In the last year XPO has destroyed 1 pallet of my products and delivered a half empty and broken pallet and ENTIRELY lost a 2nd pallet. These pallets both contained $3000-5000 of my product. We package them very well. They are shrink wrapped, labelled and all other shippers have never have an issue with product loss or damage. They run a crooked internal claims process that stretches on for months and months, in the end of the most recent issue we were offered $3 per pound of missing item...which equates to less than 1/3 of the value. I have SUPER mad customers who never got their items, now I am out the products too that XPO cannot or will not return to me. Now, on the most recent pallet I am out well over $3000 of my product and hundreds in shipping fees. If you do choose to use them I highly recommend adding a GPS tracking device like an air-tag or tile to your shipment, that way you can find it and get a law enforcement escort to whatever hell hole shipping yard it ends up at when it doesn't arrive to it's destination.Initial Complaint

Requested XPO to pick up merchandise in ** and ship it to **. XPO pick up the wrong order Both the seller and myself are trying to resolve the issue. XPO is now strong arming us to demand a pay of $2996 to release the merchandise which is not what i ordered and is being held in ** not the delivery location. As the amount is more that customary i have asked how was this rate calculated? No answer. no effort to resolve the matter being that the driver did not do their due diligence to see the the delivery destination did not match the bill of lading and that paper work states to be picked up by another company(NOT MY ORDER) XPO reps have been rude and dismissive also was to speak with Manager Hardy at ************ who has refused to come to the phone his secretary Sandra also claims not be able to see the order with tracking # ********* in the internal system which i can see on the website. Shipper would like to retrieve the merchandise as this is for another company they are not opposed to paying something but this rate is beyond industry standards. I believe they caught their mistake in ** and returned it ** as you can see in the tracking history.Initial Complaint

Our company..** * **** *** ****** uses several trucking companies to ship to our customers. XPO as well as other companies quote us for shipping LTL. We choose the best fit for the shipment. When the bills come in from XPO they charge us significantly higher than what they quoted. When we contest the difference with their rep he tells us it will be taken care of. Over time the difference in billing adds up, yet we are always assured it will be taken care of...AND they continue to ship our freight. Now their A/R dept contacts us and states we owe them $16,781.80 from as far back as 2022 and threaten to turn us in for collection. The sales rep says he will help but then will not respond to any communication. Felix from XPO keeps pressing for the $16,781.80 even though we have explained and provided back up info from * * ****. We went through the very same situation a few years ago with another carrier and found out the following. Truckers quote one rate and then charge more. They promise to handle it BUT keep the open balances on their A/R. Eventually it catches up with them and they press the customer for settlement offering a reduction to settle. We do NOT owe them the money and have records showing the amounts in question were contested. XPO collections officer, Felix, claims none were contested even though we have records showing they were. I take the threat of collections seriously and do not want a 'ding' on our record. I have used BBB before and had great results. I am hoping with BBB getting involved they will do the right thing and drop this. One funny note...with all this happening, I still get emails from XPO reps asking how we can increase business with them. If someone really owed me $16,000 from 2022 I sure as heck would NOT try to pursue increasing my business with them.Initial Complaint

I have a shipment that we awarded to XPO logistics to deliver an order to my customer, the amount of the quote from XPO came in around $187.09 We received an invoice from XPO originally in the amount of $1,714.32 immediately upon receiving this we disputed this amount being totally out of line. Upon working with XPO and proving and showing them what was shipped and that they were in error they lowered the invoice amount to $853.75 which was good, but it was still far off from where the amount of the original quote came in at. I have attached the paperwork here for your review. We have no issues in paying for the amount that originally was accepted as to why we awarded them the shipment and business. We have shipped lots of orders with XPO in the past and never had such a issue actually with any freight carrier like this one we have here. We are the shipper of the product and we know what the product is, which is described in the documentation attached. We are a small company and feel like we are trying to be taken advantage of by a large corporate company. We are grateful the BBB can help clear this up.Initial Complaint

They delivered and installed my dishwasher on November 8th, 2024. It is now December 21st, 2024. I have barely been able to use my dishwasher this whole time. After speaking with maufacturer, I contacted RXO due to probable install issue. Got disconnected, could not get back thorugh. Called again, followed their instructions. Did not work. Called again, requetsed call back, never got one. Called again, on hold, explained. Told they would "expedite email" which I think means they'll pretend I never called. Did not hear back for 2 days. Called again. Today (12/23) called again, on hold, same answer, nothing happened. called back again, on hold multiple times. I told them that I had discoverd the issue myself. Installers drilled a new (?!) hole in my cabinet that is too high making the hose from dishwasher to disposal crimped from stress, which won't allow dishwasher to drain. Told they would "expadite an email". I asked to speak to a manager they said they would put me through to a product specialist. I said I wanted a manger, got put through to product specialist, repeated whole thing again. Said they would "expadite an email". I asked to be put through to a manger. On hold again. Said they would have to put me in a "queue" for the manager to call me back. It's been five hours. Nothing. I do not believe they will call me back. Please help me get this fixed so that I can use my dishwasher! Google reviews online for this company are nothing but similar stories. They are terrible! This install was part of the dishwasher purchae price through ***** ****.Initial Complaint

I am writing to formally file a complaint against XPO Logistics regarding the mishandling and loss of my recent shipment. Below are the details of the incident: Order Details: • Order Contents: 1 mattress and 2 sets of pillows • Shipment Weight: Approximately 100 lbs Incident Description: 1. Initial Mix-Up: I placed an order for a mattress and two sets of pillows, utilizing XPO Logistics for delivery through a broker. Unfortunately, XPO Logistics mixed up my order with another customer’s, resulting in the wrong package being delivered to me. The Bill of Lading clearly indicates that the first package delivered was supposed to be delivered to *** ******, not my address. 2. Resolution Attempts: After numerous phone calls and considerable time spent coordinating with XPO Logistics, the company located my mattress. They arranged to pick up the incorrect package and subsequently delivered my mattress to me. However, during this process, the two sets of pillows were lost, and only the mattress was delivered successfully. 3. Impact: The loss of the pillows has caused me significant inconvenience and financial loss. The total shipment was valued at approximately $600, with the pillows alone being worth $220. XPO Logistics’ Liability: According to XPO Logistics’ maximum liability policy, they offer a maximum payout of $500 for shipments up to 100 lbs. Given that my shipment was partially delivered (the mattress) and partially lost (the pillows), I believe the loss of the pillows should be fully reimbursed under their liability policy. Requested Resolution: I am requesting that XPO Logistics reimburse me the full value of the lost items, specifically $220 for the two sets of pillows. Supporting Documentation: • Copy of the Bill of Lading for the wrong package and the correct one (partially redacted) • Proof of Mattress and Pillows Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and assistance in resolving this complaint.
