I paid $5250 for 6 dates. Even after paying $875/date, matchmakers didn't care what I was looking for. They sent me on dates where woman didn't come prepared for a date and they didn't know anything about me - my age, race, religion, dietary preferences etc. Most of them came to have a nice dinner and drinks.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because it's not a dating service. It's just an entertainment service. I'm 99% sure that the dates were fake and they were not serious about meeting someone. Instead, they came to have a nice dinner and drinks. Unfortunately, I got ripped me off. I hope that people learn from me and don't fall for it in the future.

A little over a year ago, I joined the matchmaking service Tawkify and several months ago I paid a lot of money for guaranteed matches (around $4.5K). Up until last month I have been working with the same matchmaker and she has been very supportive and helpful, but then she retired. Ever since I joined the service she, and everyone else (including my dating coach) has been very supportive of my criteria I have on my profile and what Im looking for in a match. But then, this morning, I got a text from the company essentially micromanaging my profile and telling me things like Youre not allowed to use the word intimacy on your profile and you cant be matched with someone whos older than you even though whenever I talked to my matchmaker she told me the exact opposite. She told me that I CAN be matched with people who are older than me and even when I talked to my dating coach about intimacy my dating coach gave me lots of good advice on how to initiate intimacy with a partner. And then, when I tried to call this person today, they refused to answer their phone and Im still waiting for my 3 matches that I paid for.Business Response

Tawkify needs to be shut down. I paid over $1200 for one match what was supposed to meet my criteria my criteria. He did not match my criteria at all other than he was male. They did not perform their end of the bargain and, hence, stole my money. I even sent pictures of the type of man I am looking for. If they could not find a man to meet my criteria then they could have simply not matched me. I was not made aware that I was not able to review a photo of the date until AFTER I signed up and they already had my money. Had I known this I never would have signed up. My 'match" was OPPOSITE of what I asked for. This whole experience has been traumatizing for me. Tawkify needs to be held accountable!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Tawkify false advertised services which I did not receive. There was no informed consent before I submitted payment because Tawkify did not make me aware that it would be a blind date, nor was I made aware that they were going to ignore my requirements for the one date I signed up for. I never would have signed up had I known it would be a blind date and the matchmaker would ignore my requirements. I request a full refund. Also,******'s customer service **** has shown zero empathy throughout this ordeal which is still affecting me over a year later!

I signed up for matchmaking services with Tawkify in October 2023. The service was NOTHING as described or explained. I ended up having surgery and pausing working with Tawkify and expressed concerns about the prior services rendered. I was reassigned to another matchmaker because the one originally assigned to me was removed from the company. The second matchmaker was friendly, but ended up not delivering services as discussed. Again I reached back out to customer service and have now been emailed by four different people. The services received were horrendous and nothing as described or explained. I have requested a refund, but immediately denied the request and transferred to different agent.Business Response

Back in 2020, I considered Tawkify and paid them $5,400. A couple of days later, before any matching services even started, I decided it was not the right time for me and cancelled. They were supposed to refund the dollars back then. I only "just now" became aware that the credit is still on my account and they never refunded the dollars given.I emailed them three days ago noting that there was an unprocessed credit on my account and could they please process it. The answer I received is I "forfeited" this credit??? What the heck does that mean? who in their right mind just walks away from over $5K. Absolutely ludicrous to say that. I stated that I never used their services, so the dollars are due back to me and there is no end date of when the refund is due back to the client in **, where I live.I have not heard back from them at all. I said to them - please do not make me escalate this to the State authorities. No word back. I am at a loss as to what to do at this point, but cannot even beleive this is how Tawkify behaves. NO SERVICES RENDERED and they think they should keep a significant dollar amount from me. I would even be ok if they said they were keeping $250 for the hassle, but the entire thing is madness.. I paid Tawkify $4900 to be a matchmaker for three men in three months. They matched me first with a man I had already dated myself three times. They then matched me with a second man who was ok but not my type. - Date of Transaction was June 27, 2023 - The amount of money I paid the business is $15,000.00 - TAWKIFY stated and contractually agreed they would make a personalized match to result In long term relationship and/or marriage including but not limited to going on a date, a personalized PROFESSIONAL, HIGHLY EXPERIENCE, and EDUCATED representative/matchmaker as well as a long list of additional services that were promised but NEVER provided these services EVER!- I put the claim in with my bank, ***** multiple times after multiple times and I have spent countless amount of hours upon hours for weeks at a time and was continuously told by Chase representation to "re-submit your claim" approximately 4 to 5 times - I contacted TAWKIFY customer service (with the contact they provided on their website) as well as my negligent, unethical and incompetent matchmaker named "*******" who was assigned to me and she never responded back to me with any concerns via TEXT MESSAGES and/or by EMAIL. I then contacted CUSTOMER SERVICE saying repeatedly " I have not been provided with the services of going on dates in which MATCH MY preferences and specific needs specified I provided to my matchmake *******. IN WHICH I PAID FOR THESE PROMISED HIGH END, EXCLUSIVE MATCH MAKING GUARANTEED FOR $15,000.00... WHICH I ENDED UP spending literally hours, days, and weeks of my time GOING IN CIRCLES and getting nowhere as they were of not help to get me a refund .I SPENT $15,000.00 FOR NOTHING IN RETURN All and all, I was seeking a long term relationship and/or marriage for my future, and after doing extensive research for matchmakers, Tawkify only was a scam.I DO NOT have the time and energy to weed through men trying to find my partner on dating sites and VET THEM as they are strangers as I have a very high-level career/profession working ***** hours a week , and have no time to do the search (doing it myself). I am rejecting this response because:this is absolutely so unprofessional and absurd as I contacted Tawkify customer service asking for why I could not get my hard earned $15,000.00 to find love and find out that I was totally scammed for nothing , absolutely NOTHING in return but hours and weeks of my time with complete anguish and frustration and a charge to my credit card of a huge amount of money . I am a business owner and work ***** hours a week and dont have time to date online and/or vet potentional future partners ON MY OWN so I thought matchmaking would be the next best thing but I was so wrong and just want my money that was taken from me.
Please understand I know how an ethical business runs and this company is the exact oppositei deserve my funds back of $15,000.

On 3/19/2024, I purchased a package of 3 dates with Tawkify match making service. This was a complete waste of a very large amount of money compared to the matches I was provided. The first of the dates I went on didn't meet 2 of my non-negotiable criteria of wanting children and having a stable job. The second date asked me if I ever did any drugs (eye-opener), and was against my religion. Both criteria I had explained to the match maker that I obviously did not want a future partner that does drugs, and I would prefer some type of religious belief system. The third date was of a different country of origin that I had specifically outlined for my match maker, and he was very rude and egotistical on the date. Based on the $4,900.00 I spent, this was a complete waste of my hard-earned money and time. I don't believe the men from the pool of men that are selected for dates are completely interested in finding a long term, committed relationship. The man from the second date I was on told me he was contacted by a recruiter asking if he wanted to be in the pool of men. This is faulty advertising when Tawkify makes it seem like these men are interested in finding a connected future partner.Business Response

Tawkify promised 6 matches in local area that were hand picked and interviewed just for the me/client but after speaking with the dates most were from a pool of extras when they could not find someone, instead of being honest or partial refund offered, it was fraudulent and waste of my money and time. Took over a year to that, I asked for additional dates as compromise for lack of effort etc but they refused. Very suspicious process. Two of my friends had similar experience.Business Response
