I'm not sure how this company is rated A+. They don't allow partial refunds, and they are impossible to get a hold of. The best they did was have a number you can text just to tell you that you cant get a refund off their subscription services, even a day after the charge was initiated. It's showing it's age and that it's circling the drain.Review from C. C.

Recently found out beachbody has been charging is $179.99 a year , for over 5 years...without providing ANY products or services . This company is now **** , with whom I will follow up with a review for them . Im not one to hop on and review a company only after negative experience , beachbody started out great. They scam you out of a yearly membership. Even if you try to cancel prior to when it is billed, they tried to trap me in a lie that I knew about the renewal when I didnt even have access to that email address and had already cancelled my membership. I was refused a $180+ refund when I called just hours after it was billed. Its a yearly membership, the respectable thing to do after charging someone $180+ dollars and receiving this feedback is to work with them. I was told, too bad, we already got to charge you regardless if you use it or got the email or not, and you wont be getting a refund. This company has ALWAYS been scammy but this confirms I will constantly advocate against them and never support them in the futureReview from mike k

I would like to have my profile deleted/account closed and I can not figure out how to do so. I havent used this account in years and do not plan on ever doing so. I recently received an email to my email address with someone elses name on in about a subscription being updated. I logged into my free account and didnt see any active subscriptions, but to be on the safe side, I would like to close my account. I tried doing this online but just got caught in an endless loop with instructions in how to cancel a subscription. This shouldnt be so hard.Review from Paige H

As I scroll the reviews they are all the same. **** should reconsider their policy and take this as feedback that their customer service support *****. You cannot even call them as the number doesnt even work and out of service. You are charging customers a very large sum and there should be some leeway for partial refund. Obviously your company is still in business off of the charges from customers that you ripped off. Change the title of your email instead of being sneaky have the title say your annual renewal. Upon reviewing your account, we have confirmed that on October 24, 2023, you purchased a 14-day free trial to an annual **** membership. After the 14-day free trial, your annual **** membership would renew if not cancelled before the 14-day free trial ends. Reading through these other reviews tells the kind of company that Beachbody is. They focus on the letter of law, throwing terms and conditions at you, making it your fault they continue to bill you. Not only that, but the annual fee also increased almost 100%. And the annual renewal? A week ago - right before Christmas. $190 something dollars withdrawn unexpectedly from my account. My kids father passed away this month, it's Christmas.... but I should have read the contract. This company has no sympathy and is heartless. Think twice about any kind of subscription with them. Terrible company! No longer the company it once was. DO NOT sign up for their annual online subscription.I was charged $188 on 11/29/24. Called today to cancel the membership I have not used in years only to be told i didn't cancel before the renewal and so they won't give me a refund for the upcoming yearly membership. I will not and have not used their services yet they won't give a refund. This use to be one of the best platforms around and now they treat their customers like c*** Do not give them your money. If I could give negative stars, I would. I was not able to cancel my membership because my account was not showing an active membership but **** still charged my expired credit card for 6 more months. I put in a request to appeal it but it was denied. Absolutely ridiculous that they already cost more than anyone else, but also have terrible customer service.Beachbody, LLC Response

I completely understand the rules. However, because of a glitch on my account that ********************** agreed was their error and had to fix it, there was no membership or trial showing. It did not show that I had anything to cancel in the 14 day trial so I was unable to opt out before the trial was over. Obviously a convenient mistake because then I was charged for a 6 month membership even though my account wasnt showing that I had any active membership. After speaking to someone at corporate, they admitted this was an error on beach bodis end, but still would not refund me for a membership that I did not want. Its unethical to advertise a free trial when youre going to charge for the membership no matter what.Customer Response

I think its a scam for them to get you to pay the expensive membership. It more then a price of a membership at a gym. I cant use the screen without a membership why is that. I cant see my workout info without paying for a membership at less on a regular stationary bike you are able to see your information. This was a waste of money I would love to get a refund. Dont purchase unless you ready to pay for the expensive membership its not worth it. Im on a fix my income I cant afford this expensive membership.Beachbody, LLC Response
