Despite email contacts, the company continues to text me with request for payment for parking. I have told them 6 times that this was not me using the service and requested the remove/cancel any account associated with me to be closed. Yet, it continues to happen.Initial Complaint

Please read the attached email conversation in reverse order. In between the $88 fee and the $25.49 fee, I was offered a $60 amount over the phone. I was in the lot for 2 hours. If the $25.49 they charged me was for a whole day, there was nothing saying the lot was for the whole day rather than per hour. The city parking a few yards away on the street is $1.50/hour between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM. I still dont know what AirGarage charges by the hour. They never told me. I gave up because I had already spent many frustrating hours trying to take care of the "ticket". I also talked to the restaurant. They have had a number of patrons complaining about the lot and its practices. So, I know its not just me and my friends having difficulty.When we arrived in the afternoon and there were no cars in the lot, we thought we were just an early group. However, the restaurant never had more than one other patron. The food is good and reasonably priced. I cant help but wonder if the parking situation impacts that. In talking with the restaurant, it has no connection to the parking lot. AirGarage owns the lot. Its an open air space that is about the size of a small business footprint. AirGarage has apparently not been receptive to discussion from the restaurant about the problems with the lot.Initial Complaint

On 11/12/24, we dropped off a package to a friend who lived in the building where the garage was. After dropping off the package, we received this text that we were charged for a day's worth of parking plus a fee, for an entire 2 minute trip where we never left the car and waited for the friend to come down and pick up the package. The charge was unauthorized and there was no indication that this charge was happening and sent via text, after the fact with no chance to resolve the issue.Initial Complaint

I was given a parking ticket for parking in the customer parking area. From where my car was parked to the restaurant I went to which was cheba hut, there were no posted signs that we had to park. Last time we came we didn't have to park here. When we got back I got ticket for parking there. It says customers of these establishments get 2 hours free. They are trying to charge me 78$ to park here, when we have proof that there was no posted sign saying we had to park. After we got the ticket we went back to ***** hut, where they gave us the code. You have to go inside to even get the code and in that short time they will come and give you a ticket. This needs to be removed immediately or we will seek further actions. Since we were paying customers and there less than 2 hours this needs to be adjusted and removed.Initial Complaint

On September 1, 2024, Air Garage assumed ownership of the garage located at **********************************************************************************, where I have been parking since 2005. I contacted them and they agreed to charge me the same $450.00 plus tax rate (which includes an SUV surcharge) that I have been most recently paying. I paid this invoice and have a receipt. When I log in to the portal, my monthly rate correctly reads $450.00. Today, they charged my credit card $550.00 plus tax. This rate was not posted in the garage until this week and is different from the rate we agreed to on August 31, 2024. I believe they are price-gauging desperate consumers. I want to pay the rate that they agreed upon in the first place when I contacted them via their website. It is impossible to get them on the phone. Furthermore, the security gate is broken and is being left open while they wait for a new gate to be installed. There are no security cameras and no attendants. The garage is left open and unattended 24 hours a day. I am a woman who comes to the garage alone day and night, and I am fearful for my safety.Initial Complaint

It was my 1st time going to downtown ****** for a court case. I pulled into this public parking lot and did not see any signs about having to pay for parking. I was there from 9:30 to about 11:30. When I got back to my car there was a ticket on my windshield. I was still unable to locate where to pay for parking until I drove to the back of the lot and saw two very hidden poles that I could not see from the front of the lot. The discounted cost for this 2 hour parking was $88.00. I think this is highway robbery and can't believe they are getting away with this.Initial Complaint

On 7/13/2024, I reserved parking in Downtown ******* through an app called *********. This is an app that allows you to find parking spots available and prepay for the parking. I paid $25.19 for the parking as evidence by the attached receipt. The Parking was on *****************************On 9/13/24, I received the attached Parking Fee request from **********. Although this is not a government ticket from a municipality, it appears to be valid ticket. The request is for $110.25 for parking and fees.This appears to be a blatant attempt to scare the customer and scam the driver for additional money.The company advertising parking at this location is AirGarage. 9/2/2024 I worked in the ******************** in downtown *******. I scanned the ** code to pay to park, and the AirGarage website states daily rates and hourly. I was charged $60 for 1.15 minutes. I was told via email that it was a flat rate lot, but when log in to pay (last night) the rates were not present. When you go to the site today, the rates are present and it is HOURLY and listed at $8.03 and hour, max of $21 a day, not $60. This is FRAUD as it states NOWHERE on the site or the lot that is a FLAT RATE lot and the *** *** told me that it was, however, the website states otherwise.*** ***: Hello! I received a receipt for parking recently from Airgarage.com.I stayed 3 nights at $10 per night. The receipt is for $40, not $30. The nightly rate of $10 was for Honors members of ******, as explained by the desk receptionist at ******. I stayed the night of August 13, 14, and 15. When I reached out to Airgarage, they gave a cut and paste reply regarding hourly fees and free coupons. Neither reply was related to my concern. I asked the customer service to escalate to their management, and to contact me. They told me to reach out to the hotel. The hotel told me the parking is handled by a 3rd party, and to reach out to the Airgarage (which I already did. Airgarage is not willing to provide a refund, or to provide a process for dispute, or to escalate the complaint to their management. On August 15th I pull into the parking lot and stopped so I could use the ** code (which is too small, so I had to type in the phone number). This is a necessary step to find out what the rate is. I decided not to park there based on the rate. I never got out of my car. I left the lot to park somewhere else. I get a text saying that a session was started on my behalf charging me the daily rate PLUS a $12 service fee. Apparently this is a predatory practice of your company, based on the other reviews.
