I was given 4 different matchmakers over the course of my time and that negatively impacted my experience. I was contracted to work with a matchmaker. As part of the process, you work with that person closely so they gain a lot of insight into the type of person that would be a good fit for you and the match. The constant changing prevented that rapport from developing.I have emailed with 2 members from the customer success team and was told me that no refunds are granted but came back to say the most they could offer is $500 out of the nearly $7000 I paid and that they would have my sign an agreement releasing them from any further responsibility. All clients are purchasing Tawkify's Services. You are not only purchasing a specific number of matches, you are also purchasing time spent with a matchmaker, and internal Tawkify support teams, and their interactions and insights with you pursuant to their service of your experience. Part of this insight may include date conduct insights, date preparation, and general dating advice.Over the course of my experience, I was not provided date insights, preparation, general dating advice, etc. I had one introductory meeting with each matchmaker via Zoom and then after that it would be either brief communication through text to let me know if a date was scheduled or a brief 10-minute call to relay date feedback. The constant changes in matchmaker disrupted any progress I was making as the rapport and knowledge that I and my matchmaker made was lost and I had to completely start over again. After four different ones I became completely disenfranchised and feel that Tawkify failed in providing any material benefit that they were contractually obligated to do. Therefore, while I believe I should be fully refunded due to their failure to provide the obligated service, I understand I did receive some service but believe the refund should be significantly higher than what has been offered.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I have already been in touch with **** from your customer service team several times with no success. While I understand that a business cannot predict when its employees choose to leave it, I ended up being more negatively impacted by those departures than the company did. They still got paid and I was left with a disjointed experience.The website for Tawkify advertises that clients are paired with ONE of our expert matchmakers and your matchmaker will spend time understanding you.. Thats very difficult to do if you have to constantly get acquainted with one matchmaker only for them to leave. They also advertise that youll have access to tools, private events. I didnt have access to either of those things.
I would also like to respond to the reference to how challenging finding love is. While that may be true, you might expect more from a company you paid several thousands of dollars to find they did they not deliver as advertised.

I am reaching out to formally address the incomplete fulfillment of services I contracted with Tawkify on February 27. My transaction in the amount of $4,900 was for a package that was to include three curated matches, along with additional outlined services. However, I have not received the full services as detailed in my contract, and I am seeking a resolution to this matter.On September 19, a Tawkify representative, ******* *******, verbally acknowledged that the outlined services had not been fully provided. He was buying a condo that was worth less than my house.. Mr. Very SuccessfulTawkify is no better than you searching the apps and taking a chance yourself.If Tawkify would have checked the county records to verify his divorce or mailed a letter to his so called address (do the background check they claim to do) then they could have figured out he was a fraud. However, I feel Tawkify doesnt care about the well being of their clients, just the cash. This guy spent his last dime on Tawkify to try and meet a woman with money to fund his divorce. As a single, successful woman Im not comfortable taking chances meeting random men and thought this would be a great, safe way and this was a total SCAM. The matchmakers name was *****. I spent a significant amount of money on a matchmaking service that guaranteed professional matches based on an idea that both parties were investing in the service. The matches were recruited and I dont know how but they didnt invest the way I did. I spent $5k on 3 matches because of the quality they promised. The first match was so bad they gave me an extra. Despite spending 6 months talking with a matchmaker, the results were all random men probably found on online websites. This is a scam and I feel they are preying on professional women. I signed up with Tawify on June 19 and paid them $8,000 for 8 dates. I met with matchmaker #1 who listened to all my preferences in a match. I was setup on a date for July 13 and the match was the complete opposite of what I was looking for (he was older, no career, had kids, not serious about marriage, also he told me he's been going on free dates through Tawify etc). I shared this feedback with my matchmaker and even talked to the client success team and they assured me that they have other great matches for me. They proposed another match for me who was outside of my age range and I declined the match. Matchmaker #1 informed me that because I'm black and also have a special needs child that it is hard for him to find a match for me. I decided to give it another try thinking maybe I had a bad matchmaker. I was setup with matchmaker #2 who found me another match after 2 weeks of waiting only for the match to inform ****** 2 days later that they are in an exclusive relationship. This shows proper vetting did not happen with any of these dates or potential matches. Tawify swears that they thoroughly vet all candidates before proposing a match but that is not true and as a paying client that is deceiving. To date I have received zero quality matches or dates and yet Tawify has taken my $8,000 and refuse to refund me my money. They take advantage of vulnerable people like me who are truly interested in finding their spouse and make grand promises of having 1 million+ matches in their database but they actually do not have alot of high quality matches available. They over advertise their service to make you think you could find the love of your life through them but then once they take all your money you find out that they actually cannot produce the results they are marketing. Also being told that because I am black it will be hard for them to find me a match but yet they refuse to refund my money is such a scam. This company should get shut down. I am rejecting this response because: I have been in contact with the Tawify customer service team multiple times regarding the lack of high quality matches they have provided to me despite taking $8,000. I have asked for a refund three different times and they refuse to give me my money back. Tawify has not been able to provide any of the services they advertise to me. I was informed by my previous matchmaker that because I am black with a disabled child that it is hard to find me matches. This company grossly misrepresented the service they could provide to a client such as myself. ****** has only produced me 3 matches the first one was a disaster date that met none of my preferences, the second one was out of my age preference, and the third was currently married (not a preference of mine) but I was open to a date only for this match to cancel last minute and state that he is in a relationship. Based off my experience Tawify does not have 1 million+ high quality matches available like they advertise because they have not been able to find me one suitable high quality match. They target vulnerable individuals such as myself who are sincerely interested in love and take advantage of us by promising that they have amazing matches only to take thousands of dollars (in my case $8,000) and not produce any high quality matches. I am a single mom to a disable child I cannot afford to and will not allow Tawify to scam me out of $8,000. I will definitely be pursuing legal action if they do not refund my money and will go on social media to warn others of this company, I have already shared this feedback with the customer service team and they are holding on to my money and refusing to give a refund (even a partial refund).

On December 10th, 2023, I purchased a package of 12 matches from Tawkify. I paid $12,000. During the call they allege that at the sixth month mark you can cancel to receive a partial refund. Now they are claiming that you can only claim that if it is an "internal match" that worked. Now they won't refund my money at all. I wasn't happy with the service and wouldn't recommend them that is on me for falling for their marketing. I am rejecting this response because: Please really respond to my request. Saying you are sorry that I am unhappy could be written by a robot (I am not saying you are but in today's age, I can't know for sure). I am asking a person at Tawkify to really look at what you offer and the way people read your refund policy. This is very expensive for a dating service that didn't meet my needs. And part of what the sales pitch is, is that it is worth signing up for a year because if you are unhappy at the six month ***** you can cancel the rest of the year and get a refund for the portion not used, which is all I am asking for. I am not asking for a full refund, just for the rest of the year that I don't want to use. If you are saying that is not real, then you need to change your marketing because it is highly misleading and feels like I was lied to.

I paid Tawkify $4410 on May 17, 2024 for 3 matches. My matchmaker was **************** from ***. I had a great conversation with them on May 24, and they helped me to identify my priorities and preferences for the matches. Next, I met with ***************************** on June 6, who was my dating coach. Once again, I had a great conversation and was looking forward to my first date. Well, let me get into how the scam unfolds. My first date was scheduled for 6/13. On 6/12, I receive a message that there was a miscommunication with my Matchmaker and the date needs to be rescheduled to 6/21. On 6/20, I receive a message from ****** that the date was cancelled. On 6/26, I am notified of a "new match". This date was scheduled for 7/12. On 7/8, I receive a message from Tawkify that again, the date needs to reschedule to 7/18 at 7:30pm. On 7/18 at 12:30pm, I receive a message that my date had a family emergency and they need to reschedule. I reviewed Tawkify's T&C's and was astonished at their unlawful and deceptive refund policy. After requesting a refund for NO dates and deceptive practices, Customer Success refuses to provide a refund and offers another match. For anyone reading these complaints, I do NOT recommend Tawkify. If you have single friends/family on IG or FB, please warn them. I encourage anyone contemplating Tawkify to read the reviews as an employer on Indeed. There you will read that even their employees admit to deceiving clients and how Tawkify is not aligned with the values they state that they have. Tawkify does not act in good faith to provide the services they advertise. They failed to provide ANY matches, wasted my *************** and it's disappointing knowing how they took advantage of my vulnerability (along with countless others). I am rejecting this response because: (a) I did not receive the services that I paid for. (b) I requested a refund on July 18, 2024 after Tawkify failed to deliver the services they promised. To date, they have not processed the refund. Their last response was that they do not offer refunds and they would offer an additional "match" which is frankly insulting when they were unable to provide any matches. (c) On July 22, 2024, I sent yet another demand request for failing to deliver the services I paid for and they have now gone dark.In short, as a customer of ********************** (or any business), I should have the ability to make informed decisions and have confidence in the agreements I enter into. After I paid Tawkify, I was never provided with their terms and conditions, a receipt, or information on how to cancel. The rep that "sold me", provided me with a slide deck on what I could look forward to. It's clear that Tawkify is a complete scam. I don't know of any company that would not try to rectify a situation with a customer after they failed to deliver a service that was paid for. Tawkify's practices are clearly fraudulent.

During these conversations, I was assured that this package would remain available for a lifetime.Due to being in a relationship, I did not use my account for some time. I purchased this service based on the quality they promised. I paid $4900 for 4 matches they will carefully select based on my criteria. I found they recruit men online and men dont pay for the dating women. The service manager suggested not to talk about their service because of this issue I believe. The company should make it clear to women who pay for the service. My option was the cheapest one. The service can be charged for $12,000 for 6 matches. Women who pay for the service will expect the man who is serious about dating. But Women pay for the service and when I confronted them they refused to give me a refund. I didnt use the service. I want the refund. I want every woman who is considering the service to know about this. They know it is not right so they offered me a half refund but I want the justice. Not half refund. We women paid at least $4900 up to $12,000 hoping for men who are serious in being a relationship. We dont want to meet someone who didnt pay for the service and can meet online dating app easily. It is not fair to women.
I specifically requested men with criteria.
