PENNY TO BE CHARGED TO ME BY LEGALZOOM EVER AGAIN so whatever needs to happen to prevent further charges, make it happen. As long as I never get charged for anything else ever again and keep the refund (which has hit my bank account already, thank you), we are settled and everything is fine. It is pathetic that I had to go through the *** to hear back from the company all in all but should LegalZoom abide by these terms all will end well.

    I purchased service from Legal zoom in April 2019 when I opened a small private practice. The *** was closed within one year (done so following laws in **) and I no longer needed this service. Not only did Legal Zoom NOT cancel my subscription when I requested I just discovered I have been charged AGAIN for a renewal. I have tried to call and no one answers other than sales...who transfers and you remain on hold. I have attempted to CANCEL my subscription online (which I requested to be canceled 2 years ago) and this is not an option. Upon following Legal Zoom own directions, you are not allowed to cancel a subscription without verification of a new Registered Agent. THE BUSINESS HAS BEEN CLOSED therefore I do not need a Registered Agent. I have been charged *** dollars for 2 years for something I do not need and already requested to be canceled. Automatically renewing without providing written notification and also not allowing someone to independently cancel a subscription is shady at best. I want this canceled and at least a partial refund.

    I have been billed by LegalZoom.com for services I am not subscribed to. I was subscribed to a **************** service for a short time but then I changed in 2017. I stopped using their services several years ago but every year I get letters for payment. I have called and they have said things were resolved but that is clearly not the case. I paid the $****** fees last year thinking it was a collections letter, but that was also never refunded as the agent advised would be.
