    I took out a loan for $1,000 from Uprova. I just recently learned that they are charging illegal interest rates of 488%. I lost my job and have been emailing them to setup a $50/month payment as that is what I could afford. I want written correspondence, so I asked for email or for them to mail something to my home address. They can do neither according to their customer service. I want to know how they are allowed to charge interest rates this high? Again, from I read this illegal.

    I had taken a loan out with Uprova for $700. The interests rates shown when applying are no where near what I ended up with. This company is incredibly deceiving and prey on people with bad credit. I have already paid back the amount I borrowed and another almost $700 in interest on top of that with 7 more payments still to go. I live in the state of ** and the interest rate they are charging is illegal. This loan should be considered paid in full.

    I secured a loan of $500 from **************************. As I remember it, I oringally saw it would take around 10 payments to pay it off but checking the website today showed 17 more payments of $108.00 (bi-weekly) for a total of $1,957.57. ******%???? I never would have agreed to those terms! That is highway robbery. I can't prove it but I feel the deal changed without me knowing. Never using this lender again.

    I took out a loan with Uprova Credit on October 13th, 2024 I paid them 3 payments of $377.13 I revoked my ach authorization and they continued to try to withdraw funds. They are now saying I owe over $4000 Please let me know what to do ? Any payment I make o my goes to interest customer ID is *******

    I've been trying to pay off this loan for weeks and their online option will not allow me to pay off a loan or even pay any extra. I believe this is their way of forcing you to pay the high interest for the duration of the loan instead of being able to pay it off early. I've sent several emails and made a phone call and they either refuse to answer or give me the runaround. This is unacceptable and illegal.

    Uprova's answer was just a copy of the terms and conditions. It did not answer why they reject payments and payoff attempts in order to force interest to be paid. This is a fraudulent practice.

    I had gotten a loan for ******* in November. I've made 4 payments and decided to pay it off early, and I've paid a total of *******. And I would of paid ******* in total if I wouldn't of paid it off. How do they get away with charging more than triple in payment than what I borrowed?

    I took out a loan when I was in a bind from Uprova for $1,600. I have paid over $700, but still owe more than the original loan and Uprova refuses to work with me. They charged off my account around 30 days and will not work with me on a payment plan. The maximum annual percentage in ******* is 18 percent! My loan's annual percentage is 430%! This is criminal.

    Took a loan out, paid for a few month, then got offered an a refinancing. I've already paid almost the total cost of the original loan, but just noticed my rate is over 500%. Pretty sure that's illegal. Took the refinancing and somehow now I owe even more than the first time? All I want is this whole thing closed. Not seeking money back, or anything like that. Just please close my account and don't take anymore money for this clearly illegal interest rate.

    They call and leave messages saying we have important information about your account call us back and then when you call back they are just trying to get you to take out a new loan. This happened to me at least three times. They referenced my account in the voicemail, which has been closed for about a month. So I call to make sure everything is okay just for them to try to sell me something. So I dont even have an account with them. They are using alarming language in their messages to mislead consumers into thinking there is something wrong, to get them to call back, for them to say we were calling to discuss loan options with you. Misleading at best; nefarious and harmful at worst. Illegal? Maybe.

    The loan with Uprova was $1200.00. They are charging me a total of $4573.54 to pay it off. This is not legal. They also cannot explain to me why it went up so much. Missed one payment that I will gladly pay. Does not make sense. These people are criminal.
