I requested a quote on Monday February 6,2023 regarding how the program works, after receiving the information, my husband and I decided that this would not be a good option for us. I advised the person this information that same day and to stop all communication. Since then I have received several phone calls as well as several emails. The last email I received from them on Tuesday February 7,2023, was very rude, inappropriate, harassing, and uncomfortable to read. Ive uploaded the information below so that you are able to read the last email.Business response

I received multiple calls from this business. They are saying they can help me with debt relief. I told them I am not interested and they keep repeating the same thing. Definitely seems like a scam. The person I spoke with is super odd and even though I said I am not interested he kept repeating the same thing. Unlikely this is a legitimate business and they clearly aren't abiding by any no call list rules.Business response

I inquired about their services on behalf of a colleague and have since been harassed repeatedly with repeated calls soliciting their services. They have disregarded over seventeen requests not to be called, dialing from different numbers every time. This abusive behavior makes me deeply regret ever considering them.Business response

I requested information about debt consolidation from Accredited Debt. I talked to a representative and decided not to proceed. Since then, they have been calling me several times a day. I have answered three times and told them to take me off whatever list they have and STOP calling me. But the calls continue. No reputable company would do so.Business response

I spoke with someone from Beyond Finance on April 19 about debt resolution and began the process of signing up. However, at a certain point in the process I changed my mind after asking certain questions. I hung up the phone thinking it was cancelled. Then I noticed I was still getting emails from the company like I was still signed up for the program. I spoke with someone on April 21 and she said I was still signed up. She then said she cancelled me "effective immediately" and sent me an email stating this. April 22 I had a withdrawal from my bank account for $151.54 from BeyondFinance. This caused me to become overdrawn and a fee of $38 dollars was posted to my account. Can you please help? This company's rating should go down. This was the email from April 21:******************* <**********************************>Apr 21, 2022, 1:02 PM (6 days ago)to me Hello Ms ************************ message is to notify you we are canceling your program per your request, effective immediately. After trying to resolve my debt I hired accredited debt relief. They informed me the only time they get paid is when they make a settlement with one of my debit accounts. After going through three or four different companies I never was told about my money being held in an account that I have to pay for. I've been charged $25+ the first month, $10.75 another month, and $14.95 another month. I finally had enough of them ruining my credit and charging me for things we did not discuss, (which I have on recorded conversations). This is my second complaint about this company because BBB decided to close the case without reading my response to the companies response to my complaint.(Re: ID # ********- ********************* ************ emailed me on 12/21/21 prior to their response to the BBB, requesting to confirm the address to mail my reimbursement check to. After that, someone from Accreditted responded to my original complaint saying they were redepositing my check into another account. NONE of this has happened, unless of course they redeposited my refund into another debit account of mine. I've not taken the time to see if they had to s**** it up again. I am not satisfied with the outcome of my first complaint, and I will not be satisfied until their check is in my bank and clears.Business response

There are hidden fees and too many companies with their hands in the cookie jar. When I 1st contacted Accredited Debt Relief my credit score was in the 700s. Within months my credit score fell below 500. Accredited Debt Relief/Beyond Finance instructed me to stop paying my creditors. Since my credit ********** Was at the top of the list of creditors I owe the most money to, they instructed me to stop using my ************ account and have my SSD check automatically deposited into a new banking account. After the 1st month I realized they were taking too much money, and only leaving me with $200 a month to live on. So we renegotiated a new amount of money to go towards my debt relief. Now we're into month 3 and I received a statement from an unknown financial institution called Crossroads Fnancial Technologies. Not knowing who they were at 1st, but realized that the dollar amount was the same amount Accredited debt relief was taking out of my checking. When I inquired about this CFS company I was told it's an interest bearing account. The word "interest" doesn't show anywhere on the statement and I've been charged $20+ every month for them to hold on to my money. After listening to my conversations that were recorded with this company, they never ever told me that I had to pay fee for someone else to hold on to my money. The end of November 2021 I called to cancel my account and to get my money back. This company Sent my refund to one of my creditors, 1 I owed the most money too. They refunded my money to an account they told me to close because I owed that financial institution $15000.Thanks to Accredited Debt Relief/Beyond Finance/CFS I don't have that money and now no way to catch up on my bills. This company did not refund me my money, they gave it away to someone else!Business response

I am filing this complaint against accredited debt relief ********************* who initially did my application told me that at any time I was not happy dissatisfied or changed my mind about joining the program I was 100% guaranteed my $265 back and I was also told that once that money was received they would go to work on my bills immediately and they did not she told me initially that they would start contacting creditors submit bills and that at any time I needed to submit other bills to contact her I have made repeated attempts to contact her and she would not call me back I called another company they wouldn't call me back then l I contacted the company again and I was told my $265 would be back in my account in 2 to 5 days they only gave me back $219 and I want the rest of my money they're trying to say I owe all these fees and they didn't do a thing for me they didn't help me out in any way whatsoever this company is nothing but a bunch of lying scammers and I want the balance of my money back. From day one they did absolutely nothing and on top of that they gave me a settlement quote without even speaking to any of my creditors so how could you tell me what they're willing to accept when you hadn't spoken to them and you also said you would not speak with them until the initial deposit so talk about a scam.Business response

******************,
Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced.
In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction over the manner in which your program was serviced and the amount of your refund.
We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 12, 2021. At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you. Under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in section 8. "Timing and Program Estimates" reads in part as follows:
"We begin contacting your Creditors as soon as we determine that a good faith effort to resolve a given debt, whether on a lump-sum or installment basis, may be made, with such determinations dependent upon such factors as the Creditors settlement policies, the rate of account accretion, the size of each Debt and how close a Debt may be to charge-off. Some Creditors prefer that they not be contacted until
you have accumulated sufficient funds in your Dedicated Account to allow a resolution within their historic norms."
At the time of your requested termination there were insufficient funds in your account to begin negotiation efforts. The estimate provided to you at the time of enrollment is based on our past experience with creditors.
Our records indicate that you received a refund in the amount of $ 219.43. The fees that were taken prior to your refund are non-refundable fees processed by ******************** Technologies and *****************. These fees were disclosed in the *** section of the Enrollment Agreement as well as the ***************** ********** Agreement.
While we are sorry to have lost you a customer, we understand that our program is not the best fit for every individual financial journey. We wish you continued success on your path to financial freedom.
Sincerely,
Accredited Debt Relief, ****
