I filled out an online form for more information from Accredited Debt Relief several months ago. In the time since then I've told them I do not want their services but they have called non stop, several times per day, for months. Well over a hundred calls. From different phone numbers every time. A legit company would not do this and certainly wouldn't spoof a new phone number with each call.Business response

Scam! I looked up a debt management company that is located in ********** and came across, Consumer ***************** Services in ** but when I called them, Accredited Debt Relief picked up and started to email me as soon as I gave my email. She said she has to qualify me for the program. I told her that nonprofit counselors provide free evaluation first and not try to qualify me for any additional programs. Did not want to answer my questions instead she was just interested in getting my personal information. When I did not provide it she got upset and hung up. This place is a scam, and they are not a nonprofit to help people out of debt. I don't even know why they exist.Business response

I requested information about debt consolidation from Accredited Debt. I talked to a representative and decided not to proceed. Since then, they have been calling me several times a day and have been doing this for weeks now. I have answered several times and asked to be placed on the do not call list for this company and have asked them to STOP Calling me. Since then it has not stopped. Instead- each time I tell them Im not interested the lady badgers me and continues to ask why Im not interested. Its absurd. times and told them to take me off whatever list they have and STOP calling me. Not only that but it seems they have given my contact information to other companies who also continue to call me with debt relief offers. This is a violation. I never gave permission for this. Im also asking that they stop sharing my information.Business response

I wrote a detailed account of my interaction with Accredited Debt Relief. All of the details didn't fit in this box so it is attached below. I have been working with them since February. Even though my 'contract' with them was cancelled and put on hold until I took out another credit card for them to consolidate, they began withdrawing from my account. The communication is terrible. They state that they are negotiating with my largest creditor (US Bank), but US Bank says that they are not in negotiations with them. I feel that they are lying to me. I need to escalate this perhaps to a manager who can provide honest and detailed communication as to the status of my account and an ETA of when it will be settled. I inquired about Accredited Debt Relief a few months ago via Experian. Almost immediately the phone calls started, three or four times a day. I decided rather quickly that I didn't want to do business with Accredited and have made 5 or 6 attempts to have my name removed from their call list. Each time I'm told they will put my name on the do not call list but I'm still receiving calls. Not to mention the reps are very rude and aggressive about it.Business response

My number was input into their system, and no matter how many times i ask them to stop calling, no mattee how many of their numbers i block and they circumvent by calling with a different number, they refuse to stop calling several times a day. This sets a red flag that they are predatory.Business response
