I attempted to return an item purchased 5 days earlier because it was not on sale. This was done at the ****************************************************The manager told me infront of several other customers and employees that I can return the item which I purchased 5 days earlier at a higher price but, in his words, "I won't let you purchase another one in my store at the new sale price".I was shocked and the cashier, ****, was also shocked and later told me that I could take it to another store and return it. I did just that without any conflict. This manager needs to be reprimanded or replaced with **** as the new manager.Thank you *********************

The date of the transaction of the chainsaw disc for a grinder was right around the 26 th of May 2024. It was a gift from someone else that knew I was looking at it before. The resolution is compensation without having to go through litigation straight up settle out of court because this thing didn't have sufficient warning on the pack that was out in sight. This things need to be taken off the shelf as well. Now when I say compensation without having to go through litigation I got all the time in the world. But I promise harbor freight does not and they owe me for this pain and suffering I'm going through. I got a severe laceration report about my toll and I'm needing to go back to the doctor *** because I think it's actually broken as well. They need to have A claims adjuster that represents their insurance company to contact me ASAP and start getting the ball rolling and get me a claim's number. If not I'll just take him to court and they'll have to pay all them costly court costs and pay for a lawyer in the end pay for my lawyer and that I have to pay compensation as well when we can bypass all that.

I was charged for an ***************** membership by the cashier despite my consistently responding that I was not interested. We moved to ******* as part of a military move, and I was clearing out some receipts and found one from the day we moved into our home. That day, I ran into the ******* location on ************ to purchase a ladder. I was in a rush, wrangling a large ladder and the salesperson added the charge without asking for permission. This is a terrible thing as I never taken advantage of a membership I did not know I had, nor did I request. This company is very deceitful and I want my money back. I used to really like this store but now I will NEVER shop there again and warn everyone about their shady practices.

My husband bought a jackhammer from Harbor Freight on Friday, May 24th. Once he returned to the jobsite, he discovered it was defective out of the box. It started with no problem, however stopped working after only a few minutes. My husband returned it to the store today, May 29th in hopes of a refund, but was charged a 20% "restock" fee of $118.56 for a piece of equipment that the store manager, **** confirms will not be restocked for resale. At best, this is unethical and in my opinion a form of theft. There are many ****** reviews that echo our experience about this company as well.

On 5/25/2024 I purchased a Predator 4550/3650W Open Frame Inverter Generator at Harbor Freight for about $600. I spent the next day trying to get the unit working reliably but it would not turn on. On 5/27/2024 I brought it back to the store however they did not have a replacement unit available. They charged me a $108.80 restocking fee even though the generator was defective and they could not swap it for a new unit. I spoke to the store manager and the ***** customer service line. It was not my fault the unit was defective and they had no replacement available so why should I have to pay the restocking fee? This was the store's responsibility and out of my control. I asked both the store manager and the phone customer support rep to waive the restocking fee but they refused.

The credit card is for Harbor Freight and it is issued by *************** They have charged me with fraudulent charges that they have created. I discovered that I had lost my original credit card Oct. 2023 and reported it to them. They closed that card and issued me a new card. On Nov. 10, 2023 I discovered the fraudulent charges that had been made on the replacement card that was never received. The new replacement card ending in 4006 was stolen during the mailing process. There were eight charges made on the stolen card from spanning from Nov. 1, 2023 through Nov. 10, 2023, totaling $990.34. There could not have been any other charges on the card after Nov. 10, 2023 as the card was cancelled. When they sent me a new replacement card for the stolen card they carried the total balance forward of $990.34 and then they carried forward 6 of the 8 individual charges that made up the original amount of $990.34. They double billed me for six of the eight fraudulent charges. From there, their accounting department has made so many mistakes, that are very clearly showing on the bill statements, that my bill grew from $990.34 to $1720.05 after the card was cancelled. The fraud claim was approved and they are now billing me for charges that they created due to their own accounting errors, otherwise looked at by me, as fraudulent charges that they, *************** have created on my account. They have admitted to the mistakes, and they tell me each time I call that they will get it corrected. This has been going on since Jan. 2024 and they still do not have it corrected. I have documents stating that the fraud claim for the $990.34 was approved, yet they continue to bill me for their own fraudulent charges that they have created with their accounting mistakes. My bill is now $748.53, and it should be $0.00. I had a second card ending in 7967 that was stolen before I received that card also. The fraud claim on that card was approved and credited back to my account.

Have purchased several items over many years at Harbor Freight and have been satisfied. Harbor Freight sent us a 25% Single Item Coupon underlining "NO EXCLUSIONS" because they "Missed" us. The fine print noted "In store". Went "in store" to purchase HF's CENTRAL MACHINERY Saw Mill with 301cc Gas Engine. (See attached item). Salesperson said they could not order it, that we had to do it ONLINE. Attempted to Order item ONLINE. (See attached). Entered CODE Number for the 25% COUPON in response to Harbor Freight's prompt. Harbor Freight Online Order states "Sorry, the coupon code ***************** does not apply to the item(s) in your cart." We entered the number again to ensure we put the number in correctly.. The response said: "Please use only letters or numbers. No spaces or special characters." As you can see, we entered the correct information twice. Harbor Freight's advertisement of their COUPON is predatory and seems to constitute false and misleading advertising to potential customers. We ask that ********************** HONOR the 25% Coupon and to be applied to the $2499.00 advertised price for Central Machinery's Saw Mill, which we attempted to purchase. The predatory nature of Harbor Freight's action should be addressed.
