As you can see from the pictures, my membership was canceled on 5/10/22. It autorenewed without my awareness on 4/12/23. I don't have any email saying anything along the lines of "your membership had been renewed", so I had no clue. I got an email today (a year later) saying the payment won't process.... we have new credit cards. I emailed someone today to complain with beachbody. I asked for a refund, but told them I would settle for a year of service (the year I paid for) from 2024-2025. One sick look and they can see that I never used the membership because I thought it was canceled correctly. In general, the customer service agent was confusing and didn't seem to understand what I was saying. She said that she did see the cancelations but it was to a subscription, not a membership. However, if you look at the images, everything before 4/12/2023 was canceled.... so I'm not sure what was left to autorenew.I did find an email **** said that they were going to automatically enroll me in a membership that was free for 30 days. This was when they switched from beachbody to Bodi. I'm taking this to mean they reinstated my canceled account, which feels illegal. I never even opened that email because the title was "upgrading your membership- important changes" which doesn't specifically tell me what they are doing to canceled memberships. I didn't want to upgrade my membership, so I didn't open it. I suspect this is a tactic the company is used to. That email was sent on 3/8/23 The email I got today said "action required", so when they want or attention, they know how to get it.I have another email on 12/22/22, entitled "come back, ******" which clearly indicates an understanding that I had canceled my membership.What it seems to me is that beachbody decided to renew to membership without my approval.
