      I have reviewed the previous complaints. It is true that more people will complain instead of complement when it comes to services. I have had quite the opposite experience. Now this goes back awhile but I had my solar panels installed June 6-7, 2018 and it was an excellent experience. The guys that did the job were awesome and a week later after *********** finally gave permission to activate the system, it has performed flawlessly. I signed up for this install through ****** and I don't know if that had anything to do with the install but I am totally happy with it. The only complaint I had was the high tear down and replacement cost while doing a roof replacement. After getting screwed by another contractor hired to do this during the roof replacement, I wished I would have just paid Sunrun for a job that would have been done right.

      On 4/28/25, I reached out to Sunrun via email advising them that a street over from my residence caught fire. The investigation by the ************************************ determined that a rodent had caused the fire with the Solar Panels. The Fire ******** advised all homeowners with Solar Panels to engage with the solar panel provider to do routine maintenance checks. No one responded to the email, but I got a text 4/30/25 stating that they were running a check on my panels there and they would get back to me in 3 days to schedule a check on the panels. I gave them 4 working days, and I reached out to them again because no one had contacted me. The gentleman on the end of the phone proceeded to tell me that the in house run on my solar panels advised they were not generating anything. #1-why was I not contacted in a timely manner before I had to call and ask the status. He could not advise me as to why I had not been contacted. Then he proceeded to tell me that the earliest appointment for someone to come check on my panels was 7/30/25, yes, over more than 2 months away. So, I asked him, so my panels are not producing anything to the grid so that means that I am losing money until the panels can be fixed? He still could not answer me and at this point this is unacceptable. Stop worrying with getting new customers and take care of your existing customers with highly important issues. Also, all this has been documented and saved and in the event of a fire at my residence, you have been told, and you are putting me off and will have to answer to higher **** I need answers now!

      This company is a scam. There salesman lie there butts off to make a sale and leave home owner just plain screwed and dont care . I had to cut off my cable and hang my clothes on the line because I cant afford this junk . People say away

      I have been a SUNRUN customer since Oct 2021. Just recently NOV. 2024 my solar just stopped working nobody contacted me or even knew of the situation until I called and complained because I noticed my electricity bill had skyrocketed. I also noticed that there was no connection from my solar. Since then I have called, ,sent letter and emails and they take months to get back to me and on top of that they keep rescheduling my solar appointments without contact. There has been no effort to inspect the issue or help at all I have lost all hope with this company. I dont even know what to do I feel like I have been scammed and pushed into a corner because my electricity bills have been thousands of dollars a month and still paying the solar loan that doesnt even work. I have millions of receipts and emails from this company of neglect and terrible customer service. It is now MAY 6 and my ********************** is still off going on almost a full year of me contacting. Legal action may be the only way to get help from someone.

      Fast talking saleman promises you updates to electrical systems in your home at no cost. All lies no truth to his words. Nothing but a big SCAM, Solar panels only account for 15% of their capacity. Saleman states that Domion will be paying you for energy. All BS.

      We Signed a contract Lease Sunrun on June 29, 2021. Been Having Problems with Sunrun's solar system from Oct. 2024 and started to monitor our electrical bill which has been going up. From $75.00 to $100.00 monthly to now $279.00 last month. Contacted Sunrun in Jan. 2025 stating there was a problem, and they stated that are aware of the problem. They said that they will run and monitor a Systems Analysis. We called the electric company in March 2025 to see if they see a problem and they stated that they are not receiving a draw if any from the solar system. No call No show on a schedule home appointment on April 23, 2025, between 7:00 am - 1200 pm HST. numerous phone call to them and get the same story (Running a System Analysis and are aware of the problem).

      Sunrun double charged my account and will not give me a timely refund. I'm asking them to resolve this now but they are insisting it will take 3 to 4 weeks. I should not have to wait on a mistake to rectify at my expense when a company wrongfully charged my account. I'm really upset with their service and have to constantly monitor my account now.

      I hope that people read the reviews because I have no idea how Sunrun has a so-called A+ rating from BBB. The final straw:Sunrun damaged our property and admitted fault (after more than 6 months of having to chase them down about this) and now is only willing to give us some compensation (not even the full amount) for the damages if we sign a document that absolves them of any responsibility and asks us to be silent about all these issues. Wow, this is how they treat their customers?!Other issues too numerous to go into detail:Botched installation Electrical not done to code, failed inspection and had to be re-done, adding months Took more than a year to get working The app was initially connected to someone elses property Required no less than 10 site visits , each time we had to make sure to be home, requiring significant time on our part Unresponsive and disrespectful customer service Trash and waste (including sharp objects and tools) were left all over our property and backyard where kids play. We had to clean up after them several times. I love the idea of going solar and really wanted to like Sunrun. We gave them every chance to shine however we were left deeply disappointed. If solar was an industry where there was lots of repeat business (as opposed to one-time sales) I am sure this company would no longer be in business. Unfortunately once you work with them you are stuck with them for the life of your system.

      They are blaming the quote they made with full knowledge of the project to justify the extra fee. They are unable to provide any evidence that the fee actually applies to anything specific. These are fraudulent fees. Do not do business with these cheats.
