      My husband an I had UFC Gym membership from 2018-2020. After Covid shut down in-person gym access, we both cancelled our membership and moved out of State in June of 2020. They continued to charge my husband and I monthly fee. After numerous calls he was able to get to them to stop charging him since we had cancelled and spoke with the representative multiple times. However, they continue to charge me $76 every month since. We have called and cancelled multiple times and been assured that we wont be charge any longer. I have already paid more than $2000 since I have cancelled the membership multiple times.

      I go to ******************. I canceled my personal trainer towards the end of April due to late notice of my deployment. And yet they still charged me for it. My personal trainer no longer works there so im paying for nothing. I called and talked to the front decks multiple times for a refund and they still refused.

      I paid in full up front for buy one year and get 2 years I had a life change where I had no choice to move and I was only at like 6 to 8 I cant remember exact time frames of date started months of my membership and where I moved the closest ufc fit is 3 plus hours away I requested and gave almost two months notice I had to move and was told no refunds or transfers I feel this is not ok that my money just gets kept in a circumstance like this I am requesting for a refund

      I have cancelled my membership and they processed this but now they will not return calls or emails regarding my promised refund.

      This is the third time UFC has raised my monthly rate when its not specified in the contract that they can do so. The other 2 times they returned the monthly dues back to **** a month, but they never gave me a refund. Now theyve raised my monthly just .90 cents. I would appreciate it if they would again return my monthly dues back to what was stated in my contract which they do have a copy of.

      Thank you for letting us know about the member's concern.   The increase of monthly **** was due to a company wide annual **** increase.  Each member was notified of the increase on their account at least 30 days prior to the **** increase taking effect.   We could adjust the monthly back to $9 for this member.  We have added a credit of $1.80 to the next billing invoice.

      I had membership with this gym over 10 years ago and now theyre claiming that my account was open within the past few years and I owe them money. I spoke with management 2 times about this matter and they said its been resolved but I still getting calls about a balance owed. I tried calling them again and nobody is responding to me calls. They just keep taking a message and tell me someone will call me back about this

      8/30/2022 I upgraded my month-to-month membership from $99. by paying $875.for 36 months upfront.However, I kept getting charged monthly even though I was no longer supposed to.I contacted the gym manager several times with receipts from the bank.I had to keep contacting the gym manager each month for the next several months each time that I was once again charged because my original membership evidently had not been upgraded or canceled.Manager would not get back to me right away and when she did,she said that the problem would be resolved, and I that would get refunded for the erroneous charges that I submitted proof about.She would tell me that she would call me with an update and then not do so.One of my payments was refunded but I am still trying to get the other two payments refunded from the early autumn months when this started happening.This has been a huge inconvenience for me as I had to keep calling the bank , holding for a representative to dispute the charges.I had to get another debit card and change all of my payment information for my accounts.I had to do without a debit card for a few days until a replacement card arrived.I had to keep calling the gym to get this situation resolved only to be told that they would get back to me but they did not until I contacted them for follow-up.Tonight, I received an email from the gym manager stating that the refund was supposed to have been submitted on 1/31/23.Again, In the fall the manager told me that the refunds were submitted. I only received a refund for one erroneous payment that was deducted from my account.I informed her of this via email and she did not reply.The bank in which the funds were erroneously taken from, Citibank, requested proof that the initial membership had been canceled or settled. I asked the manager for this proof didn't get it.I do not even want to go to this gym anymore and I want a refund on my membership of 36 months in the amount that I paid $875.

      Thank you for your concern regarding your account.   After reviewing the membership we do see there was a refund of the monthly charge on the account.   The refund was processed on February 14, 2023.   As far as a refund for the prepaid, was a request submitted as a 5 day cancellation meaning the request to cancel was submitted within 5 days of signing up for the prepaid membership.   We would provide a prorated refund on prepaid memberships if the member moves more than ******************************************************************* if the member unforunately becomes permanantly disabled with proof from a doctor.   If one of the three apply please reach back out to us so we could further assist you.

      Back in August or September of ********************************************************************* the process of starting an academy at my place of employment. I was told I was able to keep the membership on hold for up to two months. I started reaching out to the front desk, both in person and by phone to have the hold removed; each time I was told that the club manager is the only person able to remove the hold and that she would be in later that day and or unavailable. This went on for at least three weeks. Fed up with the poor service, I finally waited for an hour or two for "the manager" to become available. He then "assisted" me and told me my plan is now active and that he saved me $10 per month. Immediately thereafter, my account began showing cancelled. Each time that I would show up at the gym different staff members would tell me that my membership was cancelled. I knew that was incorrect as I proof of my recurring payments. Yesterday, I visited the Plantation location and was again told that my membership was cancelled. I explained to the representative the issue that I was having at the ************** location. She returned to the counter and told me that my membership was restricted to the Pines location only. I was very shocked to hear that as I did not make any change(s) to my membership. There is no way I would have chosen to restrict myself to the ************** location with my home address being ***** mins away. I have reached out to the club manager on multiple occasions both by telephone and email, she has not returned any of my calls and or email.

      I had a regular monthly membership with the gym and once used the personal training program in beginning of 2022. I cancelled this training in March 2022 and in September 2022 they charged me $643 and change without any authorization. I cancelled this training via phone. I made multiple attempts to reach out and request refund to be issued. I received no response. I made several more attempts later but at this point i involved my bank in an unauthorized charge. I have been going back and forth since September trying to get my money back. I spoke with the director ************** who confirmed that refund was issued on 11/7/2022 but i spoke with my bank several times and they said that no refund actually processed or attempt was made to process refund. To this day i can't get my money back. This is the worst experience i have with such a gym. I would like to file this claim in hopes of getting my money back in a check form. In the case that this is not resolved within the next couple of weeks i intend to file a law suit against the gym. But before i proceed in this direction, i would like to first go through BBB. Please note i no longer have any membership with this gym.
