i had originally used them in January of ********************************************************** so of no contact from them besides the original call to set up the services and make a payment plan with them i had called back to cancel their services and payments and that i would still have to pay for the services that were done and claimed that they had filled out all the paperwork and were "just about to serve the other party" i stated i still did not want their services they then told me that they were going to review and update the amount owed. Now the original cost for this was $3311.88 after the adjustment the claim that for the "work they have done" the new total is $2,180.07 and that i have paid $1,124.6? so far making the remaining balance $844.39, after almost a year of no payments being taken out and no contact from them, on Thanksgiving morning they charged me $105 out of nowhere. I called to speak to somebody about this and was told nobody could help me until Monday. i called Monday and was told I would get a call back in 3 business days. It is now Friday and nobody contacted me. I called today and was bounced around from department to department told they cant help me, talk to someone else. I was told again today that I have to wait 3 business days. I am beyond disappointed and angry with this company. I want the money back I have paid for absolutely no services.Business Response

On October the 8th 2024, I paid for and hired ***** law to represent me in child custody rights and visitation. Keep in mind , I had already filed everything on my own prior to this months ago so everything was already in the court system. Because I had another child born in September they amended that particular record to add my new sons name on which they failed to do! They did not even put his name on there, I had to report that as an error to them, and have them correct that they're supposed to be a law firm right?Long story short for $2,816, I was told in my conversation on the phone that this was a flat fee and everything would be taken care of however, once I hired them and they emailed me the papers AFTER I paid $2,816, I read the papers stating that the services were very limited I had no clue that they would stop all movement on my case all they did was amend the original document that I originally filed for my first **** and delivered it to the defendant. According to another attorney that I had to hire now , Marble had until October 31 of 2024 to respond with a temporary visitation motion, NOTHING was done whatsoever AND I NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM THEM UNTIL I CONTACTED THEM BECAUSE WE WERE WONDERING WHEN IS OUR COURT DATE IF YOU SERVED THE DEFENDANT PAPERS WHAT'S HAPPENING NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM THESE PEOPLE. I just heard this from another attorney that I have to now pay an additional $4,000 for it because of marble laws failure to comply with and proceed with further action. There was no physical office for me to go to it was hard as heck to get communications with whoever these representatives are that they have working at home and have no experience in the law field to respond to this is a ridiculous scam and I am demanding the $2,816 paid back to my mother who happens to be retired and use her last bits of funds to make this possible for us for me to see my children and for her to see her grandchildrenBusiness Response

This is absolutely unacceptable response from your so called law services.Your business did absolutely nothing for me and my case. I called in and complained to you folks after discovering that you left me high and dry with no communications , no email, no court date, no further correspondence, once you got my money. I called asking for a copy of the recording of our initial conversation on the phone which, you declined to send me . Per our very limited conversations on the phone when we did communicate, you always stated that "this is a recorded conversation" well where is the recording I asked for?
It was NEVER stated, that this was a pay for very limited services only program. Again, the only true way that I discovered that , was once I paid you! Then you sent me the papers via email that had that statement.
My mom paid for this to help me and you took from my 65-year-old mother from her hard-earned retirement fund that she barely had saved up just to s**** us you should not even exist this is a scam you know it and that's what all the other customers stated on the ********************** profile in their complaints!

I told him in an email that and never received a response. No one has called about this report. I don't really care to talk to anyone from Marble. I am at the beginning of ending my relationship with the mother of two of my children. She is unstable and makes various threats of keeping my children from me, etc. Last week she went to jail for a Domestic Violence case and I needed to act fast to try and gain temporary custody of my children due to her being unstable. I spoke with Marble law and explained the situation in great detail and asked to speak with an attorney who was experienced and assertive in these types of cases. They took payment of ***** for a strategy session with an attorney. The first one was not impressive. They then set a phone call with someone they claimed was perfect for my case. We retained her due to her promises and game plan. Once retained, she changed the game plan up, failed to get the paperwork filed in time, would not return calls or emails hardly and my ex wound up with my kids and is now playing games. It was not explained that the Attorney would not be representing me the whole process. The entire situation was very misleading. I read on their website that they were there for the clients and not counting minutes but the attorney told me that I should not be contacting her as much as I was and that she had only been with the firm for 2 weeks. My husband and I started using Marble Law in February of 2023 for termination of biological fathers rights and for adoption. We paid them a total of $4,621 not including $450 in interest fees through affirm. At the start of this process we spoke with our first ****** who had us sign and notarize paperwork to send back to him. We were told after 2 months that he never received the paperwork and to send it out again. After waiting another month we tried contacting him with no answer. We contacted Marble several times through email and over the phone, who let us know our paralegal would be in contact with us in 3-5 business days. We kept getting assigned multiple paralegals, being told that they were working on it and trying to get in contact with our ******. This went on for 6 months before we were told our ****** was actually no longer on our case. We were very upset with the lack of communication from Marble but didnt want to lose the money we already paid them, so we decided to go with another law firm through Marble. This firms communication was better but we sent paperwork out 3 different times for it to be lost in the mail and then waiting months to hear back from the courts. Fast forward a year later, and we find out that Marble and the law firm we were assigned to dont do uncontested adoptions, which we made very clear from the start that we could not get in contact with the biological father. We terminated our services after that to only be refunded $1550. Marble is stating they are charging us $3071.25 for there legal research, strategic work, paralegal work, client support, and case technology. We paid 3k for drafting to be the only thing done with terrible customer service from **********************. We were not provided the services we were expected and now we are out of $3000 to go to another ****** for our case. This is a bait and switch fraud company pretending to be a law firm. They are a third party lawyer referral service that refer you to unprofessional lawyers. They give a consultation with a different lawyer then you get after paying. They give personal information out to the wrong people. Documents are not placed on the website like they say they will be and are only emailed and texted. There is no legal advice given as the client is forced to do everything and forced to pay constant money for every individual thing. Prices are not straight forward and once paid they treat you with disrespect everything costs extra. Lawyer was unprofessional smoking during mediation. Lawyer chose another lawyer to be the mediator who was a close friend or well-known individual. The mediation was not properly setup through the court and instead was setup as a private online mediation to force a temporary agreement and didn't have my legal name on the documents. Financial information was not properly disclosed by the opposing party to me which is supposed to be done before any mediation can happen. I was harassed by the opposing party's lawyer instantly after petition was filed because I had not paid to retain the lawyer yet because once again the process of legal price is not straight forward. I am in a worse position then I was before filing and paying they defrauded me of over $5000 as there were hidden fees not explained. I am filing a bbb against the lawyer and the meditating lawyer for not following legal protocols. Marble law needs to be shut down. They are not a law firm, false advertise, steal money, provide incompetent/unprofessional lawyers, have the worst customer service who say they can't do anything accept take your money, place people into a worse position then they were before using their service, don't communicate properly, and take your information and give it to other people.Business Response

I hired Marble Law in or around November 24, 2023, to assist with two critical legal issues:1.Filing a petition to modify a previously entered child support order.2.Responding to a domestic violence protective order filed against me by my childs father.However, due to repeated issues with their services, I was forced to terminate my contract with Marble Law. 1.Unresponsiveness of the Assigned Attorney:Throughout the time I was a client of Marble Law, the attorney assigned to my case became unresponsive. My multiple attempts to seek updates and clarification about my case went unanswered. This lack of communication was unacceptable, particularly given the urgency of the legal matters.2.Failure to Complete Services:Despite hiring Marble Law to modify a child support order, the petition was never served or completed. The lack of action has caused significant delays and hardships in resolving this matter.3.Ongoing *************Termination:After I terminated my contract with Marble Law due to their unresponsiveness and failure to deliver on their obligations, they continued to charge me for services, including:Fees for the incomplete petition to modify the child support order, which was neither served nor completed.Charges for the use of their website, even though nothing was uploaded or updated by Marble Law until after I canceled their service.These ongoing charges are unjustified, and I find them to be exploitative given their failure to provide the services I paid for.This situation has caused me significant stress and financial hardship.I dont know the exact amount of charges because I cannot locate the billed fees on the site anymoreBusiness Response

My lawyer from marble has been a horrible experience that keeps getting worse. I spoke with the lawyer and he tells me he can work my contempt case for $5,000 and I agreed. The lawyer never responds to my emails. I always end up sending emails twice because Im concerned he doesnt receive them. Last week I reach out to the lawyer because Im concerned. He tells me that hes super busy and wont get my my case until a week before. He also tells me he used to be a judge. Next thing I know one week before the trail the lawyer says I owe him and additional $1200. I thought its an error because I already paid $5000 and we didnt discuss any additional charges. I know hes not working on my case because he told me he wasnt and he wont even respond to my emails. Apparently Im being charged for a scheduling conference that the lawyer attended before telling me it wasnt included in what I already paid. Had I known that I wouldnt have had him come. Its so sneaky and shady. I dont even know why it wouldnt be apart of the case. If it wasnt covered why did you come? Its like I need a lawyer for the lawyer. Why wasnt I made aware of this charge prior to it being added to my account. The communication is horrible and everything seems like an elaborate scheme. There is no customer service and everyone is being rude. No one will explain to me why I was charged after the fact without my consent. The lawyer doesnt respond to emails and is apparently refusing to come to court and I wont get a refund for the $5000 already spent. Poor business practices.Business Response

The lawyer then advised me that he was double booked for the day of the trail. He stated that he would have any attorney step in on his be half. This was all told to me the day before the trail.
the stand in lawyer comes and tells me that he didnt know anything about the trail until 8pm the day before the trail. He told me that today was his wifes birthday and he spent all morning in a criminal trail. He didnt have any information and thought the best option would be to ask for an extension until my actual attorney was available. Today the lawyer asked to postpone. My case has not been taken seriously.
so no only did the law frim try to tack on erroneous fees they didnt have a lawyer prepped for trial.

We have confirmed that the fill-in attorney competently appeared at the first hearing, fully prepared to proceed, and did not request consolidation; the Judge independently made that decision.
To address your concerns, we have downgraded the request for the default scope, and you will be fully refunded for this portion of the service. However, the show cause scope was completed as agreed. Hello,
This law firm is unscrupulous and dishonest.
When I initially spoke with the lawyer I advised him that there were two separate cases. I told him that I filed my case in July 2024 and the other party filed in June 2022. The lawyer told me that he would try to have the cases combined and charge one flat fee of *****. He advised that if he couldnt have the cases combined I would have to pay a second ***** fee. This was all on a recorded line. He charged me $***** and I agreed.
Once I signed the contract the lawyer stopped communicating. I sent numerous unanswered emails and calls. When I was finally able to connect with the lawyer he told me he was double booked and would ask the court to change my court date so that he could be present for my trail on 11/20/2024. However, 11/19 he advised that he couldnt have the trail time changed. He advised me that he would have another lawyer fill in for me. The fill in lawyer arrived to court and advised me that he didnt know about this trail until 9pm the day before trail. He advised that he was not up to date on the trail and thought it best to ask for a postponement until my lawyer was able. He asked the judge in open court to postpone the trail.
This cases has been extremely stressful and Marble made everything worst. The lawyer did nothing he agreed to do. Please refund my money. I was left stranded and not assisted. The experience with Marble has been God awful and has caused me significant anxiety and stress. I trusted these people to help me and they robbed me without a gun. To be clear I have not escalated the issue to attorney grievance committee.
Lastly, the lawyer said he was a former judge. I think this is why he is no longer a judge. Marble needs to hire better attorneys. Please refund my account in full!Business Response

I have contacted the ************************ and the *****************************. This company charged me ***** and didnt help me. There is no way a scheduling conference is *****. I had to go to court alone. I also am filing another complaint with ******* to get this erroneous loan off my credit moving forward.
The company is a scam company. They took my money didnt show up to court. Refused to answer my calls. They also instructed their call center workers to hang up on me.
I was not represented at trail. There was no show cause order. Their respond to the BBB has been a lie. I will move forward with my complaints until my money is refunded. This company is illegal and fraudulent.Initial Complaint

In mid to late September I made the mistake of of using Marble Law for a second time. The first time was for my divorce which I was left very unsatisfied with the service. The latest incident was a child support hearing. I was charged $2250 for the hearing. I chose an installment plan. My initial upfront cost was $750. My hearing was scheduled on October 23rd at 9am. My assigned attorney name was Gregnnecia *******. I spoke with her the prior Thursday over the phone for 21 minutes. I show up to court on October 23rd. Waiting for several hours. Finally when its my turn to appear in court my attorney has not shown. I call feverishly trying to get in contact with her. I call Marble law. They are no help whatsoever. I was forced to ask for a continuance of my case. Its now scheduled for January 27th,2025. I reached out to my Marble paralegal ******* *****. She sends an email to Marbles finance department requesting a full refund for services not rendered. Marble has been giving me the run around ever since. Initially stating that my funds were applied to my divorce case which I paid in full more than a year ago. After that portion was cleared up. They stated it was closed out. I explained my attorney never showed up. Marble didnt honor our contract. I reach a finance manager. They were initially responsive pretending they were trying to get my refund. Now they refuse to answer my calls about an update on my funds being returned. That mangers number is ************. I will continue to call until I get results. However I have used this company twice and both experiences have been bad. They are robbing people of their hard earned money by short changing them and using the lowest levels of attorneys as their representation.Business Response
