    I have a loan with Uprova, and in December arranged a payment settlement with them, which I have adhered to. This morning I was looking at my **************** credit report and see that my loan is now in collections status. This is wrong and in my opinion, unethical behavior. I called them in good faith to work out payment problems and even though I'm continuing to pay, they are punishing me, and creating bigger problems for my future loan needs. I understand contract language gives them the "right" to do so but it it is still wrong and punitive. I would appreciate them changing my status from collections to current.

    I took out a loan of 400$ in December with this company and at the time it was a reasonable interest rate, With payment timeline to the end of April 2025, Its now coming to end of April so I went to check the loan and they clearly jacked up my interest rate without telling me, I have already paid 780$ toward the loan yet I still have 330$ remaining and the payment schedule shows that I'm still going to have to pay another 780$. that has to be like a 300% interest rate, is that not criminal? and even if its not I would NEVER NEVER NEVER have taken out a loan if that were up front about that interest rate.

    Borrowed $1600. The first payment was withdrawn from my account. $360+ of which 95% went directly to interest. After that, more interest was tacked onto the account, making my new principal balance after the first payment, higher than what I borrowed. This is illegal in the state of **********. Deceptive and criminal.

    I took out a loan for $500 with Uprova. . I have already paid back over $500 and they want over $1800 for it to be paid in full. It has a 525% interest rate which violates Indianas usury laws. They are not licensed to operate in *******. They are not owned/operated by a tribe and do not operate on tribal land which makes every loan they give out illegal and unenforceable. I have already paid back my loan and then some, so I want my loan to be marked paid in full and closed. If not I will be contacting my states attorney general to get involved in the matter.

    Last week (end of March), I received a 1099-C in the mail from an online loan company. I have not taken out a loan in over 25 years. Someone stole my information and took out a loan with this company called Uprova. I contacted the company last week as soon as I got the 1099-C. They said that I needed to log a complaint on their website (which I did immediately) and that someone would contact me with in ***** hours. NO ONE has contacted me back.I pointed out to the person I talked with on the phone that no one ever contacted me to collect the loan. The only way I found out about it was because of the 1099-C. I questioned how they got the correct address for the 1099-C but not for the collection of the loan. No answer. This company should not be allowed to provide loans without properly vetting the information they are given.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Uprova allowed a loan to be taken out in my name with my social security number without properly vetting the information.  I am having to spend a ridiculous, I mean ridiculous, amount of my time to get this reversed.   I have logged a report with my local police.  I have filed an identity theft report with the government.  I shouldn't have to do this because Uprova didn't do their due diligence before granting the loan.  I understand that they have written off the loan, but that doesn't clear the 1099-C that has been filed with the IRS.  The 1099-C affects my taxes, and I refuse to pay taxes on a loan that I did not ask for nor receive. Writing off the loan on their part doesn't remove this from my credit report either.   

    My complaint has nothing to do with them being a sovereign land.  They still need to do their due diligence before granting a loan.

    I took out a loan have made a bunch of payments that would have paid back in full already,But with the ****** % interest rate, which has to be illegal, does not make anything easy to pay.I would either like my money back, or just have this account closed and no more money taken from my account,Amount Finance, $2200.00, but the total that they want paid back is $6,791.00.This somehow has to be all illegal, and i fell for it.     This company is robbing people. They want to charge me more interest and already paid $1,100! They changed the interest rate on me to over 500% and explained to me over the phone that they charge daily for interest! I took out a loan for $900.00! I should not be charged over 500% in interest and charged another $800.00.

    I was needing some quick cash for an emergency and borrowed $1000 from Uprova Credit. It seemed legit and they approved me quick and funded my account in minutes. So I have made 5 payments of $273.31 and have knocked the principle down $60. I just checked payoff balance and it says I still owe $1143.00. I feel like I was taken advantage of cause the APR and amount of payments were never disclosed at signing and it felt all rushed and is probably why they fund you so fast! So I was able to see the amount of payments and APR% and I still have 10 payments and the APR% is 689%. I refuse to pay this outrageous amount and know for a fact that APR is criminal. I called and asked why it was never disclosed and the lady on the phone said i could have called and asked???
