I never got their help and wont stop calling me after I turned down the offer they stopped and then started calling me again and has been going on for over two weeks now why wont they stop harassing me!Business Response

Company calls you repeatedly after advising you are not interested in signing up. Then they get upset and hang up on you! EXTREMELY unprofessional. After many months of incessant calls and stating I'm not interested, I have requested for my data and account to be deleted on the phone and via email several times. On the phone, they hang up. Over email, they don't respond. Last week I got ANOTHER phone call and an email and said if I don't have confirmation of data deletion in 24 hours I'd file a complaint. I requested debt relief information online and accredited debt relief began calling me in less than 1 minute. They have called me a minimum of 4 times a day since. The last call came from a local number and did not say spam so I answered. I kindly told the women I was no longer interested in services. She continued to keep repeating her speech. I asked to be removed from there call list 5 times while on the phone and she said "I am so sorry but" and kept trying to ask me more questions and continue her speech. I ended up having to hang up on her without confirmation that I would be removed from their call list. I have never had a company that is supposed to be for debt help be so pushy and rude when I am asking them to stop calling me. This was beyond ridiculous.Business Response

Contacted Accredited Debt relief. Was advised by ******** that their fees were simple interest and based on the time it took me to complete the program at a 6. something % and that I could pay off early to cut the fees. I called back today to sign up with the program and to ask a few questions. ******* blind transfered me to a whole nother company. I called back and asked to speak with her supervisor. I was connected to ****. He was very knowledgeable and I was ready to join the program. I asked about paying double payments to decrease the 6. something percent. He advised that they had a set fee of 25%. When I asked ******** what the fee was she advised no fee a 6. something % that I could eliminate by paying early. I asked **** if he could review the call and honor what I was advised. **** advised if I had $30k or over he could lower the fee but since I only had 10k he could not. On your initial interaction, the agent explained that our fee averages out to a savings of 6.25% annually. Additionally, your ability to save money on fees was in reference to fees from creditors accruing on your enrolled accounts and that there is no prepayment penalty.
As your initial interaction did not reach the point of enrollment, that agent did not yet have the opportunity to review the program fee in detail to ensure your understanding.

Thr agent advised that their was not a fee. Only the 6.25% interest which if paid off early would go away. That is not true as it is a flat fee. The agent also advised that she did not know if credit card accounts would be closed or not which is not true. The accounts would all be closed as advised when I spoke with her supervisor due to her unprofessional actions. The presentation that was given and the actual truth of the matter are not the same. I was looking at consolidating some credit card debt and made the bad decision of giving my phone number while seeing what kind of services this company performs. As soon as I found out more information, I knew that this was not for me and asked the representative who called me to take me off their phone list or give me contact information for whomever was in charge of giving out this phone list. The reps are reading off of prompts because the company is aware of how many people are saying take me off your list. This is harassment. Using area codes from towns I live lived in to trick me into answering. Its shameful. When I state clearly to take me off the phone list, there should be no more debate. This should be illegal. Looked at potentially using their services and was immediately contacted once the browser was closed, that already seemed to be a red flag but I haven't dealt with these companies before so chalked it up to probably standard practices to get new clients. Couldn't talk at the time of the first call so scheduled a call for 4pm, received the call at 4pm on the dot, not necessarily a bad thing. After talking to ***** for an hour it seemed as though this was a god send, I could consolidate all my debt for hardly anything. Gave all my personal information but didn't formally sign into the program. After reading the complaints and reviews here on the BBB I have decided not to proceed and have sent them an email asking to be put on on the do not contact list. Seems they harass and call relentlessly and I do not want any part of it, they have already been predatory.Business Response
