Im extremely disappointed with HIMS. I clearly told them to cancel my order before it shipped, and they refused. Their customer service is completely unhelpful its just a repeated no with no effort to resolve anything.Worse, they dont notify you of subscription renewals, which is illegal in many states. If my credit card had declined, they wouldnt have shipped anything but because it went through, theyre forcing the shipment even though I asked to cancel within 5 minutes of getting the charge. Its dishonest and feels like a scam.This shipment will be rejected, and I expect a full refund. HIMS needs to be held accountable and their investors should be aware of this harmful consumer tactics.Business Response

I ordered some hair loss pills using the ************************** website on Monday April 7th. Within minutes I cancelled the subscription (there was no cancel order option). The site told me I had cancelled my subscription successfully, within a few minutes. Fast forward to today (9th), I get an email from them saying my order is preparing to ship. I contacted them and they stated that there was nothing they could do now. I check the tracking number and **** has not even received the shipment as of yet on the 9th. I understand that I agreed to the order, but do not understand how an order that would not ship for 2 more days cannot be cancelled.Business Response

I was going through my emails, there was one from Hims/Hers about a hair loss pill. I thought Id go ahead and read it since I started losing my hair after my fianc of 19years passed suddenly. I started to answer their questions but then they wanted more personal information, card numbers, medical information, etc. So I quit answering their questions. I closed the email and went about my day. Then about a week after I started their questionnaire, I received a box in the mail. I opened it, and was surprised to find a bottle of hers pills. Also, these are prescription only pills. Concerned about these pills I called customer service to ask how I got a prescription without filling anything out. The pills cost 175$! I explained that I DID NOT order these, I would not ever pay that much for a hair loss pill since my doctor said its stress from the death of ***** and that I dont need pills. I also asked how they could send these out since theyre a prescription only? What ** fills these? Are they legit? I also said everything in these pills, I can buy at *******. I asked for a refund again. The representative got a little snippy and said if you didnt order these, why do you want a refund? I told her because obviously my card was hacked and I was charged the full price. I just want my money back. Also, if Im going to spend that much money online, Id use ******, Not a credit card. I even spoke to a supervisor, he said there is nothing they can do. I told him these pills are only B&C vitamins, ****** and *********. How do you know Im not allergic to these ingredients? I also said all these ingredients are over the counter items that anyone can get. Again, I never filled out anything completely. I said I simply want the charges off my card. I asked about the ** *** filled the prescription. I got nowhere. I cancelled my card, and now Im writing this. The bottle has a prescription number, **, pharmacy, phone number & the **s name. I am looking to ****** a subscription with the company. There was no notification, email blast, or otherwise heads-up that the item was set the renew. I did not know about the subscription until they had charged me. Even though the order is being processed and the charge on my credit card was yesterday night, I have reached out to cancel the subscription and the pending order. However, I was instead given an automated chat response saying that nothing can be done. I would like to continue using the company and its services going forward, but it is really hard to do so when there is little to no customer service and support.Business Response

I am filing this complaint because I feel I have been taken advantage of by Hims & Hers Health through a lack of transparency and poor customer service. Recently, I was charged $395 for a prescription refill through an auto-renewal subscription that I was not aware was still active. I had signed up for this service a long time ago and had not received any notice or reminder that I was due to be billed again. In fact, I still have a large supply of the previous order and had no reason to believe a refill was needed or would be sent.Upon noticing the charge, I immediately reached out to customer support, explained the situation, and asked if the order could be canceled and refunded. Unfortunately, they refused, despite the fact that the medication had not yet been shipped and that I had no intention of continuing the subscription. Their response showed no flexibility or concern for the financial burden this unexpected charge caused **** believe Hims & Hers failed to notify me of the upcoming charge in a reasonable or clear manner and relied on the auto-renewal to charge my account without my informed consent. This experience has left me feeling misled and taken advantage of by a company I trusted with sensitive health information.I have since gone ahead and canceled my subscription to ensure I am never charged again. At this point, I am requesting a full refund of the $395 for the unwanted and unneeded medication.Business Response

I purchased an order on October 29, 2024, thinking it was a one time order for a dose to last 5 months. I received a single email confirming that my current order was placed, but no notification or email whatsoever that I had started a subscription. Less than five months later (March 18th 2025), with no additional emails/notifications/messages from the company, I was notified out of the blue that a new order had been fulfilled, and that it was already too late to cancel or receive a refund by the time the notification had been sent.Business Response

On 3/20/2025 I purchased two items from Hims&Health: 1. Finasteride/Minoxidil Chewable Pills - $175.00 2. ****** Gummies - $21.00 Unfortunately, both items were deemed unsafe to take and caused life threatening effects. Requesting a refund of $196.00 as the products are unsafe to consume. Reached out to Hims for assistance and they refused to provide a refund.Business Response

Attempted to cancel an order, was told I have to cancel 48 hours before shipment, but no notice of upcoming shipment ever gets sent from them. The only notices come after they have already charged and shipped. They then say that they will not accept returns, even if the box they send is never opened.Business Response

Recently noticed a charge for a HIMS product. This subscription was supposed to have stopped months ago after I received the last shipment. I performed this action in the app. Only to find the subscription is still active and another shipment is on the way. This product isnt needed and from the frequency at which the next shipment was set. Would make no sense to set it that far out at the frequency in which it says the medication is to be taken. Not getting any notification of the subscription about to be renewed also never took place. I have went through and again canceled the subscription. Even that was not clear in the app on where to do it. I will no longer utilize their services due to the practice of almost trapping users to keeping their subscriptions.Business Response
