SunRun contacted digsafe and had property marked for digging prior to me agreeing to have any modification or work done to alter my property.I consulted police advised SunRun to cease any work at my property, cease any attempts to open unauthorized permits, and not to contact me again. I further communicated in writing to SunRun office that I wish to cease all communications and contracts given their lack of transparency.SunRun representatives in corporate apparel continue to knock on my door. These solicitors do not match the appearance of any licensed solicitors for my town and arrived in a vehicle with plates which also do not match plate numbers or physical descriptions of for any licensed solicitors for my town. (In my town, a soliting license is required by town by-law.)These solicitors from SunRun continued to try to "sell me" after I told them to leave and explained SunRun has been here before and there is a police report detailing prior interaction. These unlicensed solicitors continued to stand at my door until I firmly repeated for a third time that they needed to "leave my property immediately".There is now a second police report detailing this companies behavior. If SunRun solicitors bother me again, I will be exploring my legal options regarding tresspass and harassment. I really wanted to like this company. I still want to install solar panels on my home. I support informing people about the benefits and their options. I dont really even generally mind solicitors... but if I ask a company to leave me alone and stay off my property, involve the police, and they still do not listen, then they do not deserve an BBB A+ rating, and instead should probably be investigated by consumer protection agency or other applicable authorities.Sunrun, Inc.

I will never recommend Sunrun to anybody else. They are liars, and they are careless. For the past three months the system has been down, and they never sent a technician to solve the problem, and they charge me every month. Now I'm paying National Greed, and Sunrun at the same time, and when I called costumer service, they told me even if the system is not generating any electricity, I still have to pay, because that's the contract that I signed. According to them. Also, I asked them to remove the panels over my roof, but they refused to and told me that the contract was for 25 years.Sunrun, Inc.

VERY upsetting to see how badly they have treated all their customers. I only have 8 wasted hours and ********************************************************* their system. SO FRUSTRATING. Would NEVER suggest ANYONE USES them in the future. Steer clear!Sunrun, Inc.

I wish I could leave negative stars! The panels are not registering. Sunrun charges $600 just to come out to see what the problem is. When we bought the panels from ******, service was to be included. Sunrun took over the contract to maintain the panels and now we have to pay or leave the useless panels sitting on the roof doing nothing. $30,000 down the drain. They have never generated enough power to pay for themselves as promised. Solar is all a scam. Nothing but trouble. Never got the Government rebate that was promised either.Sunrun, Inc.

Customer for over 4 years. Received service for less than 2 years of the 4 years I was a customer. In 2025, ********************** informed me that they no longer have a "bill pausing" option. Which meant and resulted in me having to pay for service I was not receiving. Four representatives and 2 supervisors reminded me that I entered into a contract with Sunrun and there was no option to terminate my contract even if I was not receiving the service that I am paying for. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!Sunrun, Inc.

I was misled I was lied to when they approached me to sign documents for sunren I was told I would get a battery for the solar panel did not receive I was told that it would pay off itself my bills were the same I've asked them many times to come and get their panels all they do is send me bills to pay for something I was supposed to receive do not trust Sunrun. Sunrun hires unsafe and unprofessional drivers. Their driver rear-ended me this week, then came out of his truck on the main road speaking foul language aggressively and blaming me for something that clearly was not my fault. When I asked for his driving license and insurance info, he again spoke in a loud and threatening manner, didnot provide me the info for over thirty minutes. My car got damaged, I felt very scared and unsafe. Do better driver screening Sunrun!!Sunrun, Inc.

I just had a squirrel's nest removed from under one of my panels. Sunrun is refusing to pay for the panel removal and squirrel guard installation because it is claiming the damage to my roof that resulted in a leak in my attic is not a problem with the system production. However, the squirrels wouldn't have been there if there wasn't a panel wasn't present for them to live under. It seems to me there is some culpability. They should at least pay to have the panel removed.When the Sunrun-authorized roofer was removing the panel to clear the nest and fix the damage, he noticed a bundle of cables to one of the panels had been slashed--not chewed--SLASHED, as in with a knife. The only other time anyone touched those panels was when an authorized Sunrun agent re-installed them three years ago, after I had my roof replaced. That means for three years I have had an inoperative panel and no one notified me. I was never contacted about system under performance, and when I check my production on the app, it always says, "System healthy". This is the same company that lied to me nine years ago about covering panel removal costs in the event I needed roof work completed. ****. I had to pay nearly $4,000 to get the panels removed so I could fix my roof, then wait four months to get them back on. I am so done with this company. I love the idea of having solar panels, but they are more of a headache than they're worth.Sunrun, Inc.
