I had pre-purchased a hotel stay at the *********************** hotel. Check in would be on 3/26/23 and check out on 3/29/23. I reached out via phone 3/27/23 to notify Member deals/GovX that my sister was having her asthma flare up during our hotel stay at the ***************** hotel due to the carpet in the room. The hotel staff, *******, said we would be able to leave the day before our intended check out of originally 3/29/23- we left on 3/28/23 instead. They confirmed that member deals would have to reach out to them to confirm the check out date. However, they did provide a form at check-out confirming the dates and the charge. The hotel stay was paid via the credit card I provided at check in, which they originally had told me was just as a "standby" charge, that my card would not be charged. I have attached the amount already paid plus the summary of stay confirming out checkout date. Please reimburse this amount as I have already paid for the hotel stay via my credit card. We booked a car rental through the GovX website, a company that is supposed to give discounts to military veterans. We had a family trip planned to ***************. Planned on picking up the car from Thrifty rental car company at the ***********************. When we arrived at the airport, ******* was turning away everyone in line stating they had no cars left. They did not want to take anyone's information and told us to go through the third party to get a refund. I have reached out to GovX, Thrifty car rental and the company where the billing showed up from which was Member Deals. I paid $330.35 in advance for the rental. We arrived at the airport on March 24th 2023. We did not receive a vehicle. We had to go through another rental agency to get a car. We still have not received a refund or response from any of the three companies listed above. We would like a full refund.Business Response

I reserved a hotel room through GovX. The room I booked was a 2 queen *** room that sleeps 5. When scrolling through the pictures online it showed 2 queen ***s and a pull out sofa which is exactly what I wanted. When I get to the room and check in, the pull put sofa is not in the room. I talked to the hotel management and they said that they did not know why govX had that picture for this room. They were unable to upgrade me or refund me since I went through govX. I called GovX and the guy said that I got the room I paid for. I informed him that it doesn't fit everyone staying and said that the pictures showed a pull out couch. He said that since I already checked in, I can't get a refund or upgrade through them at all and if I wanted a new room I would just have to rebook another room and lose out on the $500 I already spent. He was extremely unhelpful and I feel like I got completely played by GovX who refused to help at all! At the beginning of the call an automated system mention a survey so I told the guy to send me to the survey. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. All I wanted to do was get a bigger room and was completely fine in paying the difference but he completely refused. 1st and last time I use GovX. 0 starsBusiness Response

I ordered an item from ************** ************** (further referred to as MRCC) through GovX (listed business) for a total of approximately 58 dollars on 12/30/2022. I never received this order and I have attempted to resolve the matter privately via Email multiple times (more than ten) with no response. I cannot file a complaint against MRCC directly due to it not being listed on the better business bureaus list. There is no phone number listed for MRCC, so I cannot reach out to them that way. I have also reached out to Govx with no help on the matter. I am filing this complaint against GovX because I cannot file against MRCC and because I consider them ultimately responsible for this matter, considering I ordered from MRCC through GovX. I seek to have my money returned to me, or just send me the item I paid for with overnight shipping.Business Response

Booked a hotel stay with them in Janurary for a trip to ******* ******* for Feb 22nd-27th 2023. Upon arrival at the hotel it was not what we expected, not pictured as it was on the websitewaited hours to check in and we immediately called GovX to request a refund and to stay elsewhere. We asked if we would get a refund if we did not check in due to the conditions. GovX said yes as did the hotel. The hotel said we could stay one night until we found a new hotel. The hotel refunded us our parking fees and resort fees which was close to $400 cash. The manager ****** at the hotel, ********************* refunded gov x that day. She also said she would not dispute anything that we had to say and was in agreement to issue full refund.We checked out and stayed elsewhere.It has been 2 weeks. Manager ****** at ********************* refunded GovX the 659 dollars 2/23/23. GovX still has not refunded me. I call daily and they say they have not gotten a response From who they booked it through Im infuriated! This is a site for military! And they have ruined our vacation. I called and asked for a manager and am told there is none available and that one would call me that day and no one calls. Everyday I get the same answer that they have no answer! Bought a pair of boots online. They were too big. GovX refused to exchange them for a size that fits. Now I have boots I can't wear. I have all the documentation for a return, and they have never been worn. Very poor customer service.Business Response

Good evening here is the information that you requested. Our original flight ********* **** was canceled due to no Pilot. Dozens of flights were canceled at *** *********. Then we rebooked on flight **** for ********* Airlines which was also canceled as of 430pm. We have been waiting several hours for our flight only for it to be canceled. There are no other flights available due to no pilot. Some people have been waiting 3 days to go to ******** *****. We request a full refund from the partner **** and due to the flight cancelation we are still at the airport after 5 hours and we are not flying to ******** ***** due to the airline situation.We would like our refund.Please let me know if there is anything else you need.Bottom line we provided all evidence and we keep getting excuses that they won't refund our money for rental car despite the flight cancelation.Business Response

Date of transaction: 09/15/2022 Amount of money to GovX: $1,185.14 Business commitment to provide: Tactix Delta solar watch Nature of dispute: Defective product Whether or not business has tried to solve problem: No Order number: ******* I've contacted GovX via email and have gotten a run of the mill response saying that I'm unable to return a defective garmin watch. The watch has frozen while attempting to update and then returned to a main menu not allowing me to set it up further. I then review the specs of the watch on the main carrier of the watch (Garmin) and have found out I ordered the wrong watch entirely. I claim responsibility for that. However the watch and software seem too outdated and buggy to even keep up with the intended use of the watch. Through email GovX has told me that since I've opened the packaging I am no longer able to return the device for a refund or exchange in which I told them that I'd be willing to spend an extra few hundred dollars more for a current model. GovX states, "If you're not totally satisfied with your GovX order, we'll make it right." Here's our return policy. I booked a hotel for Sux Flags Lodge, upon doing so through member deals website from ID.ME, I thought it was better through a military discount website that was verified, obviously not with the numerous complaints. They are also apparently a 3rd party to Expedia. I decided to book directly through the hotel, which I did. The hotel was notified that that reservation was to be cancelled and keeping the hotel only. I called on 8/8/22 to cancel the hotel. The agent stated we have to out in a request that takes 72 hrs to process, which was ridiculous. I said **** ahead I had to leave and would call back in an hour for a supervisor. They supposedly sent a request to cancel and request no penalty since there was none for the hotel. I called after the hour and requested the same. I get an email stating 72 hours for a response. I gave it time and no resolution, called again on 8/12/22 to ensure they dont play no show and of course they still have not cancelled the reservation, asked for a supervisor and they said they would call back, I requested after 5 since I work and of course they call before 5, still stating the same bs, working on a resolution and 72 hr wait. At the hotel I confirmed cancelled and no penalty, no money was sent to the hotel. Had my stay with my other room and everything was fine. Call again up on return and same thing, I requested a supervisor(which they lie because its signed regular representative) and she stated pending no penalty from the hotel, you will get a full refund, she asked for the supervisors name and if possible an email confirming. I called got the name and contact info, the supervisor that handles those bookings and said thats all they needed and I emailed that to the *********** 72 hours for resolution. I gave the time and got frustrated, requested a dispute with my credit card. Upon completion of the disputes they send bs that I did not request to cancel and they trying to keep $1032.59 from me.Business Response
