1 starAffirm is illegally holding my account from being closed I hve called twice and was told by one lady that the money acct person would close my account which I never opened then actively close my acc. But they keep saying need your address I gave it to him before I even started talking to him. I Shldnt hve to repeat myself this was supposed to be done back on Aug 6 when I first called in but I never received anything from this company now they r still refusing to close my acct. that is so illegal and fraudulent and I wanna take legal action against this company.

1 starFickle, untrustworthy company. I had a great line of credit after paying off two dozen loans over the years. Never late, often paid off early. Then, in a blink of an eye, all of my credit was gone. No explanation. Just gone. They basically said, "Yeah. You've been a great customer but we don't really trust you anymore, so no more credit for you."Affirm.com

Because we consider each transaction separately, the amount that you can borrow from Affirm will be dependent on the information that we have at the given time. Just because your loan wasnt approved for this particular purchase doesnt mean you can never obtain financing with Affirm. You are welcome to try again in the future.Affirm.com

1 starI have been trying for at least 2 months to get this resolved with both Affirm and **** ******. I recently purchased from ********************* in May 2025 using the Affirm. While in store I decided to use the Affirm app to pay for the purchase, while completing the order Affirm declined the entire order without explanation. The supervisor who was assisting me informed me that it was probably due to it being a in-store and online order and Affirm is known for declining those orders. So we redid the whole order with just the in-store items and wrapped up. The declined order still showed up in the app as processing. Affirm likes to take their time with completing their end of any issue and I decided to wait for the order to just fall off since it declined. I was notified via the app that a payment needed to be made. I contacted the company inquiring why a payment was needed when the order declined on their end. I have been informed that ** still took the money (LB could not have if the order never processed) and I needed to reach out the LB. I reached out to LB and was essentially told it falls on Affirm since I have proof that the I only have one order. I have submitted proof to Affirm that the only order that was submitted was for the second order that was actually submitted and shipped. Affirm is saying that the only way they will accept the loan being invalid is if LB submits a letter stating that the order is not in their system despite me providing the receipt with the order and last 4 of the card number used on the loan. I have been dealing with this since June with multiple disputes and Affirm will not accept the proof that has been submitted. I shouldn't be held responsible for an order that was never processed due to this company declining the order in store. Affirm needs to do their part and get this handled as I have done all that I can and even with the proper proof being submitted. This company needs shut down if this is how issues are handled.Affirm.com

1 starI have used affirm for 4 years with no late payments. This last week I had several payments of the same amount that kept showing that the payment didn't go through. My debit card was stolen but I updated all of my new information. I received a notification my payment was 5 days late suddenly even though the previous week I manually paid it. They reported it to my credit in less than a week, 5 days. And it dropped 55 points despite having the money in full and the correct card information online with the app. I called customer service and it was no help. They contract out of the country for pennies on the dollar while collecting tons of interest from Americans. I will get an American credit card from now on. This is an absolute scam.Affirm.com

1 starIve called about my account 4 times with no help or results. Ive tried to change my name and dispute an application rejection with no help at all. All of my information except my first name is correct and I have multiple IDs and documents to prove, which I sent in upon request to do so. I just needed a loan for $2000 for school and was told I could go through affirm to do so. My request was rejected because they couldnt confirm my identity so I called, said I would get an email and that it would have more information and ways I could resolve this. Did not get an email. Called back and said the same thing along with maybe the reason why my application was denied in the first place. Told me I had to verify my identity and change my name to my first name (not nickname which I used). So I did that and waited. Now its tell me my phone number cant be verified although they literally use my phone number to verify me when I use the app. So Im done I would like to close my account and you will not be getting any business from me anymore. I will also be letting everyone I know who even thinks about using affirm that this company is horrible and unprofessional.Affirm.com

1 starI have been an Affirm user for quite some time. However, just recently I ordered something from Palias Living and I went through the Affirm payment plan because I was unsure if this company was a scam or not. It turns out that this company is a scam. I opened multiple disputes with a firm because I could not get in touch with anyone from Palias Living. In these disputes, I sent them compelling evidence showing that this company is a scam store. I sent them screenshots of the emails that were returned to me saying no such email exist, I sent them screenshots of the website that says no such website exist, and I sent them screenshots of articles stating that this company was a scam storefront. Each dispute came back in favor of Palias Living, with Affirm stating that they got in touch with the company and the company gave them a tracking number stating that my product was delivered. I asked Affirm how they were getting in touch with the company so that I could call them, they stated they were not allowed to give me that information. I also asked what shipping company the tracking came from, they were not allowed to give me that information and because I told them that I will not pay for something I did not get, they are turning my account into the credit bureau. Ive feel that they are calling me a liar, which they can see my past accounts with a firm, and I have always paid everything on time. I am very upset and appalled that there is information on the website that can clearly state there is no website that exist. It is a scam tracking number. They cant even give me the shipping company, nor will they give me the contact for Palias Living. Beware!Affirm.com

1 starI have used affirm and didn't like the items, I have returned to the vendor and the vendor show proof of the return money to affirm and they wont credited to my acoound end it up paying almos $2,000 for many items that I have returned to original vendor, I hope they can stop this kind of act it is not fear how they get our money, I have been fighting with them since February for a reimbursed.Affirm.com

1 starve used Affirm in the past with no issuesuntil now. Unfortunately, I ordered a product that was never delivered and reached out to Affirm to investigate. I followed the proper steps and opened a dispute, but was disappointed to see Affirm side with what is clearly a fraudulent company.The purchase was only $194, but its the principle that matters. I provided clear evidence that the company was a scam, including the *** and email, yet Affirm still chose to support the merchant. Even worse, they threatened to report this to the credit bureausdespite my clean history and effort to do the right thing.This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. While *** previously trusted Affirm, I will no longer be using their service once my current obligations are fulfilled.Affirm.com

1 starUsed affirm to purchase a ******* phone. During the sign up phase it took my discover card information to use for monthly payments. Sent me a confirmation email with what my payments would be and stated that with my excellent credit that I would be not charged interest. But when my first bill came due they would not accept my card. They wanted all my info to my bank account so they could draw from it directly. That was the only way to pay going forward. NO way was I going to do that! And they were now going to charge me interest. That's called bait and switch, which is illegal. I finally got there adress to send a check after going through 2 chat bots. Going to send it all and be done with them crooks.Affirm.com
