This business charged me for a purchase I didn't make - a ridiculous looking red see through dress that costs $200. The company does not have a customer service phone number, so they tell you to send an email and they will respond within 24 hours, which they didn't. They respond to me telling me that there is a 3 hour window when an order can be canceled, but since I didn't place the order I was unable to cancel within that window. This was charged to my HSA card and they told me that it's too bad and wished me Happy Poshing.Business response

I got the Louis Vuitton Felicie bag from the website on Jun 24th for $1077 , it went through their headquarters and passed their authentication then when i resale it on their website on Jul 8 , they declined and said it’s not authentic, it’s ridiculous, they confirmed authentic to sell for me then now i resell they also declined cause it’s not authentic . This website only allows customers to place orders at an Expedited Shipping rate, stating items will arrive in 1-3 business days. However, the seller actually has 7 days before the item is required to be shipped— I don’t understand why I am told at purchase I will have my item in 3-5 business days if I actually have 8 days after purchase to await shipment. I am paying expedited shipping, with no other option for a standard delivery rate. I don’t understand why my Expedited Shipping charge is not refunded when the item arrives late. Why is this website allowed to operate in this fashion? This is very unfair to the customer and very beneficial for the seller and site.Business response

Customer purchased 2 handbags from my store and stated to Poshmark they were not authentic, the items were described as designer Inspired, the customer wad suppose to return the bags instead sent back a shower curtain w/hooks and Poshmark refused to do anything about it, the buyer received 2 bags for free and I received nothing. I have been fighting w/them and no one has compensated me, attached are pics of what was returned to me. This is a disgrace. I was scammed and this company did nothing about it! I purchased a purse from poshmark on 6/22/2021 for an event I had on 7/8/2021. Poshmark promises the item to be shipped by 7 days or you can cancel (though they claim most sellers ship in 2-3 days). With this info I knew that this purse would arrive in time even if it shipped on 7 day and if it didn’t ship by then I had planned to cancel. On day 7 the item shipped. I received the package on 7/2/2021 but it contained the wrong item. I contacted poshmark who started a chat with me and the seller. Seller apologized, stated she had mixed up buyers and my item was sent somewhere else. She said she would refund me. Poshmark then emailed me and asked me to ship the item i did receive to intended buyer and they would ship mine. It was past 7 days so I told poshmark to just send to seller and refund me because there was no way it would arrive in time. Poshmark customer service was terrible to deal with, didn’t answer/read emails. I wound up receiving item late and poshmark will not refund me.Business response

I purchased an item from Poshmark Order# ************************ for $395.01 I decided to sell it on postmark as I have lost my job, have type 2 diabetes and need to sell items for money until I find work. To my shock Poshmark removed the listing stating item is COUNTERFIT! Not only did they sell me a counterfeit item, they made a profit from buy earnings and neglected to me tell that I purchased a counterfeit item. This is HIGHLY unethical as had I not attempted to sell my item I would never have known it was counterfit. Poshmark policy is they make sure any item over $300 is authentic. Please see image of original sale transaction where they allowed me to purchase a counterfeit item, and email from postmark removing my listing.Business response

I do NOT trust Poshmark . They removed my listing for five days , placed a note on my account as someone who sells counterfeit items. Not only that but I believe they sold me a counterfeit item and now back peddle as I caught them.I want the item sent back to Poshmark to be authenticated and have it in writing that it is authentic.

Regarding the user's response, Poshmark requested further photos, which were relayed to our in house specialist, in order to thoroughly evaluate the item. Poshmark's in house specialist has no reason to believe that the item in question is inauthentic. Poshmark has moved forward with reinstating the listing to the user's Poshmark closet. Date of order: 27-Jun-2021 Order #: ************************ The seller of this item stated the item was (verbatim from the item description): "Brand new never worn ***** ***** dress in black crayon d’or print. I do not want to use space in this report - the "Protect" policy link is: ********************************* (abridged "We will give you a full refund if ... does not match the listing description .... You have 3 days after delivery to inform us if the item has been misrepresented bJuy reporting the problem in the Poshmark app or website with supporting photos". Under what is covered it states "Item not as described". I received this item on June 29th and submitted a report to Poshmark immediately stating that the item smelled of body odor, and was clearly worn. I will attach here the documentation of the email exchange in which I was told body odor was "subjective" and would not be allowed to return. This is both not sanitary, dangerous, an in violation of their own policy.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: The reason I contacted the BBB is because the response from Poshmark on as commented was unsatisfactory. Again, the refusal of allowing me as the buyer to reject the item as it was used (malodorous with body odor and clearly worn), and therefore not as described, is in violation of Poshmark's Buyer Protection policy. The response by Poshmark on 7/9 was included in this screenshot's of this report, and I am including again here. The response on this date was again unsatisfactory resolution and in violation of Poshmark's policies. I submitted the item as not as described immediately after receipt with the option "refuse item" and request return to sender. Poshmark's response that this was "subjective" is not part of their policy and is not only an insulting response but is disrespectful and unsanitary. The response by Poshmark to the BBB that they have "already responded" to this complaint is in essence ignoring this submission to the BBB - which is further justification for keeping this case open.
